Had Hekate call out LOUD today. I’d been drawn to her for a while and a few years back bought a statue to put in a garden I was working on in the yard. Found a garden snake while I was doing it so I put her statue there and didn’t think anything of it until today. Felt so much comfort and power during such a rough time so I looked up what I could give back to her and was gonna start with garlic, sage, honey and a candle. While looking for a candle in the junk room I found a bag of dry lavender, roses, and a KEY. I’m definitely not ready for spell work but that was crazy to me. Not sure how to go about it.
I cannot believe you mentioned the awareness shop! I had the absolute worst experience in that shed they call sacred space. All because I work with Hekate. L and A are not good people, mean is an understatement Welcome back though!

A friend who works with Aphrodite mentioned that she got the vibe from me that I would work well with Hades. In reaching out to Hades, I got rejected pretty harshly, but I got more of a "You're not ready for this" type of feeling that, in hindsight, was probably for the best. The room I had my alter and did the majority of my practice in had the ceiling tiles fall in due to a storm and spread insulation all over the place. All that kinda stopped me from practicing for a while, but this feels like a good time to get back in the swing of things
This video really made me reconsider certain things about my own path. I’ve only recently had the free time to research and start practices (studies and college), but before that, I was sort of thrusted into all of this without even knowing how to sense my own energy. Others have told me that a couple of deities have been trying to reach out to me but I don’t feel anything. I try not to talk crap about others, but if deities are trying to reach out to me, that should be something I recognize. Until I feel I’m ready I won’t be doing deity work. Thank you, hearing it from another really does open the mind.

Glad you mentioned narcissism. Understanding narcissism has helped me to heal in life in general and I'm at a stage of going through spiritual awakening. I think I am a baby witch. I have quite a collection of crystals, I always light candles and incense and have quite a lot of books on the subject. Also tarot cards which will be good for practicing intuition. Appreciate the advice.
I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with a coven I did get the same thing from people when I told them I work with my native American practice and working with a Anubis and Bas but honestly there a great balance between the two and I feel whole as a person ❤

Wow. Didn't know the awareness shop was a bad experience for you. They seem so kind and knowledgeable on their you tube channel. I don't live near their shop but do purchase items from them and they were quality items like their exclusive deity statues that are made for them. Also that comment about you and Artemis is strange since both the husband and wife owners work with Cerridwen as their mateon deity. They do follow a Celtic tradition and believe you can't mix pantheons. Maybe in a coven setting it was a different experience for you personally. We all need to follow our instincts and do what feels right for us. Great video and info! Thanks

I've started failry recently, a few months ago, to practice ( let's say more learn and try little things). Only protection jars, spells and such along with some divination through oracle cards. There is someone that talks to me through my cards, and told me clearly that they're there for me BUT i need to be there for them. And it's not time yet. i don't have much to "put on the table" in our possible collaboration. they've been pretty clear on what i need to do, shadow work and research, work on myself and be strong and believe in myself. i don't know if that's my patron/matron or a spirit guide, but they always seem to know what words to say to me when i need them. i hope one day i'll be worthy of their presence.

Coming from narcissistic parents, growing through my spiritual awakening has helped very much. Trusting my intuition is very helpful. Hekate is my matron goddess whereas odin is my God. I have worked with Loki as well.
I'm very glad that you're a lot better now. Just to let you know that I often refer my brothers and sisters' witches down here in Australia to your channel. As witchcraft is still very much underground here. We're very slowly getting accepted by the community at large. But there's still a hell of a lot of prejudice towards us. So, it is very hard for a lot of us to get any information on these topics. I am sorry about your injury. I am not a wiccan, but I do believe in things come in 3s. If things happen twice, a third is on its way. That's why sadly I can't return to Hong Kong because of this law. I fear that if I return to Hong Kong by air, I will die, I would be killed in a plane crash. Why I say that is because I have had 2 near misses with planes heading to Hong Kong. The first was in 97 Paris to Hong Kong, and our plane had a suspect package on board, aka a suspected bomb. Never trust the French to deal with bombs, lol. At least you guys have the bomb squad. The French seem to only have the military, lol. They shot the suspected bomb. Oh, yeah, that's how to deactivate a bomb. Yeah, BOOM!!! It wasn't a bomb, thank goodness. The second was in 06 Guilin to Hong Kong. The plane upon landing did a barrel roll coming into land. Everyone was screaming on that flight. Thankfully, we landed safely. You can see why I can't return to Hong Kong by air. I hope you make a fast recovery.

Will you be covering Sekhmet in a future deity video? I am also a solitary practitioner and have never interacted with a coven but a friend of my husband's said at one point in his life he was very interested witchcraft. He joined a Wiccan group but as a man he really felt like he had no purpose there as this particular group was wholly focused on all things Goddess and female. He left and it really gave him a bad impression.
Strange thing happened. I kept on getting birds flying into the window and die. And I buried the three I found. Even showed them respect. Just felt I had to. I had an issue with someone who wanted to harm me, and I buried a ring she gave me on the same spot and asked spirit that her energy leave me alone. I heard she left in that week. I have never done spells in my life but I felt that intensely. Do you think it was intuition and intention alone that made that happen?

I'm not going to do tiktok, twitter, discord etc. It literally gives me anxiety just thinking of juggling them. I'm only here and IG for my YT. I'm thinking of starting to do a weekly favorites for YT videos on my IG stories but I'm a bit unsure. That woman was definitely wrong, but if she uses them in that way then she must clarify that's how SHE uses it after telling the client what they are commonly used for. The Artemis thing kind of feels like they were mixing up Dianic Wicca where there are supposed to be no males but who knows. People put Deities in human boxes, they are beyond our human boxes and understanding. People need to also keep in mind the cult mentality. Bloodlines don't really exist, they were more invented by media like books and movies. If you come from a family of witches you still need to learn the ways. I thought it was a jasper! 😂🤣

I agree with a lot of this, but not necessarily having to put up a lot of protections while contacting a deity. Any other type of spirit, sure, put up protection. But people have prayed to their gods/goddesses for thousands of years without protection. The prayers themselves were protection

Trust your intuition and take notes. You are being guided. Think of a spell as an embodied, ritual prayer if it helps you.
