Just wanted to say this video definitely got me started - thank you for the detailed step-by-step! You missed a crucial part of fixing the error, by resetting the solenoid gear (or whatever it is called). I did find another video that took care of that step, and it also had a couple of shortcuts to getting to the switch and the gears. Thanks again!
In 12000 easy steps 🎉 I’ve now disassembled it but am unsure if I will ever be able to get it back together correctly. Update: I've reassembled it and it actually works! I was mostly scared of all the small cables on the mainboard but it was not as bad as expected, it was pretty clear which one went where. For others who are doing this, I can also recommend watching the "How to fix a 59.F0 error on HP CP3525 in half the time. 30 minutes." Video. While I did not follow his shortened "half the time" procedure, he has some great commentary on the actual problem and a tip for turning some gears until the solenoid clicks before reassembling that I followed (not sure if this strictly was necessary but better safe than sorry).
@@TonerRefillVideos Thank you, I've made it. And thank you for documenting this in the video. I was able to reassemble it and it actually works! I was mostly scared of all the small cables on the mainboard but it was not as bad as expected, it was pretty clear which one belongs where.
@@TonerRefillVideos I think I need to do the same for the CP4025. How close is this to the CP4025 model? I mean it's not the end of the world if I can't put it back together because I am doing it just to save it from being ewaste.

Thank you for sharing your video it was very helpful. I followed your video and once I put everything together it got worse. Now it makes a loud noise and still gives me the same error. But I noticed When I took out the transfer belt and restart the noise goes away. Does this mean I need to replace the entire transfer belt? How would I know for sure that it’s not the solenoid? I use my HP Color LaserJet CP3525dn a lot and would hate to get rid of it. I would greatly appreciate any advice how to troubleshoot this issue. Desperately need help. Thank you
There are two possible reasons for the noise you hear. First is a problem with the mechanics of the device or the transfer belt. And the second is you may missed some connector while reassemble the device.
Hi thanks for the video, before I go pulling my printer apart, I am competent by the way, how can I check it is this that is the problem? I do have the error code 59.F0 . Many thanks for a great video
Hello friend! The most common reason for 59.f0 error is that solenoid. If after repairing it the problem still occurs then you have to try with another solenoid. Other possible reason (rare) is problematic transfer belt.
Thank you for this amazing video,, good job👍 I want to ask you. I have error that show "turn off then reinstall itb" in the panel when i turn my hp cp5225 on. I did that command, i turned it off then i took the itb off and installed again but that error still there.. I did that repeatly but the error not solved.. Do you have any solutions for that sir?
Hello friend! If you have another transfer belt install it and see if the error appears again. If you have disassembled the printer as in the video take a look if all of the connectors are in place. Maybe you forgot some... Good luck!
I followed the solution for my CP4525dn and now the printer displays error 59.C0 upon bootup. The printer's gears are making a screech when booting up. What should I try?
All 3 of mine now give the same error 59.F0. I Cleaned and put Shrink sleeve on one. Didnt work. I took off the shrink sleeve and cleaned it but then took out the Transfer kit to visually check..now it wont go back in. One of my HP3525s has melted nylon gears but says 59.F0. Anybody want any spares?
I first had the "Transfer kit low" message, I just took it out and cleaned it. I wanted to replace the blade instead of the whole unit, much cheaper. I will do that soon. When I put it back in, I'm getting the "59. FO" message now. What can I do to fix it?
You have a sticky solenoid. Take a look at the video and you will see how to solve this. It is not so hard to disassemble the device and reassemble it after solenoid "repair". Good luck!
It means that you have to replace the transfer belt with a new one. I will check if it's possible to reset its counter and in a couple of days I will shoot a video to show how to solve this issue. Stay tuned.
Have you tested the solenoid if it still stucking? The solenoid has to be cleaned very well before applying the tape. After that if you still get the same mistake, please try to replace the solenoid with a new one. One more thing - please check all of the connectors if they are on their place.
59.c0 error is mostly caused by sticky solenoid under the plasic gear wheels. It's not so easy, but it's not so hard too ;) Unfortunately I don't have a video for these models. I will do my very best to shoot one soon. Good luck!
one question, i finished everything, but when i put it back together, i get a message as if i don't have the transfer kit installed. what could it be? is it that i connected something wrong? Thanks...
This error stands for disconnected delivery fan (FM3). Check again for unplugged connectors. Reconnect the connectors J27 to J262 on the high-voltage power supply and J138 on the DC controller PCA.
Didn't work for me I reached and fixed the solenoid. The gears are not rattling any more. However, the error is still there and the printer is struggling with something upon the boot.
"easy fix" then proceeds to disassemble the whole printer. Actually it's a super useful guide, but I find the "easy fix" in the title kinda misleading. I understand it's not that hard, but it's still tedious and a long process.
I searched for the error and it says motor or transfer might be broken or face issue But as I watched this video you went for solenoid !!!! Are you sure the problem is solenoid ??
Hello friend! I have repaired a dozen of these printers and the problem with all of them was this solenoid, so I am pretty sure that the problem is exactly the solenoid. Good luck!
@@TonerRefillVideos thanks a lot mate My search result: Printer boots up to 59. F0 Error and is unable to print. @@TonerRefillVideos You dont know what your talking about. Clean bare metal will not stick. Its the pad, sponge, tape or whatever that turns sticky. Hello friend. Of course this process takes its time. No one have told it would be completed in 5 minutes. This easy fix is for the solenoid. Otherwise you have to pay a lot of money for a new one. And although it takes a lot of time it's not so hard to do it. There were users who did it and in the beginning they were not sure if they could assemble the device properly. You can not mismatch any of the cables there, every cable has its own unique connector. Good luck!
