But Vince splitted it into upper and lower, as he believed training full body everyday is overworking, as well as workouts going on for longer than 45 minutes would destroy testosterone in a natural lifter. Also he recommended 6x6 for regular people instead, unless you are big and on competition level. He had full body workouts, but only with 3 sets per exercise and body part afaik and only for beginners.
I do full body all the time.. I'm doing 4 sets, 8-10 reps, 2 exercises per body part now. When I am cutting weight, i do 6 sets of 8-10 reps, 30 seconds rest, 2 exercises per body part. I may try ramping this up to 8 sets. I have about 5 guys switched over to full body workouts 3 days a week. 4 have started and love it, One asked me about my workouts last night at the gym. He is going to start doing them on Wed. I love full body.. Great Video
Okay nice. It would be a great service if the full body workout was mentioned on a whiteboard or in any written form on the screen. I would make a snapshot of it. Anyways we have to do our homework as well. These guys are legends. I’m gonna write it down for myself. Full body workout 7 exercises each 8 sets of 8 reps (30 sec. pause between sets) Legs, back, chest, shoulders (including some isolation exercises) What more do I want. Correct me if I’m wrong.
I really love the variety of videos you upload, I always learn something from these types of videos and am amazed as well as inspired by the beasts like Julius and James.
I started today I'll be doing 1 round leg press, incline machine press, lat pulldown, machine shoulder press, cable push down , cable curls, then I did lower back machine and machine calf raises. Round 2 leg extensions leg curls dumbbell incline press, dumbbell rows , dumbbell shoulder press, dumbbell tricep extension, hammer curls, then lower back machine and calf raises. Does that sound about right. I do feeder workout for my shoulder at night that why I didn't do side lateral raise. Also the first 4 reps hold 3 second and lower 5 count
Love the content you are putting out, my results since following your work on here and your books have sky rocketed. Thank you! Out of interest did you notice any strength loss (or even gain) after this style of training?
I’ve loved running this program but I also want to get back into PL movements. Do you have any suggestions on combining a program like 531 and this 8x8 scheme?
I can't understand how this is not the top channel in strength and fitness. Old school, proven results and a coach who delivers results.
Appreciate ya!
We totally share your sentiments brother!

Great video. Question do you think the 8 × 8 could be used in push pull legs workouts?
What 7 exercises would you recommend as an example for me to try as the first time using this method?
See the abbreviated version of this video all listed in description

Josh Bryant I went all the way down and did not see anything. I am currently on a similar routine as rest goes anyway, this would be a nice change up
Is it suitable for gaining strength???
www.amazon.com/Jailhouse-Strong-Off-Season-Powerlifting-Program-ebook/dp/B07V5CV1FR. This is altered to do so, that is in itself no
I’ve loved running this program but I also want to get back into PL movements. Do you have any suggestions on combining a program like 531 and this 8x8 scheme?
I would do them separate in different phases
Josh, 50% of what you can do? Of a 8RM? In another video you said 40-50% 1RM?!
Would M, W, & F allow enough rest?
Is it 8x8 done once?
YES SIR!!!!!!!!
Josh Bryant
love your content. question: can you write out a sample workout utilizing the 8x8 concept
These 7 exercises
Safety Squats, hammer strength incline, lat pulldowns, lateral raises, chest supported row, dumbbell floor pause trip ext, fat bar curls
Who is the trainer. Im just wondering. He is massive
The guy in video I am training is JJ Horne

56 sets? is it not 64 sets?
7 exercises 8 sets
Yeah, why is it called 8x8 and not 7x8?
because its 8 sets of 8 reps, it has nothing to do with # of exercises
because its 8 sets of 8 reps, it has nothing to do with # of exercises
