have you tried using low concentration of aha a couple times a week? (+sunscreen of course) Aha+niacinamide+sunscreen really help me fade hyperpigmentation without the crazy peeling
Michele m can't be peeled off. Has to come off by itself. If you peel it off it will scar. It's like picking off a scab and underneath the skin may still be raw/start bleeding.
It’s really not that hard. Definitely do it during a break if you can but I went to work during it. You can cut the skin off, not peel it off but when you cut it it doesn’t look as bad.
I would live to try a chemical peel but that down time is serious. 9 days practically before being presentable enough to go outside. For those of us who work outside of the home... something to really consider.

I had an acid peel and microdermabrasion done on my back years ago. It looked horrible at first but then when the scabs heeled i had clear skin on my back.
Your skin is gorgeous! I've done chemical peel too at least twice or thrice a year. It's very uncomfortable and painful when you're peeling. usually do it when I'm on a vacation to avoid sun exposure and human interaction 😅 But i totally agree, the result is worth the pain.
LOL, right? Probably the one downside is having to lay low for a bit. Ppl typically do it on a Wednesday so that by late Friday - Sunday you won't have to be at work while all the peeling is happening.

kamy s try a series of microdermabrasion. And there are chemical peels with no downtime (lower level peels) you can just do them more frequent 2x a month.
I have had three peeling sessions and I had to go to work.you should have seen how I used to try and disguise myself and avoiding everyone.it was so hard😂😂😂 then you accidentally bump into someone with hanging and burnt skin.the shock on people's faces is priceless 😂😂😂
my only annoyance is i can never find time off to do peels. there is always something i cant get out of. Plus peel days vary on person. once i was prepared for a week off for salicylic peel but for whatever reason my peeling didnt start until 10 days after i had it done. I was like really!
@Maggie Butcher. it's not impossible to reduce your pore size. there's only 1 and only one proper and permanent way to reduce size and that's microneedling.

I asked the cosmetologist for a jar of chemical pilling, and with a cotton swab I put myself a composition. As the cosmetologist explained to me, if the composition burns unbearably, then baking soda diluted in water should be applied. Soda is a natural acid neutralizer. The easiest care is from greasy and moisturizing creams, oils and gels.
It’s nice to see someone without make up on and actually like has acne...you know??? Most of the people getting them done and making videos about it don’t even have acne...so it’s pointless for me to look at those videos...I can’t even tell the difference...but with someone who has acne I can tell the difference...
They recommend three vi peels 4 to 6 weeks apart for best results! I doing it and I don’t have bad acne scars or acne I just want to do the whole protocol and see my results

SPF 30+ protects the skin from darkening acne scars. The most important thing That + the ordinary exfoliants (like mandelic acid, lactic or glycolic) 2-3 x a week. All that dead skin and pigment is slowly fading with regular exfoliation, hydration and sun protection From weakest to strongest chemical exfoliants from THE ORDINARY: 1) Mandelic acid (super gentle for sensitive skin or people new to chemical exfoliation 2) lactic acid - such a great step up to mandelic, really great for pore size and texture 3) glycolic acid 7%- relatively strong, shouldn’t be used everyday. Build up the skin but amazing for pigmentation issues! I’ve started using it after working my way up.
I just made an appointment with my dermatologist to try it. I’m able to to control my acne with aloe and Castro oil but my scars are not disappearing 😩. I hope that it works for me too.

That's a great idea, perfect right before abig event like your wedding to make sure you have your best skin ever! I have oily skin, it's not necessarily going to help with oiliness but I think it was actually an advantage having the peel not be dry, cracking or irritating as it might be for anyone with dry skin

It really sucks. to keep my breakouts from happening often I use an AHA/BHA toner from CosRX. It does wonders! I use it every day in the morning.

It’s really not that hard. Definitely do it during a break if you can but I went to work during it. You can cut the skin off, not peel it off but when you cut it it doesn’t look as bad.
