Amy, yes, please, continue to talk about it. I am 51 and am experiencing the same symptoms. My husband thought I was crazy when he asked me why I was crying and I said, “ I don’t know.” I get it girl! You’re not in this journey alone and it’s great to hear others women share. Assures me I’m not going crazy!
I bought that book, You Can’t Hurt Me. I started it, but I got into another book called Choose Strong and finished that one first. I now will go back and continue to finish reading that one.

Girl! I’m 51 and am in late perimenopause! I see a functional med doc bc they are more willing to do extra lab work and give HRT than a typical pcp. She started me on a little estrogen patch (mine was getting close to zero), a progesterone pill (I have a uterus), and a testosterone cream bc mine was almost none existent. I now feel so much better!! My moods have normalized and my energy is back! Go get ya some HRT! 🩵

Amy ,my daughter started Peri-Menopause last year and started having all the symptoms your describing ,she went to a gyno doctor and she got patches and immediately started feeling much better. She exercises, mostly hiking and walking it made a big difference for her. She even told me she thought she was starting to loose her mind, that’s when I told her to make a appointment with a doctor.
She is doing Great Now. Peri-Menopause is No Joke.😢 Get appoint ASAP👍🏻🤗hugs

Thank you Amy for being you, you just may have saved alot of souls with your honesty. Boy o' boy, I wish we had a Zoom conference with all us girls about dealing with the inevitable menopause state of life. Four years ago it was my turn and I thought I was going crazy. Only my dearest friends stayed for the ride, and what a bumpy ride. For me it started with major fatigue. Like you I have always prided myself in being able to take long hikes. But at 60 I started to have problems trying to get back to the house. Then the emotions came. Finally fed up with my primary who had no time for me, I literally marched my ass into a neurologist office once I was at the point that my legs didn't work, my stomach burning, and couldn't sleep fighting peripheral neuropathy. He did a few test, and before he spent my money, he gave me a blood report that showed i was extremely deficit in vitamin d. But taking supplements for me made it worse. He said through that crap out before you kill yourself. Get out in the sun for 15 minutes in the early morning for at least 3 days a week. Start incorporating omega 3s like salmon into your diet. Also, remember as our bodies age our blood thickens, so being out in hot humid weather can really do a number on our energy and mental well-being. So hang on sweet sister this is going to be one crazy wild ride.

First of all, YES! You will survive. You will get through it. The fact that you are in great physical shape will help you so much. The emotional effects are real. If you feel tears, let them flow! You really don't need a reason! If you're tired, sleep. Behind to yourself. The hot flashed and night sweats (which I never experienced!) are yucky!
Get this book: What Fresh Hell Is This?: Perimenopause, Menopause, Other Indignities, and You!!!

Hi Amy. Please keep having your thyroid blood panel checked. I feel for you. I had a complete hysterectomy at 42 and am 63. Hormone patch right after & that was it. Dr 's did not want to give me hormones due to my mom passing away at age 56 of metastatic breast cancer. So I am postmenopausal dealing with osteopenia. I also have hypothyroidism & low iron . Please talk to your obgyn about vitamins , hormones, & options for you. She/ he can do blood work & check blood work & check your hormones & thyroid function levels , iron levels & more. Love you girl & praying for you. You can get through this. Added. Also, an anniversary date of a loved one has caused this to happen to me. Crying & etc. & u realize it is an anniversary date of a death of someone you loved. Love you.

I was in the same mental state last summer. I have history of cancer from a young age of 26 & being 55 now I am struggling with the debilitating side effects of treatment. I didnt know for sure if it was menopause & my endocrinologist tested me & sure enough I was right in it but thankfully near the end. I think I'm seeing that light & the end of the tunnel.....lol I will keep you in my prayers. There is nothing worse than feeling so wacky & not knowing what to do. Girl yes! LET'S TALK ABOUT THIS. I am 47. My period and my emotions are both unpredictable. I want to go the natural route. I don't want to take a bunch of meds. I believe Barbara O'Neil has a book out there somewhere on Amazon. She talks about wild yam cream. And when the emotions hit and your heart and brain aren't in line go...no RUN to the Secret place and talk to our Father about it all. I Love you Amy. You've always inspired me to be my best. You are not alone in this journey. We can do ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS. He is STRONG when we are weak. Praying for you. And remember this is just another adventure. I’ll be 49 at the end of August and I’m in the thick of perimenopause. I also lost my mother, very unexpectedly, in December of 2022. So peri- plus grief plus single motherhood …has been a lot. I’m a roller coaster of emotions, low energy, anxious (to the nth degree), foggy in the brain. It’s no joke. But I try to remind myself that this is just another stage of womanhood. Like childbirth, it won’t last forever. As far as your content, I’d love to hear your perspective on this stage of life. It helps to talk to each other about it, I think

Hey girl. Love you and your videos. My heart is with you. I went through instant menopause in 98 with a total hysterectomy. Im 66 and still go through the ups and downs emotionally. We are also going through a timeline shift and it carries a lot of the same symptoms as well. Talk to God, be grateful for everything, and allow all the emotions to come when they come, and the crazy thing about menopause and the timeline shift, is some days you feel great, but the key is to allow yourself to feel however you feel at the moment, because 5 minutes later, you’ll have another one to deal with!! LOL. You’ll definitely make it through this, just breathe and live and love yourself 💕💕

This too shall pass! I went through it in my late 40''s. My main issue was sweating so much in the middle of the night. Those HOT FLASHES were no joke. I would have to change bedsheets nightly. I lost 10 pounds in 1 week. I was tired, very tired. I cried like there was no tomorrow. I went to the doctor because everything I read about and tried did not work for me. He put me on Estrogen and another pill. After 2 months, I became normal again, lol. Everything and every issue was calm. I still take them. Plus, B-12 gummies by Olly. This also helps with focusing! I am praying for you. Keep going but rest when the body tells you to. You got this! On the pink subject. I was never a pink person until 3 years ago. I love the color blush! I've noticed little changes like colors, make up and music preference.

I really appreciate you sharing your experience ~ it’s one thing to read and research a subject but another to discuss/watch the “real life” version. I really feel for the women before my generation who had absolutely no help or guidance (from the medical community) with this. All I know is I can’t describe how “I’m tired” doesn’t seem like strong enough words for how I feel. Need to get my vitamin D levels checked again. Mine was medically induced due to surgery in my mid 40s.❤ I still get hot flashes on occasion!🥵 Vitamins, (the one you got is good), 😊melatonin, berries, cherries 🍒 helped me somewhat since I couldn’t take hormones. Nap when you can, lol! I gained so much weight from menopause. Still struggling with losing it!🤦‍♀️ The blues, brain fog, all normal! You are not crazy!💕

    Yes please
    I'm going through it myself
And I'm struggling, my Doctor tells me I'm just gonna have to go through the motions. I already have other health issues so all the things that are available out there my doctors don't want me to take. There is a patch but it's to expensive. Hang in there I know how your feeling.

❤❤❤ Please, I would love to go through this Perimenopause and/or Menopause journey together. I am 43 years old and believe I’m going to through early stages of Perimenopause. I lost my mother 13 years ago to death from alcoholism so I never had a female role model or anything of the sort. I’m a mother of 7 kids (some full grown already) and I need female support/help/advice for myself. I choose to go through Perimenopause and Menopause naturally but I am always getting pushed to take medication for different things. Ugh!!! I just wish I could be heard and understood along with all women.
I love you vlogs and hauls 😊😊 You have also helped me understand how eating healthy foods and exercising is very helpful too.

I'm 51, I believe I've fully hit menopause last year at 50 (last period was in that year). My main symptom has been my skin is soooooo dry. I feel like I'm drying out, like I'm petrifying from head to toe. I was very emotional that year, but I thought was because my mom died & we didn't really expect it. I don't like getting older & I don't like drying out at all, but so far, I don't feel like I've had any severe symptoms. If I have, others may notice & I don't. Oh, on the crying issue, since I was a small child that has always been an issue. I can't even see a pet food commercial & am in tears. If I see an elderly person alone in public, I am in tears. For no reason as well. I cry several times a week & always have. You are not alone; it is very normal. I don't think you're going crazy. One positive thing to look forward to, no maxi or tampons anymore! Now that my dear is absolutely wonderful feeling! Yippy! 😜🍾🎉🎊

Hi Amy, I needed a video like this 8 years ago.You are not going crazy, I cried for no reason whatsoever all the time. But the worst of it was the night sweats. get a big fan. Doctor would not put me on estrogen because of cancer risks. I feel like I should have been on something, not sure what. You are in way better shape than I, and healthier. Hopefully it will not last long. 🙏🙏

Girl, you will be ok. Sorry, but menopause sucks. I think the emotions are the worst. So when you need to talk or share with us please do so. Cry if you feel like it, I know I've been there. Due to pre-cancer & family history I had a hysterectomy in my 40's and went into menopause overnight. I was miserable but I survived & I promise you will too. Hugs & love U.

The hot flashes are no joke. I'm 55 and I definitely notice if I eat processed sugar I get so many more hot flashes. I've noticed for me, since I want to go natural, my diet makes all the difference. No they don't talk about menopause as much as they should.

I think it would be a great idea to talk about it. It's something we all go through., and I think a lot of women who are going through it right now would be glad to know they are not alone in this and what they are feeling is normal. Even though they aren't alone it helps talking about it or hearing others experiences. I'm beyond that now, at 70, but I would have appreciated that when I was going through it. Let yourself cry if it hits you, don't hold it in. I still cry at the drop of a hat. I didn't use anything through it. I couldn't, but, there may be some who have and can make some suggestions. I'll be praying for you Amy. You're not alone. God Bless! 🙏🙏🙏🙌

Please don’t assume it is just perimenopause, I had all those symptoms and my B-12 level was in the gutter. Have your Dr run some vitamin, thyroid, iron tests on you just to be sure those are all ok. 😊

Amy, I say yes to talking about what you’re going through! You are crying because you are having to deal with the changes your body and aging. It’s so hard and you’re definitely not crazy, I had forced menopause due to breast cancer, but I was not ready for the menopause symptoms. Since you are going to a new ob/gyn, I wouldn’t start on too many supplements until til you get an opinion from them. I’m 70 now and can look back and know that you will get through this and reach out for help. It’s really all you can do💕

So sorry Amy. Hormonal imbalances can affect your whole sense of well being. Most doctors 30 plus years ago knew very little about how to help women…very very few female specialists. Find a really good specialist and they can look at your hormone levels and overall health and figure out what is best for you. Also, just a thought…if you have gradually stopped taking phentermine your body may be adjusting to that as well.
