Hold your horses! Borrasca was written in 2015 first post on reddit, 22 July 2015 is the reddit post, while The Lost Town of Deepwood Pennsylvania was 12 February 2014. So 1.5 years difference, enough to explain the reduced quality in writing. So don't throw out all her writing yet!

16:55 what Hunter said is exactly what negging is. The only difference between negging and a backhanded compliment is that negging is deliberate. "You look really good for a fat girl" is a backhanded compliment. So if you said this to someone with a deliberate intention of undermining their confidence, that's negging. The manipulation aspect of it is just that you're deliberately trying to make the person feel bad about themselves so it's easier for you to get what you want from them (because they lower their standards or because they need your approval, etc.)

@@rue6914 like and good aren't mutually inclusive.
I really like the star wars prequels, but they are really flawed movies.
@@justadude3789What saves the prequels for me is the Darth Maul fight. Perfect soundtrack to a flawless battle scene, I still get chills when I get to that part.
Borrasca V is a good pallet close after the harrowing experience of the first 4 parts.
Thanks for the super gay observation.
@@Bungowumperpussmisinformation is gay.
Either way, fantastic moment 😂😂😂

This feels like a prime example of sometimes extra stories just aren't necessary. I feel like the first one would have been a fantastic standalone. There was good elements in the followups but nothing as great as the original story
A very strong shift, as if the beginning was written by one person and the rest by another
I couldn't find strong elements in sequels 😂
@@odium3006seems to be a trend by the author, given the huge shift between borrasca pt 1-4 and pt 5
I despise stories that end on cliff hangers like that and never expand, of course this was not a good expansion
Thats what I'm saying, people are shit talking the author but this happens constantly where there's a great story and the author ties it off nicely but readers demand more so the continuation ends up almost as a "fuck you" cause honestly the author is pressured to ruin their art.
I like the part where this story is a unrecoverable fan fiction about a spooky childhood experiment and is mutated beyond concern and uses the broasca clout to force you into a unwanted anime victory arc
Man the boyfriend went from "let's avoid the woods" to "LET'S PILLAGE THE HAUNTED CHURCH" instantly huh

"Generational" has gotta be one of the worst new buzzwords in a while.
@@SleepyChloeFist I get the same feeling when people say buzzword

You can tell Hunter has a passion for 80s hair metal and power ballads lol. He loves singing it, and he has a great voice for it.
He has a metal band of his own

I hope you guys know Borassca 5 is exactly like the second half of this story. The villain is straight up a comic book nefarious mustache twirler. Can't wait for yall to read it
3:10:23 the squeaky toy in the background really solidified the ending. It was also my dog’s favorite part.
My dog too!! I didn't notice until I saw him staring at my phone 😂
The last part isn't meant to be a comedy; it's meant to be played serious. "Borrasca V" is written the exact same way, but it takes 5 hours to read through it. Reason I've recommended _against_ "Borrasca V" it since the pod started.
I’m actually suspecting the author is a troll
it's so painful to read through. for their own sanity I hope they decide against it
Am I completely misremembering Borrasca V? I read it a few months ago and loved it. But after listening to this…
@@thishonestgrifter It's possible. Did you read it or listen to a narration? Did you pay full attention? Did you by chance listen to the audio drama and assume it was the exact same as "I-IV" and "V" but in a different format? (None of these are meant to be accusatory; rather, I've ran into people praising "Borrasca V" enough times where they either just listened to the audio drama or a narration that they didn't dedicate full focus to and ended up getting so much of the story wrong in their heads.)
@@Unregistered.HyperCam.2i think this is exactly what happened to me as i listend to an audio drama of it. i still think that it was kinda goofy at times tho
Hunter screaming the lyrics to 4 different AC/DC songs as a background soundtrack had me in tears. Second funniest moment to happen on Creepcast
