Some days were horrible, other days it was not too bad. Last two days it's been continuous. I came to YT to look to see if it was an easy fix (why I hadn't done it before now is beyond me), I found this video and did the update. Printer worked flawlessly the rest of the day!!! I'm beyond happy it was something so simple.

For me it worked not to restart it right away, but to keep it off for about 3-5 minutes. And then turn it on again - the error disappeared. I'm not sure if this solves the problem. But it allows you to print in any case

Unfortunately, the file was I attached is only working for the specific printer. It is not working for your printer. You have to find the correct firmware for your printer.
I've tried this on a HP Laserjet 700 Color MFP M775, but it did not work. When plugging in the USB nothing happens. I rebooted the machine with the USB in, but still nothing. Any advice on this one?
@SIA4TECH that would be amazing!! I don't want to have to throw it out as it's otherwise a great printer and I still have lots of cartridges, but unfortunately the service cost would be too huge to fix it.
saved us, after the final step choose dcc file and then print, print another I pressed no and the error code came up again. but after couple of minutes the printer rebooted by it self and error is gone =)
@@SiyamandRashid I just realized the printer is a different model (m454dn) so it will only recognize USB's 16GB and higher (odd, I know) but has the same error. I am going to attempt to install the firmware update using the network or wifi. I'll let you know if this works after I give it a shot!

Unfortunately, the attached file is only for the specific model. Same method may work if you get the proper firmware for your printer.
Can you confirm that the printer M477 will still be able to use non original toners after the upgrade?

Sometimes you have to try two or three times , each time you have to shutdown the printer

Some times you have to do it twice or more, if after 3 successful tries happened again then it mean you have hardware issue

Make sure the flash memory is fat32 format otherwise it will not be readable by the printer

Im suspecting the issue from the fan itself or may be you need to clean the fan with a blower
