- Just when you thought SUVs couldn't get any bigger or more luxurious BMW lobs in the seven-seat X7. Literally made in America, it's pitched directly at Audi's similarly super-sized Q7 and the Mercedes-Benz GLS. James finds out how it compares.

I love BMW X7 so much
Where's the Richard Berry?
$500 for cooled/heated cup holders? Bring back polystyrene!!!🤣
Love it! What a machine. Much better than an Audi or a Mercedes Benz.
If I'm sitting in a car, I want my own door, or at least openable window, to be able to get out in case of an accident.
This will be $20,000 in a year or two - look at Gumtree and Second Hand BMW Vehicles - complete junk after 60,000 K’s nothing but sensor and engine problems, oil leaks, unrealible junk that can be picked up for 1/5th it’s original market value in record time! 😂👌🏻
9:35 “air suspension” hits a bump and the whole car seems to shake to bits 😂
I got to 160,000 Ks before I started getting issues
Sean record holder right here :P
Made in America? No thanks.
Afraid so. From the X3 all the way to the X7, they are all made in BMW's South Carolina plants. I have an (F15) X5 and it's surprisingly well put together. But some of the steering wheel buttons' soft touch coating started to peel in some places after 4yrs and I had to replace the entire eBrake/Auto Hold centre console switch/button after 6yrs. Thankfully it was only a $130 part - did all the labour myself.
@@HammerRocks Good you're savvy like that coz I think that's what lots of these European based car companies prey on is that they can make profit margins at the service centres. It's like Audi n VW, I used to work closely with them. They have the most nonsensical wing mirror design & they pretty much snap off! The Amarok ones don't even fold in, they just twist up leaving the same clearance as when they're folded open - bizzare for a 4wd! Staff were forever breaking them & they're not exactly cheap to repair.
