- This is the quickest way to level up your Pokémon and get to Level 100 in Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu! and Let's Go Eevee! I discovered this method last night and was up until 7am researching this, I explain EVERYTHING, I explain how multipliers increase the amount of experience you get from catching Pokémon, and any questions let me know in the comment section down below!

FOR EVERYONE TRYING TO DO THIS, make sure the second player is just using regular Pokeballs, the game only cares about the highest ball out of the two and it's a waste to use ultra balls when not needed.

I seem to get first throw everytime with both ultra balls, thats not even with a perfect throw. Takes about 3 perfects with ultra and pokeball to catch a Chansey for me, and i've lost a few combos from trying it.
Remlap Remlap im guessing this has to do with the catch bonuses. My chansey catch circles are orange because i havent caught enough of them and sent them to professor oak. Ultra plus pokeball will work after ive sent 50 to 100 of them to oak to help turn the circle green.
A tip if you are by yourself put both joy con in a grip

@@yourbadkid7979 when you throw you get a catching bonus if both balls are in sync and since theyre in the grip its pretty much guaranteed they'll be in sync

I use the basic controller grip that came with the switch and just hold the middle part when I do the throws. Synchronized every time.
My highest exp is 90,000!! Oh and a tip:
HAVING A LEVEL ONE HUNDERED POKEMON IN THE FRONT OF YOUR TEAM WILL DECREASE THE DIFFICULTY OF CHANSEY FOM THE YELLOW AND ORANGE RING, TO A GREEN RING.

Note: I leveled up my Arcanine to lvl 100 and put him in front of my Party.
Results: Chansey remained unchanged and still Orange/Red Rings.
Its how many you caught IT gets easier from Orange to yellow to Green caught about 100 and no matter what pokemon is infront of my Team i always have a Green circle

I just got 55,260 xp from one 33 chain great throw, first throw, synchronized bonus, combo bonus and size bonus (small) bonus multiplier was 45.0
Lol just got it again 37 chain (XL this time)

This is so helpful for when I get the game and get the Pokédex and stuff or I level up shiny I have thank you, you always have the best guides I remover watching your omega ruby and alpha sapphire play through and following it because I was horrible at Pokémon back then lol
If you use the controller that you can attach the joy cons to. It makes 2 player catch easier

a place i leveled up to 65 easily was in cinnibar island catching a chaining magmars. it can be done as soon as u get ur surf seecret tech. Makes the gyms an easy walk through and the elite 4 a pushover.
On route 17 with a lure I find chanseys pretty often, didn’t know this method though and definitely trying it out!! :3

you can use a more consistent method by catching graveler in Cerulean cave. i've gotten 48k exp from combos and since they easier to catch you can save money and since they consistent they are easier to catch and they offer a good way to chain that gives decent exp while shiny hunting also they don't move around as much and they give only slightly less EXP then Chansey does. i find it more consistent IMO. if you don't have much money and your post game good alt honestly
plus they spawn super quickly.
I've started to notice that past 50 combo, Chansey approaches 100% capture chance (despite the orange ring) as long as I get a synchronized excellent throw. Thanks for showing me where to grind EXP. It'll make challenging the master trainers so much easier.

Those Chanseys are dangerous! I forgot which Pokémon game it was but I used to play one of them and idk if it was an elite four member or a gym leader or something but they had a Blissey and it was so powerful. It kept knocking out my Pokémon. 😅

You can get all 3 fossils from the big crystal in this room, the big crystal by the pool on route to Mewtwo - as well as the platform just before the water surrounding Mewtwo - I've got around 20 fossils and hope to get 50 and try get a shiny fossil Pokemon!

Combo caps at 41+
Here's another helpful tip. Every pokemon have two battle animations. Go to your dex. Choose the pokemon you want, In this case Chansey. Check data. And click twice. If you see the wild Chansey do the second animation, it means it's about to run. It may be better to run after the first ball fails when your combo is above 31, but I give it a few more tries early in the combo just so I can get the chain up.

Even if this isn’t possible without beating the game, you can still get some special spawns of Chansey in the route after Lavender to DESTROY Erika.

Fun little extra to guarantee first throw points! Have two level 100 pokemon in your party in the first slots and the Chansey has a green ring around it! I had a combo of about 65 yesterday all first throws! Levelled up about 8 other pokemon from low level to 100
@PDWinnall Comments on your video. 1st - you can get dome or helix fossils regardless of what you chose. 2nd - You can also find old amber. 3rd - The dome and helix fossils always drop from the most central shiny circle against the stalagmites.
Want to add that good early to mid game leveling (that is before the game is beaten) is to chain ponyta. Helped me beat the game much quicker!
I figured this out yesterday doing a combo catch of 200 on growlithe. I haven't gone for my 3rd badge and my pokemon are lvl 65+
How can You afford the Poke Balls? I ran out after catching 53 Bellsprout, 12 Rattata and 9 Nidoran, or something like that anyway.

I also catch rhydon, graveler, golbat and golduck (S and L) of course, they give you 5-10k experience on the first catch, plus tons of all sorts of candy
Interesting way to do it. I just put a pokemon in the pokeball plus, then put it in a little machine thing I made that walks the pokemon for a three hours while I do other things, and the pop the pokemon back in the game, and it's LV 100.
If you’re having trouble catching Chansey with two joycon, (like you mentioned before) how much of an impact would you have catching it in handheld mode? (Like you suggested for people struggling)
Haha. That is funny that is what I did but as early as route 6. I got lucky and got like 30 Chanseys in 30 minutes and got like 50k exp pretty early on.

I found a few other places that are rich with Chancey. Also max lures only increases the time the lure is active, doesn’t increase Pokémon spawn

Thanks for the video. I can see why so many people recommend Chansey. I wonder if there's a better Pokemon though. Chansey is just annoying the crap out of me. I barely break 11,000 exp at times because they continually break out of ultra balls. I have a combo of 15 I think right now. And one time did I get the First throw bonus. Usually takes two maybe three throws. So most of the exp has been like 5 or 6,000. It's really irritating as I'm trying to level up the entire roster of Pokemon to 100. Anyway, thanks for the video.

For everyone watching if you haven't beat the game go to Pokemon Mansion and catch as many Koffing as you can, it really helped me when getting my mew to level 1 to level 30 in less than 30min I recommend using a lur or going to higher stair rails if you caught all the Koffing you want than go catch some pigeot (hoped this helped)

I got a 72x multiplier on my 130th Chansey. It was an XL Chansey w/ first throw excellent throw technique bonus synchronise bonus and new size record plays a part too. I got 86k exp.
Maybe I’m a bit late to the party to mention this, but you can get every fossil regardless of which you picked up at Mt Moon. I have already gotten 2 helix fossils, 2 old ambers, and a dome fossil this way.
Also run away from the battle when chansey kind of attacks with both hands instead of one it has saved me a few catch combo
ive done this for maybe an hour and all my pokemon went from early 60s and late 50s all the way to all 80s thanks man
I've only been playing this game for 1 week and filled the pokedex, and became the champion. Almost have a level 100 pokemon because of this strategy.

The type of fossils you find in Cerulean Cave are random, it doesn't matter what fossil you chose in Mt Moon
I got 67,500 from this method, successful throw, GREAT throw, synchronized bonus, combo bonus of around 63, and size(huge) all a bonus of 54. AWESOME!!!!

Just a note: The fossil you choose in the beginning does not change what you get from the crystal on the first floor!
I picked Kabuto, and my third pick up of the crystal that spawns the fossils gave me a dome fossil, i have yet to pick up a Helix
Well Kabuto is the dome fossil and not Helix, so this isn't proof for not being able to get all fossils regardless of your choice in Mt Moon, but it doesn't matter you can get all 3.
Just so people know you can get both dome and helix fossils from the sparkiling spots i just found both

i was doing what you were saying,picked up an item in the shiny spot like nothing,and got a MASTER BALL on the FIRST try
Using both controllers and a huge combo (I ended at over 120 chain) when catching Vulpix I was able to get a 72.0 Bonus Multiplier.

are there any tips for throwing when playing docked with two joycons? When the pokemon is in the middle its fine enough but once they jump to the side it is so difficult to get excellent throws
If you want do this faster but for less xp, catch raticates in the pokemon mansion. They spawn like crazy on the top floor and they don’t move left and right so they’re easier to catch

at around 7:45 you have a chansey which has a green ring.. I'm doing the same thing but all of mine are yellow/orange. does it get easier when your pokemon get higher level? or a higher combo? I really don't understand the catch rate in these games.
From what I've been reading on Reddit you get a 100% catch chance after you've caught a Pokemon 100+ times (even with a Poke ball). On the video (around the 6 minute mark) you see he has a yellow ring when catching his 99th Chansey, then near the end of the video it's green as he's caught over 100. I really like this feature.
i have not finshed but surely this is just to say you have done it. I mean, if you can only access this area after the elite 4, then you do not need to battle anymore so in a way, it is pointless
I've tried using the joycon grip so the motion is the same on both joycons
or for a synchronize bonus just put both joycons in the pro controller and they will throw at the same time
Do you have to have ultra balls in both players or just one ultra and another pokeball? ; Does throwing 2 ultra balls increase the chance of capture or is it the same as p1 ultraball and p2 pokeball?
Just in one hand works just as good, that's atleast from personal experience.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong, but I can never get the Chansey to stay in on the first throw (even though I make excellent throws with the two joycons). Also, if I don't use lures, there is nothing but Golbat/Rhydon/Lickitung spawning. Only caught 1 Chansey in ~45 minutes... Any tips would be appeciated!
They have extra experience for catches in this game, re-battling trainers, re-battling gym leaders, re-battling the elite four, extra experience for combos.... And everybody was worried about how they would grind if there were no wild battles. Oh also did I mention the legendary Pokemon still have the same type of wild battles except there buffed and you have to catch them? Yeah. Oh also you can catch legendarys in the wild.
How does catching Pokémon work with ev. Not trying to play competitive or anything but want my Pokémon strong
I do not have Pokemon Switch yet. I am planning on it being on my list for Next Christmas. I know a vary big wait, but... The same goes for Let's go Pikachu and Eevee. If you are playing by yourself, and have only 1 game, how can you do the sync game, or is it really impossible. I am the only one in my family who would probably play on the switch, and the only Pokemon player in the house.
I usually stick with hand held games, although I might want to watch it on the tv screen.
I would assume that you would only get 1 controller.per switch, making a second controller, not likely.
Those glimmering areas actually do have a chance of having a master ball
I dont think legendaries should be transferable to lets go, just what I want to do is battle a x6 mewtwo team or something. Most peoples area isn't good for GO because of their area, so there's no raiding at all. Huge advantage to city people.
They transfer to the game at level 20 so it's not as broken
@@jebus211 that doesn't make it less broken. Anyone with 5 mewtwos will have no issues getting them to 100 to battle with
@@StregaBDO it's not like everyone has a bunch of them, even with them being introduced as a five star the better part of a month. Also the ivs are diluted and you could, idk, NOT transfer them over until you beat the game. If you think it's broken then don't do it
Um, as far as I know, staying after a miss does not increase the chance of them running away. It is the same whether or not it is the first throw.

If you check the tail of pikachu/eevee, the master ball tactic is easier
