- A Location Guide on Collecting All Wizard Cards On Harry Potter And The Philosophers Stone PS1 (Playstation 1)
(NO COMMENTARY)
There are 3 verions of Philosophers stone (PC, PS1, PS2) i currently have done PC & PS1 so hopefully soon will get around to the PS2 version.
Played on Duckstation Emulator With PGXP on. Apart from texture correction as it causes glitchy textures.
Alot of the textures in this gameplay are a little glitchy but seems to be no fix regardless of emulator, Duckstation also fixes the 'Screen Wobble' which is very noticable on PS1 Games.

All famous witched and wizard cards for Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone PS1 (Playstation 1) / Harry Potter and the Sorcerers stone PS1.
The final card (Harry Potter) is obtained by collecting all previous wizard cards. On my gameplay my nVidia Capture software missed it and save file was glitched to actually get footage of getting the card when i tried to revert back so be careful using an emulator, i'd of liked to of replayed to get the footage but it literally took 2 afternoons to complete this so maybe i will replay to get!

No problem! There is something creepy about Gringotts in this game, Gringotts was definatly the hardest bit to do aswell! 😄

I wanted to go back and 100% this since I never did as a kid. But after seeing those Gringott challenges I don’t think so anymore.
That explains why i did not have the 100% on my gameplay, did not cared the gringotts gems,... should have known better lol.

Ahh damn, all except the Gringotts gems, which you can't get back to, I guess
I just played this game on a modern samsung smart tv and was so confused how come your game looked so clean and not so dark and heavy and grainy then i saw that you have run this on a 4k emulator which explains a lot. :)
Haha yeah it was run on duckstation emulator! It doesn't convert perfectly, some stages require resetting the settings else it clips and doesn't render properly, in my longplay i kept changing them when i went through different areas to suit :)
@@Par8dox Kinda wish i knew how to do that kind of stuff with emulators cause this looks amazing, not sure how it would feel with controls when you are used to a controller rather than a keyboard, but still that almost looks like a pretty decent remaster if you ask me, looks really good! :)
Only one thing I didn't understand: what's the point of collecting them all? Is there access to any extras or anything? 🤔
I remember PC had a secret ending, i can't remember if PS1 did, but i guess the point to say you've done it! 😬

I don't recall ever seeing Harry with a white wand when I played this game or watched any other walkthroughs. Can you explain why he sometimes has a white wand in this version you are playing?
Because its on an emulator, sometimes the textures get abit messed up as its rendering in 4k rather than the 360p it was built for
Can you retry getting the gems after getting the coins (Since the goblin asks if you want to go again) or do you have to do both at once?
Yes, but only when the goblin asks if you want to have another go. He'll ask you this every time you reach the end, by the way. But you cannot revisit the vaults after you exit them.

I've searched every Hogwarts secret rooms and challenges and still got 17/18 cards. I don't know what else was left to do. I've saved once I get all gems at gringotts cart challenge, got all 3 cards necessary. Still... I'm not sure what's left...
Hi, I also got all 17 before the final fight. This seems to be the requirement to get the 18th card after the final battle, however I didn't get the HP card :(
Does anyone know why in gringots bank in main cart number two when you collect silver coin are missing 12 gems. In one part of mine is simply missing gems, I look in youtube video and they are there. I can only collect 43 gems and I don't get a wizard card. I don't understand. Is problem in game or what? Please hep
You must collect all the coins in those moments where the gem icon appears. Then you’ll have the chance to catch some gems :)
Collect all the coins during the ride, that’s the 100% way

How do you play with this graphics?
Using the PC emulator 'DuckStation' you can change the graphics to 4k and even 8k
I can't even get the required money to advance. Chart minigame is bullshit, I give up.

15/18 Wizard Cards here, absolutely HATED the Gringotts Minecart. Hogwarts Legacy does that much better.
Chamber of Secrets has a better minigame with the degnoming imho.
