I think "ir a tu bola" is similar to "I am taking my soccer ball and going home" in English! Thank you for the slang lesson. - Dave

Tengo una pregunta en mi espanol basico;
Tu pais es tan hermoso, por qué tu vives en alemania?
nice
i have a question. i speak english but want to learn spanish. is it better to learn spanish without knowing the translation in english? or is knowing the word better? for example reading a spanish book i have no idea what the words mean etc
There’s no harm in using your English. It gives you a massive advantage since there are an unbelievable amount of cognates between English and Spanish
If you’re a total beginner you will need English to understand the concepts I would assume. As long as you make progress do what it’s easier for you :)
Try reading a book or article in Spanish with the English version side by side. Read a paragraph at a time in Spanish before looking at the English. You will rapidly build up your Spanish vocabulary without having to look up words in a dictionary. Looking up words without using English, in a monolingual Spanish dictionary for example, is something you can do later once you've built up a good Spanish vocabulary. As a beginner look up Spanish words in English because you'll instantly get the concept. The long term goal is to avoid translating and think in Spanish as much as possible. Starting with translating will get you to that point.
I would suggest using Comprehensible Input. This means watching videos or reading books where you understand most of what is being said. Take a look at the Super Beginner videos on the Dreaming Spanish TH-cam channel.
Tus pelos se ven hermoso! (Es correcto? :D)

¿Por qué los españoles dicen “enfadarse” y los latinos dicen “enojarse”?
