  • Kaleb's Farm run by retired teacher Kathleen Eustache-Bascombe is "a sanctuary" hidden away in the village of Santa Cruz in Trinidad & Tobago. As the sun came up and the mist rolled over the hills on a rainy morning, we took a tour of the farm with Kathleen to get an appreciation for the diverse range of produce grown at Kaleb's.

"Kaleb's Organics as our name implies is an organic company that believes in sustainability and preservation of life. As such all our produce are organically grown without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
Our crops are grown in our very own organic compost. We produce our own seedlings , and add biological fertilizers to the soil to help preserve it for future generations.
We utilize crop rotation and integrated pest management strategies to combat pest problems. We are a completely organic company that produces the following products: Kaleb's Organic Produce which are our organically grown vegetables. Kaleb's Organics Compost; which we produce from vegetable peelings and other biological material and Kaleb's Organics Food Baskets; which is a collection of our organic produce packaged together."

I encourage you to promote chemical free gardening . This is awesome for this retired teacher in Santa Cruz. My wife and I do the same Organic vegetable garden in Toronto Canada in the late spring Summer months. Keep up the good work in Organic farming in Santa Cruz. TT.

    Excellent content again.
    "The Cruz." Beautiful place.
It's clear that this lady is doing this from her heart with love.
Comments of GMO are so disrespectful.
As Tabitha Brown says if you can't have a good day, don't you dare go messing up someone else's.
