Hmm... i think both of them have a good point. women learn to care through a socialization process wherein girls learn from their mothers and others that caring is women's work, a naturally feminine activity. until they reach a breaking point. at the same time, you got jaded or bored and start losing the interest. although, we don't want to be hurt anymore, we cannot guarantee there will never be pain or drama. Being in a loving long-term romantic relationship is one of the surest routes to long term happiness. But it doesn’t happen naturally, it requires certain skills.
I agree with Brittany, being single is not a bad thing, actually a good thing. I am way older than her, but I love being single, doing all kind of stuff I'm not able to do when in a relationship.
