    Keep trucking brother. You’ll hit 100,000 soon enough. Appreciate all the insights you share with us. Going to try that ice barrel water stabilizer in my DIY.

    Great content! Thank you! Husband and I did our first cold plunge today with ice in a Rubbermaid. He’s sold out and is already planning on saving for the upgrade by next month.

    This is my first time winterizing. Ice Barrel 300. My plan is to just remove the Chiller from your DIY setup. I plan to leave the pump and strainer intact to keep the water flowing. I will bring the Chiller inside to store for the winter.

    mine cost $450 total, 10.5 cu freezer, 50 dollar thermostat controller, floating thermostat, and chlorine bleach, First plunge ever 4 minutes at 38 degrees, loved it since I do BJJ. My skin felt like a little freezer burn feeling. I was completely dried off and still felt like i was somewhat wet

    Thanks as always!! Great info and advice. I bought the 300 on your recommendation and I couldn't be happier. I live in SoCal at the beach so a hot day is 75 and a cold day is 50. That said I've been using Ice Barrels ice block forms and its been working pretty good. Low to mid 40's I want to get a chiller/filter but have held off as Ice Barrel says they are coming out with one end of year. Any word on this? They haven't responded to my emails. only complaint I have, but I get it they are growing fast.

    Hey love your videos. I know you use the water stabilizer. I was wondering what your experience with ozone machines are and if you still recommend that setup? Is it straight to the barrel or connected to the pump or chiller in any way. From my research it should do the job to keep the water clean. Thx and greetings from Germany.

    • @DavidMausJr
      @DavidMausJr  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Amazing! I haven’t had to use the ozone much lately but when it’s needed it definitely works great! I just use it when needed

    Thanks for this and all your videos. I would love to hear if you have ideas on any plug-and-play barrel-style cold plunge tubs that are comparable to Plunge, but in the vertical barrel design. The only one I've found so far is The Cold Life, but for $8k it seems really steep. I need to be able to have it set up outdoors in the winter where temps are below freezing for about 4 months straight. Is Ice Up industries the only one under $8k that has all those features?

    • @DavidMausJr
      @DavidMausJr  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      So many expensive options like that. Need some more affordable ones. Maybe one will come out like that.

    I currently have a rubber LDP tub (85 gal). I just use ice, dump and repeat. Now that temps here in TX are creeping down, I’d love to leave water in it for a week plus. To keep the junk from accumulating, do you think that strainer from your 400 build and the Danner 1200 submersed would help keep things cleaner? I’ll add some h202 occasionally too.

    • @DavidMausJr
      @DavidMausJr  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      For sure! That’s a solid plan and that’s what people are doing

    Great video! I have the ice barrel with 1/2 hp active aqua works great, but I’m in a colder climate and winter is coming. Do you have any product recommendations for an inline electric heater or submersible?

      Stock tank de-icer from a farm supply store. Will keep the water in the 32-45F range

    I just have a Nurecover ice bath. I'm looking to see how I should keep my water clean. I watched your other videos before and saw your "My Cold Plunge Cleaning Kit" on amazon.
    Based on this current video, I would only need the Water Stabilizer from Ice Barrel? I wouldn't need: 1.) COODIA Internal Green Water Killer Aquarium Filter Tank U-V Pump, 2.) Hydrogen peroxide, 3.) Ozone Generator (which I can't buy because I'm in CA)
    is this correct?

    • @DavidMausJr
      @DavidMausJr  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Perfect! Should be super clean using those.

    Curious about the ratio of hydrogen peroxide to gallon capacity of the tub, how often and do you ph test?

    Question I am 6’1” 250. What ice barrel would recommend 300 or 400 for my size? Live in Fl it will be outside under cover.

    • @DavidMausJr
