Yes they have no excuse now,they can easily have the most interiors of any gta fame before. Going into random houses to rob them would be pretty fun,especially if you get caught and the owner has a gun too.

I really just want the next game to actually have single-player DLC (paid or otherwise), since the game is likely going to stick around for a decade. They've been making money hand over fist with GTA5 online for years, but basically nothing was added to offline play.
I would like to see more random chaotic events with the npc's. Car crashes, fights, police chases, riots and stuff, to make it more lively. You had some good pionts tho, hope they will implement it
@@zebatov Fun fact that was the original plan for GTA V's dispatch system Instead of artificially spawning cops, the game will grab the nearest police npc and task them to chase you, idk how SWAT and helis would've worked but i assume they prob wanted them to start from the police station, FBI HQ, military base and drive/fly to your position that way. You can technically re-create this, by removing all cops from dispatch spawn pool and just include them in regular traffic. SWAT and helicopters get bit tricky unless your good with Scenarios in CodeWalker
I would love back the jobs: Taxi, Fire, EMT, police. In gta 4 the cops jobs were very fun. I would also love to bring back the friend dates and girlfriends.
@@micahwest2793 I can see why. I like them because you got to learn more about the characters outside of Missions. There were also perks to be had when befriending someone such as Dwayne sending two guys over to help you on missions, Kiki getting rid of your wanted level, etc.
The best part of the character switch mechanic in GTA V was finding out where 2 characters were located, and then flying in a plane with one over the head of the other, and then switching back to the one on the ground and watching the plane crash from their POV. Some of the most fun I had in single player mode.
@@bobjoe5937 I think if they develop the campaign from the ground up as co-op then they'll always have a reason to keep updating. I don't really have co-op friends, but if GTAVI "single-player" allowed for 2-4 player co-op but also worked just the same in single player, then I'd have no problem with it. I know a lot of people like co-op and typically I don't mind playing co-op style games solo (not every game, but generally it's fine) so I think they can make it work. Especially if we can specialize our campaign characters to have proficiencies in various skills rather than just stamina driving flying etc.
Thats not happening. You’ll honestly be lucky to even see this game come to fruition in your life time. I think they spent the last 10 years trying to figure out how they could nickel and dime us and know that they might have figured it out. They have now started on the game. Ill say in 6-8 years we will get an announcement
I was always one to love buying properties in different parts of the world in San Andreas as their were tons to purchase. Something that I haven't seen replicated in following games. San Adreas really did have everything
That's why GTA V is so dang frustrating. There was so much more to do in San Andreas, but it was a PS2 era game!!! Remember the import/export cars thing where you had to operate the crane in San Fiero? The casinos? Driveable trains? Like, where the hell did all that go? If they could do all that with the PS2, there is no excuse on HD era systems!
Map Density > Map Size Too many open world games have large maps that are mostly empty and not much to interact with throughout the large expanse of the map. I really wish games would make medium sized open worlds or even return to small linear maps with loading zones between maps but each map has a lot more density in amount of interiors and interactivity.
I'd say bring back the damage model from GTA IV. A meelee combat system similar to Sleeping Dog's would be nice. Also, being able to put enemies, NPCS, etc into the trunks/back of vehicles. Also, more destructible environments.
A mix out Sleeping Dogs and RDR2 would be incredible insane GOOD!!! Thought I was the only guy who things Sleeping Dogs was a masterpiece and the only true GTA competitor. Damn I install this game now 😂
The Warriers was allot like sleeping Dogs before Sleeping,dogs was a Thing. Hand to hand like Warriers, stealth like manhunt and Gunplay like Maxpayne 3, Exploration and detail like RDR2, and the amount of things to do like In San andreas. A branching story line also having more of an impact on the open world.
I honestly think they should incorporate more purchasable safe houses like San Andreas did with a variety of different safe houses from a beach house to the country house in the hills to the mansion in Los Venturas. Would also love to have the option to select the players personal vehicle to an extent
I’d like to see more destructibility physics. Chunks getting taken out of walls. Bridges collapsing etc and perhaps they could be repaired by npcs afterwords
Gang warfare would be so good, but it was pretty small in san andreas. it should last longer and have bigger turfs, special perk building or smt. I agree that gta 5 lacks different interiors, theres too small variety.
I would like them to bring back better physics like they had with GTA IV & give us single player folks more to do when the game ends instead of ditching dlc in favour of online. I liked the story in V ok but IV was so much better. I hope they incorporate and evolve a lot of the random encounter type scenarios we got in Red Dead 2 to make the world feel more lived in, like your presence there matters to the npcs for better or worse. More interiors with actual reasons for being in them other than to buy clothes or eat food. Will be interesting to see what we get from the new Rockstar now that many integral staff members have left.
Gta5 story was awful lol. But I agree, I want the grittiness of gta4 to come back, but I really doubt that'll happen. The focus will be online and I'm very skeptical of gta6.
They can tell a good story. look at Red Dead 2, great story, stellar protagonist & a cast who could deliver. I hope they don't dumb things for the next GTA in that regard. Build upon solid foundations, if online is going to be a huge focus for them going forward as we know it will be, allocation of resources should be factored in but don't give us a dull empty sandbox & expect to build upon through your online component. I have faith in Rockstar. They have never delivered a dud, some titles better than others, but always entertaining. The GTA Definitive edition was piss poor, but they farmed that out to another developer who didn't put the work in. Shame they did nothing special with the Red Dead Redemption port but make it available on systems that have or will soon be moving on in the form of PS5 & whatever they call the upcoming Switch successor. I will be happy with a good story, good characters, good mechanics, good physics, an interesting world which can be smaller but needs to keep us interested & don't lose focus because of the cash online brings in.
Another thing which I don't think they had in any other GTA is transportation, you should be able to ride taxies, buses, trains, plains,Blimps. Its perfect for multiplayer, because the players could race each other (like in TG) car vrs train.
In response to your first point, I understand the desire for six star wanted level, but I am a big fan of Red Dead 2's immersive realism. It is the thing that I look forward to seeing the most in GTA 6. Better vehicle collision damage and stuff like that.

it needs to be more gta4 in relation to vehicle mechanics and collisions. it feels like the ragdoll mechanics also (in gta V) was much less realistic and alot less dynamic than they were in gta4... i loved the vibe of gta4, it was a huge refreshement in the gaming industry at the time.
Also, I enjoyed being limited to what weapons I have on me. It'd be nice to store our weapons in the trunk of our car. (like our horse...) Or a duffle bag to transport weapons and equipment to job sites out in public. Online would benefit too, now little timmy can't pull 15 thousand bullshit weapons out of his ass to fight. Not having access to rpgs and explosives on the regular would make pvp more fun, we could use our vehicle as mobile cover. Gangs need to return, I always thought online would be better if we could join a gang every time we switch lobbies. It'd play out like san andreas but it'd give players more reason to grief or help players. The current system of making your own gang is nice....but that's all anyone does. Then most just have one or two members. They could do territory wars like how folk do alien wars....just directed by R* to give us proper direction instead of random chaotic rules little timmy thinks up.
I’d really just like more things to do when the story is over like there was only so much car moding and races I could do before I got bored, and definitely places you can go inside and drive things
In rdr2 there was a good amount of simple side activities you could do, I’m pretty sure there will be a lot more in GTA 6 as from all the leaks we’ve seen, all the good features from rdr2 are also in GTA 6 and improved
I just hope them taking so long to create 6 is making sure I can walk into every building. I was always impressed as a kid by how much things I can do away from the main storyline. That was impressive. I could play San Andreas for months without remembering that I have a story to play 😂😂😂
I agree. I want to be able to go through the drive through to fastfood restaurants and use my mic to order foods that I see on the menu. Where your friend is on the passenger laughing while you order food. The food gives health/energy boosts. Seafood restaurants for best booosts. We have to get food in between missions for energy. Having game play that requires a mic. An airport mall. And to stand in line for the beginning process of traveling on a plane. I want random online gameplay that can happen. Also 2 player access like GTA Sa.
I want them to bring back the dating mechanic from gta 4. Where you could date using a dating app. But to go deeper, if you make the relationship strong enough, your dating partner could aid you in heists or side missions in the story. Maybe be a getaway driver or let you crash at their house if police are at yours. Kind of like a Bonnie & Clyde sort of thing.
I agree with most of the list. They really just need to bring back to goofy aspects of the older games. I grew up playing GTA 3 and GTA SA and really miss the weird side things you could do and interact with. It was so fun getting fat or gaining muscle, increasing stats, playing around with cheats, etc.
@@Cpt_NoHand the game can be as realistic as possible. They should add fun cheats and stuff though. The older games were serious but had fun Easter eggs and cheats. Jetpack cheat, tank cheat, funny plane cheats, cheats that affect NPC's (like them joining your side and beating the shit out of anyone who doesn't), etc. The problem is that Saints Row sucks ass and there hasn't been a Bully game in 15 years lol I want it to be realistic but have some fun stuff for those who seek them out.
i think the switch scenes with the characters being in the middle of nowhere or in a really messed up circumstance like a police chase or shootout was a really fun part because i was always excited to switch to trevor he is just a loose cannon that always gave me a smile. in short i hope they keep the wild random interactions when switching characters.
I agree as well. I think they did it well, that unless you leave the other character idle for too long, its possible for you to even find the other one. Although I agree with that car thing. They really could always leave you car somewhere near if you were driving it beforehand. Maybe also leave you option to keep the same clothes on.
Personally I think the swap scenes in 5 were pretty well implemented. They gave me laughs, told me something about the character, and kept me immersed enough that when I did find myself frustrated with something, that frustration was directed at the characters. Probably because the situations were relatively unique, like you wouldn't find Michael or Franklin in the same situations as Trevor (though, yes you'll find both Michael and Franklin driving in the city but they both live there and it *is* a very American car-dependent city :P)
The thing that I always wanted in GTA 5 that I hope we get in GTA 6... Like picking horses in Red Dead 2, that we have the ability to set the default vehicle. Nothing frustrated me more than taking the time to customize vehicles for characters and not be able to use them in certain missions because I know they disappear and they're replaced by the default vehicle. Honestly, it could be awesome if your default vehicle starts has some POS... And it's part of the story element that you have to find and improve your vehicles as you going along.
I Hope that we get basically a modern gta 4 (physics, activities, different ways to finish missions etc.) and all the kind of stuff you had in GTA Sa like customizing the character doing burglary etc and a map that isn’t only big but has something of interest in each place.
I loved the weight gain/eating/exercise stuff! It just made the world feel more real, and the negatives were barely anything. Would love more stuff like that to be in GTA 6! (also, was it just me, or was the audio a bit echo-y today?)
I think were getting gyms back. There were a list of events in the game where some were listed with the words “gym” or “workout”. For instance, apparently there’s gonna be a random event located at a gym. And the other event was called a “workout challenge”.
It would affect how you play NOW though. In SA in didn’t affect anything… But I’m sure you played RDR2 where you have to eat and whatnot unless there are affects. I can imagine in GTA that would be more effect.. if you’re fat you can only run for 4 seconds/slower. Stuff like that
Rockstar should definitely look at Yakuza to see how they can make their city feel more interactive and believable. Have interiors you can freely enter like restaurants, pool spots, bowling alleys, etc. so the shooting and driving doesn’t feel mundane. Hell even allowing us to sit on a park bench does a lot for immersion
Controversial but I want the friend dates back. I know you could still do them in GTA V but much like real life, I don't call my friends because I don't like to bother them. I know it's a meme at this point but I liked it in GTA IV when folks like Roman or Patrick would call you up asking to go bowling and all that. Plus a further addendum, I want Bowling back entirely. I miss that particular mini game so much, I think it's because I'm a Bowling nut in real life.
Honestly, GTA 5 should have had the friends calling us feature from gta 4. Many people had problems with that feature from gta 4, But those conversations give a lot more depth to the characters. I recently went back and played all of gta 5 and did frequently hung out with the characters in the game. These optional conversations were way more serious and gave a lot of depth to Michael, Trevor and franklin. In one of the conversations, Michael sincerely apologizes to Trevor for betraying and running away and in return Trevor apologizes for being the way he was and how it probably influenced Michael's decision to run away. Seriously, Rockstar should have included these moments in the main story, But instead they made these as optional conversations.
Replayed GTA4 recently and I liked having people call Niko, but the frequency of calls could be reduced slightly, only one or two people should call you per in game day, and they shouldn't call the player at the same time. It was annoying going to hang out with Roman or take Carmen out on a date and then I have to deny Packie and Brucie who call me immediately after accepting another hang out.
Nah it's too annoying. They should call you from time to time but not everyday, every minute, every second! But yeah I want bowling back too. One of the best minigames in gta. Seriously gta 4 made me interested in bowling.
1. Gta IV car physics but enhanced. Too realistic might be hard as a game, too arcade removes realism. Keep it in between. 2. Interactive peds. Like WatchDogs. NPCs felt realistic and hurting them feels wrong. GTA is lacking this.
I hope they add interactions in gta 6, I’m talking about walking into a fast food place and can actually order and eat food, go to gyms to exercise stamina and even talk to npc’s to form relationships to expand the overall feel. Whatever is gonna be happening to the development of Gta 6, I’ll support rockstar regardless, even though it might not have these things in the final version of the game.

@@IskenderCaglarM41B441 I think the motivation is more like "I want to do x thing that happens to be legal" rather than "I want to do legal things" Although, having the option to do wacky stuff that's legal by loophole can also be fun, though with gta I think anything of that sort is more likely to appear as part of a mission :P (but maybe it could be an option for some missions the same way most missions in 5 had the sneaky and loud routes)
I swear the older GTA games were wayyyy harder. No checkpoints, limited access to guns. They pretty much nerf the difficulty because everyone started using cheat codes.
for me i really really love if they bring the weight gain/loss system and i wouldn't mind if they introduce hunger & thirst to the game to add more realism , as long it's not too punishing/grinding. because let's be honest ,we all love roaming around the city while listening to the radio in GTA. and imagine while we cruising down the street our character feel hungry so we need to stop by to burget shot
Would like to see an option when on missions to postion your npc allies for things like an ambush, or to take cover more on the fly as well. Would also like to see stealth being better tbh and make the reward for doing so something like more reputation/in game cash, same for not taking out non mission targets when on a mission.
It'd be nice to see some kind of re-release of LC/VC Stories. Some of my best memories are of having GTA on handheld and it started with those titles ☺️
Gotta say though, I would like them to expand on the stuff you can do in the ocean, like add in Scuba Diving, with Actual Scuba gear you can rent or own, have more hidden stuff to find in the ocean, especially if GTA 6 is set in Vice City, I mean there was also talk of surfing.
Jake I hate to be the one to tell you this but I think with RDR 2 success of having realism and a great story they’re gonna try that again in GTA 6. Especially now that most of the older people have left Rockstar and they want to take it in a new direction. Or at least that’s what I’m hoping for. I want to care about a character and story like I did Niko and Arthur
thinking on number 4, wouldn't it be really cool if you could by houses like in cyberpunk. it would be awesome if you could own different houses all over the map, like a farm house in the countryside or a penthouse in the city like in online. I would pay to have that as a feature.

The most important thing is more freedom with the missions. They are so locked down right now. I know that’s a different video since this has always been the case. I just really hope Rockstar took feedback from their games to heart and opened up the missions more for GTA6 so they feel more natural and not like you are a robot.
My thoughts exactly, I just commented, but basically I just wish that every big heist objective was on the map from the moment you start a new game. Maybe not marked, maybe not easily obtainable, but in the same way you could always rob an armored truck, I'd like to have the same for trains, ships, planes, etc... Just add more random money making as well as heists you can try to complete on your own whenever you want. The main story missions can provide you with allies and tools (such as helicopters with lifts) or intel on heists. The trade off becomes: Do an impossible task you shouldn't really know how to do but can try vs. Get hints, help, and equipment to complete the job, split the loot and pay for the equipment. Personally, I'd like the main story to revolve around Epsilon's Caribbean HQ, learning the true nature of their "power" and having to side with or against them with the FIB and IAA. When the main objective of the game is to make a gazillion dollars so you can put $100k into a nice car and have no missions left. What's the point of earning a billion dollars in the game if I'll never spend more than a million of it? I'd prefer to have ways to make big money early on so I can have a fully kitted character long before I attempt to finish a big final mission.
Maybe people don’t like it as much as I did, but I LOVED the Euphoria physics in GTA IV. Some people thought it was goofy I guess, but I thought it made gameplay so much more fun.
China town wars was so underrated And for me personally i enjoyed its story more then any other gta it was funny goofy had great twist and there were small mechanics like breaking the glass to exit the car underwater hot wiring the car to hijack it and assembling the sniper from the suit case it was so much fun for a small scale game

The character swap scenes - I remember one time I swapped over to Trevor and I was suddenly in the midst of being chased by police with a 2 star wanted level. On brand for Trevor, but I just wanted to go to my next mission
6 star wanted level was not just a "3D universe" thing. GTA IV and Chinatown Wars both had 6 stars, and they are HD Universe, same as V. GTA V very much stands out here.
Things we would like to see in GTA 6: 1. More inner environments, interactive too 2. Girlfriend through dating app, hangout and all that 3. Being able to purchase a new phone 4. better meele combat 6. Bigger map size 7. Totally functional Airport, railway station 8. Gym, food and muscles 9. Better looking cars 10. Be able to purchase car from the showroom.
They should add a feature where you can hide weapons in your safe house. Considering it looks like GTA 6 will only let you carry a few weapons, they should give you the option to hide some at your safe house. I believe the only GTA game that did this was GTA Advance, which no one played.
since lucia has an ankle monitor, i think when you go to a zone which u haven't unlocked u should get either an immediate 5 or 6 wanted stars. kinda like how micheal and trevor weren't able to leave sandy shores when martin madrazo was after them.
A few small details from mafia games that I would love in GTA is when you can park your car with its wheels turned, speed limiter/speeding fines and bribing the cops, functional fuel stations, openable boot and trunk of vehicle. And also the ability to personalize vehicle like your horse in RDR2.

@@IskenderCaglarM41B441 I don’t know. I think Skyrim and n fallout 4 you could go in just about every house. With procedural gen, I think a lot can be done nowadays that couldn’t be done 5 years ago. I think with the tech they have, they could make the majority (or at least a lot of) the houses invadeable.
I think they should add unique sounds for every car. Most cars in a certain class sound the exact same. Also the hellfire (hellcat) and dominator GT (mustang GT) do not sound nearly as good as their real life variants
No.3 VC stories businesses also had 'Daily Income' (effectively automatically paying you every day at 4 in the afternoon, unless on a mission, in which case you'd be paid after that mission ends) so that you could get on with having fun. I wish they'd done this with GTA: Online!
With point number 1, something to note is that they did bring FiveM on board to the Rockstar team and are completely open to third party servers with mods. Sure, it took them making an absolute killing off of GTA:Online first to finally come up with open arms, but as long as we are moving forward with allowing the community to get a certain level of access past the games core content and mechanics, I think something as simple as Cheats in Singleplayer will be a no-brainer.
if there are going to be cheats in 6 they need to LET US SAVE THE GAME after using cheats. it's the one thing i hate about cheats in modern games, so many of them won't let us save after enabling cheats making it pointless to use them while playing through the story, even RDR2 does this.
For thing in the game to change. In GTA IV near Times Square there were road works that never completed or progressed. Would be nice for it to be fixed and the road opened as the game develops.
I could write a lot of things,but as a hardcore gta single player fan,i always missed having a large variety of well written evwryday missions with depth with the other story protagonists after the main story was comoleted.i know you could hang out with them,but the dialogues and stuff where limited.Always when i finished the story,i was feeling i miss the actual interaction you can get with the other charachters with the use of cutshene.Maybe we could get to now their personal stories and backround more,because while on the main plot,the game doesnt have plenty of room for this,as the story has to go on.
Was having a chat with some friends about this. For gta 6 I would love a deeper look similar to gta online. I would love to be able to own business and illegal business to earn money throughout the story mode. Bring the cocaine, weed and fake documents to single player. Let me buy warehouses and do drug deals in single player. I wanna be able to build a criminal empire. As someone who loves to replay games that would keep me interested so much. Also owning legal business like the los santos customs and then getting a discount when using it. Do the same with Ammu nation. Let us buy stocks and so on. Also let us buy houses and different vehicles that we can choose as the players main vehicle. Also on topic of looks. More ranges with hair styles, clothes and let us buy jewellery and accessories.
I haven't played GTA Online, but playing Red Dead Online I find myself making solo sessions to avoid 15 year olds breaking the immersion the fantastic world tries to give you. Besides, the content is fairly well adjusted for solo play anyway. It would be really fun if I in the story mode eventually can start a moonshining business, pelt trader business, do bounty hunting etc. Really hope something similar from GTA online can be translated to the story mode so people who cba with online modes have more longevity with their games.
I like the switching into characters doing random stuff in random places etc. Just maybe keep same clothes. It was cool swapping while they in the middle of stuff. Made them seem more real

like gta 5 has heists... I want to see tht back but I'd like to see hits too... where you plan your own hits on people I've always liked the idea of being a hitman in a gta world especially the vice city setting
I miss cheats in games. They complimented the sandbox aspect of GTA so well. Especially GTA 4 where the cheats were saved on your phone and you only had to look them up once. I think GTA 5 had that too but i never got around to trying it. I hope they keep that going.
You hit the nail on the head for most of everything I want to see back again. Only things i can think of adding or coming back is more characters. I think the two main ones will be fun but i hope there will be 2 DLC with four more. So we could have six playable characters total in GTA VI. I think that with those characters so be map additions like Las Venturas, a mission in Las Santos (like GTA: SA did with a mission in Liberty City), missions in Liberty City, multiple cartel mission in Carcer City/Central America and San Fierro. I miss these locations especially from GTA: SA and had hoped they would appear at some point in GTA V: Online but having them included in GTA VI (Vice World) would be hella fun so we could have six major locals in it. Working airports, cruise ships and trains (Plains, Trains and Automobiles) would be so cool. Plus putting some sort of mansion or mega yacht or massive heist scheme or something where these 6 playable characters interact and cross paths like they do in GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City and GTA V (which technically has 5 playable characters if you count the two extra ones in online mode). I'd love for dating and activities with friends to return as well as respect level, maybe allowing a major rank in the cartel or gang of your choosing. I'd like the legacy of the mafia to be maintained and a mention to Tommy Verceti, Vicor Vance, Lance Vance and Yusuf Amir. Luis Lopez should make an appearance or have a reference to with him running or starting up clubs in Vice City. I'd like an Atlanteans vs Aliens vs Army mode in either base or the online version of the game. Also more interiors. Maybe a museum robbery, mansions you can rob, and advanced military weaponry you can get your hands on. I'd love a super power feature in the Aliens V Atlanteans mode with super punch, super speed, flight, invulnerability, invisibility, and indestructible lungs for deep sea and space as a way to have an homage to the cheating era and a tip of the hat to Saints Row IV. Plus more property you can destroy, buildup or buy/sell. Lastly many more TV shows and a Princess Robot Bubblegum cosplay outfit for the female player.
Things I’d love to see: -Cop missions -bridges being locked until you unlock another island -more interiors!!! -GTA IV’s physics -less aggressive cops (no shooting on 1 star)
I love realism a lot and the game should be realistic. Driving around in a tank with max wanted level and the best the police can do is throw SWAT at me, I find that a little unrealistic. Especially since GTA5 even has a military base.
Always thought a random fuel system would be an interesting challenge/addition. Not every car would be same levels or consumption; gotta fill up if you want to keep the car. By the way GTAIV did have 6 STARS; just no military. Easy miss since it was decades ago😂
What we need is to hire NPC’s and order which will help manage our criminal ventures and businesses, I’m talking from soldiers to lieutenants as well as completely destructible environments
Along with the interiors-I’d rather see a smaller overall map if they’d make what’s on the map FAR more interactive. Add depth, more immersion to the buildings, fun random AI/NPC interactions and events that you can engage in or ignore. Just more of that stuff on a granular level. Rather than “the map is the size of the universe!!! But you can’t go inside.”
There’s a ton of stuff they could do with a smaller map. If they do character switching again they could leave the characters on the map the whole time. Having more spawn memory would be awesome
I do worry that they'll mostly focus on Online stuff right from the start and the single player mode will suffer greatly. I do hope the game isn't toned down either. GTA V came out a long time ago and since then games have been toned down quite a bit in certain aspects.
I’d like for GTA VI to make the police more realistic like they were in GTA IV, where they flank, try to detain, etc before just pulling out their gun. To me, GTA V was immersion breaking because of this.
One of my favorite things to do in GTA Is just mess around so any of the sub missions like police and that are great. I did enjoy the tow truck missions in GTA 5 so more of that as well as different tow vehicles would be great as well
I feel like in the online mode, there should be more customisability for the player, allow us to choose their weight, size, sorta like Saint's Row level of customisation, but also add gyms that we can use to lose the weight and gain muscle, add activities such as bowling, enterable bars, golf, tennis, many types of activities, just make the whole thing more interactive and less of a grind
They need to bring back the driving physics like in gta 4 some cars have a different feel to the weight and speed It was hard to drive around sometimes but felt realistic with the handling and the cars can be damaged in many more ways than gta 5. If you speed up and crash you go flying out the window and you can shoot the tires and see the air slowly coming out.
Should be able to grab stuff and interact with more miniscule things in the environment kind of like RD2 except a lot more effort Like how you could throw trash and stuff but way better than GTA IV Small things like that really make the game fun and unique more ways to interact with NPCs special combat moves like human shields would really make it fun that kind of stuff really adds to a games overall feel and let's face it GTA IV had a better combat in hand-to-hand fist fighting way cooler than just the two punches you get in gta5😂

Yes they have no excuse now,they can easily have the most interiors of any gta fame before. Going into random houses to rob them would be pretty fun,especially if you get caught and the owner has a gun too.

Instead of artificially spawning cops, the game will grab the nearest police npc and task them to chase you, idk how SWAT and helis would've worked but i assume they prob wanted them to start from the police station, FBI HQ, military base and drive/fly to your position that way.
You can technically re-create this, by removing all cops from dispatch spawn pool and just include them in regular traffic.
SWAT and helicopters get bit tricky unless your good with Scenarios in CodeWalker
I would love back the jobs: Taxi, Fire, EMT, police. In gta 4 the cops jobs were very fun. I would also love to bring back the friend dates and girlfriends.

@@micahwest2793 I can see why. I like them because you got to learn more about the characters outside of Missions. There were also perks to be had when befriending someone such as Dwayne sending two guys over to help you on missions, Kiki getting rid of your wanted level, etc.

The best part of the character switch mechanic in GTA V was finding out where 2 characters were located, and then flying in a plane with one over the head of the other, and then switching back to the one on the ground and watching the plane crash from their POV. Some of the most fun I had in single player mode.

@@bobjoe5937 I think if they develop the campaign from the ground up as co-op then they'll always have a reason to keep updating. I don't really have co-op friends, but if GTAVI "single-player" allowed for 2-4 player co-op but also worked just the same in single player, then I'd have no problem with it. I know a lot of people like co-op and typically I don't mind playing co-op style games solo (not every game, but generally it's fine) so I think they can make it work. Especially if we can specialize our campaign characters to have proficiencies in various skills rather than just stamina driving flying etc.

I was always one to love buying properties in different parts of the world in San Andreas as their were tons to purchase. Something that I haven't seen replicated in following games. San Adreas really did have everything
That's why GTA V is so dang frustrating. There was so much more to do in San Andreas, but it was a PS2 era game!!! Remember the import/export cars thing where you had to operate the crane in San Fiero? The casinos? Driveable trains? Like, where the hell did all that go? If they could do all that with the PS2, there is no excuse on HD era systems!

Too many open world games have large maps that are mostly empty and not much to interact with throughout the large expanse of the map. I really wish games would make medium sized open worlds or even return to small linear maps with loading zones between maps but each map has a lot more density in amount of interiors and interactivity.

I'd say bring back the damage model from GTA IV. A meelee combat system similar to Sleeping Dog's would be nice. Also, being able to put enemies, NPCS, etc into the trunks/back of vehicles. Also, more destructible environments.

The Warriers was allot like sleeping Dogs before Sleeping,dogs was a Thing. Hand to hand like Warriers, stealth like manhunt and Gunplay like Maxpayne 3, Exploration and detail like RDR2, and the amount of things to do like In San andreas. A branching story line also having more of an impact on the open world.

I honestly think they should incorporate more purchasable safe houses like San Andreas did with a variety of different safe houses from a beach house to the country house in the hills to the mansion in Los Venturas. Would also love to have the option to select the players personal vehicle to an extent

I would like them to bring back better physics like they had with GTA IV & give us single player folks more to do when the game ends instead of ditching dlc in favour of online. I liked the story in V ok but IV was so much better. I hope they incorporate and evolve a lot of the random encounter type scenarios we got in Red Dead 2 to make the world feel more lived in, like your presence there matters to the npcs for better or worse. More interiors with actual reasons for being in them other than to buy clothes or eat food. Will be interesting to see what we get from the new Rockstar now that many integral staff members have left.
Gta5 story was awful lol. But I agree, I want the grittiness of gta4 to come back, but I really doubt that'll happen. The focus will be online and I'm very skeptical of gta6.

They can tell a good story. look at Red Dead 2, great story, stellar protagonist & a cast who could deliver. I hope they don't dumb things for the next GTA in that regard. Build upon solid foundations, if online is going to be a huge focus for them going forward as we know it will be, allocation of resources should be factored in but don't give us a dull empty sandbox & expect to build upon through your online component. I have faith in Rockstar. They have never delivered a dud, some titles better than others, but always entertaining. The GTA Definitive edition was piss poor, but they farmed that out to another developer who didn't put the work in. Shame they did nothing special with the Red Dead Redemption port but make it available on systems that have or will soon be moving on in the form of PS5 & whatever they call the upcoming Switch successor. I will be happy with a good story, good characters, good mechanics, good physics, an interesting world which can be smaller but needs to keep us interested & don't lose focus because of the cash online brings in.
Another thing which I don't think they had in any other GTA is transportation, you should be able to ride taxies, buses, trains, plains,Blimps. Its perfect for multiplayer, because the players could race each other (like in TG) car vrs train.
In response to your first point, I understand the desire for six star wanted level, but I am a big fan of Red Dead 2's immersive realism. It is the thing that I look forward to seeing the most in GTA 6. Better vehicle collision damage and stuff like that.

it needs to be more gta4 in relation to vehicle mechanics and collisions. it feels like the ragdoll mechanics also (in gta V) was much less realistic and alot less dynamic than they were in gta4... i loved the vibe of gta4, it was a huge refreshement in the gaming industry at the time.
Also, I enjoyed being limited to what weapons I have on me. It'd be nice to store our weapons in the trunk of our car. (like our horse...) Or a duffle bag to transport weapons and equipment to job sites out in public.
Online would benefit too, now little timmy can't pull 15 thousand bullshit weapons out of his ass to fight.
Not having access to rpgs and explosives on the regular would make pvp more fun, we could use our vehicle as mobile cover.
Gangs need to return, I always thought online would be better if we could join a gang every time we switch lobbies. It'd play out like san andreas but it'd give players more reason to grief or help players.
The current system of making your own gang is nice....but that's all anyone does. Then most just have one or two members.

I agree. I want to be able to go through the drive through to fastfood restaurants and use my mic to order foods that I see on the menu. Where your friend is on the passenger laughing while you order food. The food gives health/energy boosts. Seafood restaurants for best booosts. We have to get food in between missions for energy. Having game play that requires a mic. An airport mall. And to stand in line for the beginning process of traveling on a plane. I want random online gameplay that can happen. Also 2 player access like GTA Sa.
I want them to bring back the dating mechanic from gta 4. Where you could date using a dating app. But to go deeper, if you make the relationship strong enough, your dating partner could aid you in heists or side missions in the story. Maybe be a getaway driver or let you crash at their house if police are at yours. Kind of like a Bonnie & Clyde sort of thing.

I agree with most of the list. They really just need to bring back to goofy aspects of the older games. I grew up playing GTA 3 and GTA SA and really miss the weird side things you could do and interact with. It was so fun getting fat or gaining muscle, increasing stats, playing around with cheats, etc.
Cheats is a big one. The lack of an invincibility cheat in RDR2 take away from that game for me. I did everything there is to do.

@@Cpt_NoHand the game can be as realistic as possible. They should add fun cheats and stuff though. The older games were serious but had fun Easter eggs and cheats. Jetpack cheat, tank cheat, funny plane cheats, cheats that affect NPC's (like them joining your side and beating the shit out of anyone who doesn't), etc.
The problem is that Saints Row sucks ass and there hasn't been a Bully game in 15 years lol

i think the switch scenes with the characters being in the middle of nowhere or in a really messed up circumstance like a police chase or shootout was a really fun part because i was always excited to switch to trevor he is just a loose cannon that always gave me a smile. in short i hope they keep the wild random interactions when switching characters.

I agree as well. I think they did it well, that unless you leave the other character idle for too long, its possible for you to even find the other one. Although I agree with that car thing. They really could always leave you car somewhere near if you were driving it beforehand. Maybe also leave you option to keep the same clothes on.

Personally I think the swap scenes in 5 were pretty well implemented. They gave me laughs, told me something about the character, and kept me immersed enough that when I did find myself frustrated with something, that frustration was directed at the characters. Probably because the situations were relatively unique, like you wouldn't find Michael or Franklin in the same situations as Trevor (though, yes you'll find both Michael and Franklin driving in the city but they both live there and it *is* a very American car-dependent city :P)

The thing that I always wanted in GTA 5 that I hope we get in GTA 6... Like picking horses in Red Dead 2, that we have the ability to set the default vehicle.
Nothing frustrated me more than taking the time to customize vehicles for characters and not be able to use them in certain missions because I know they disappear and they're replaced by the default vehicle.
Honestly, it could be awesome if your default vehicle starts has some POS... And it's part of the story element that you have to find and improve your vehicles as you going along.

I Hope that we get basically a modern gta 4 (physics, activities, different ways to finish missions etc.) and all the kind of stuff you had in GTA Sa like customizing the character doing burglary etc and a map that isn’t only big but has something of interest in each place.
I loved the weight gain/eating/exercise stuff! It just made the world feel more real, and the negatives were barely anything. Would love more stuff like that to be in GTA 6!

I think were getting gyms back. There were a list of events in the game where some were listed with the words “gym” or “workout”. For instance, apparently there’s gonna be a random event located at a gym. And the other event was called a “workout challenge”.
It would affect how you play NOW though. In SA in didn’t affect anything…
But I’m sure you played RDR2 where you have to eat and whatnot unless there are affects. I can imagine in GTA that would be more effect.. if you’re fat you can only run for 4 seconds/slower. Stuff like that

Rockstar should definitely look at Yakuza to see how they can make their city feel more interactive and believable. Have interiors you can freely enter like restaurants, pool spots, bowling alleys, etc. so the shooting and driving doesn’t feel mundane. Hell even allowing us to sit on a park bench does a lot for immersion

Red Dead 2 does all of this. So will GTA 6.

Controversial but I want the friend dates back. I know you could still do them in GTA V but much like real life, I don't call my friends because I don't like to bother them. I know it's a meme at this point but I liked it in GTA IV when folks like Roman or Patrick would call you up asking to go bowling and all that.
Plus a further addendum, I want Bowling back entirely. I miss that particular mini game so much, I think it's because I'm a Bowling nut in real life.
Honestly, GTA 5 should have had the friends calling us feature from gta 4. Many people had problems with that feature from gta 4, But those conversations give a lot more depth to the characters. I recently went back and played all of gta 5 and did frequently hung out with the characters in the game. These optional conversations were way more serious and gave a lot of depth to Michael, Trevor and franklin. In one of the conversations, Michael sincerely apologizes to Trevor for betraying and running away and in return Trevor apologizes for being the way he was and how it probably influenced Michael's decision to run away. Seriously, Rockstar should have included these moments in the main story, But instead they made these as optional conversations.
Replayed GTA4 recently and I liked having people call Niko, but the frequency of calls could be reduced slightly, only one or two people should call you per in game day, and they shouldn't call the player at the same time. It was annoying going to hang out with Roman or take Carmen out on a date and then I have to deny Packie and Brucie who call me immediately after accepting another hang out.
Nah it's too annoying. They should call you from time to time but not everyday, every minute, every second!
But yeah I want bowling back too. One of the best minigames in gta. Seriously gta 4 made me interested in bowling.

1. Gta IV car physics but enhanced. Too realistic might be hard as a game, too arcade removes realism. Keep it in between.

Although, having the option to do wacky stuff that's legal by loophole can also be fun, though with gta I think anything of that sort is more likely to appear as part of a mission :P (but maybe it could be an option for some missions the same way most missions in 5 had the sneaky and loud routes)
I swear the older GTA games were wayyyy harder. No checkpoints, limited access to guns. They pretty much nerf the difficulty because everyone started using cheat codes.

Would also like to see stealth being better tbh and make the reward for doing so something like more reputation/in game cash, same for not taking out non mission targets when on a mission.
It'd be nice to see some kind of re-release of LC/VC Stories. Some of my best memories are of having GTA on handheld and it started with those titles ☺️

Gotta say though, I would like them to expand on the stuff you can do in the ocean, like add in Scuba Diving, with Actual Scuba gear you can rent or own, have more hidden stuff to find in the ocean, especially if GTA 6 is set in Vice City, I mean there was also talk of surfing.

Jake I hate to be the one to tell you this but I think with RDR 2 success of having realism and a great story they’re gonna try that again in GTA 6. Especially now that most of the older people have left Rockstar and they want to take it in a new direction. Or at least that’s what I’m hoping for. I want to care about a character and story like I did Niko and Arthur
thinking on number 4, wouldn't it be really cool if you could by houses like in cyberpunk. it would be awesome if you could own different houses all over the map, like a farm house in the countryside or a penthouse in the city like in online. I would pay to have that as a feature.

The most important thing is more freedom with the missions. They are so locked down right now. I know that’s a different video since this has always been the case. I just really hope Rockstar took feedback from their games to heart and opened up the missions more for GTA6 so they feel more natural and not like you are a robot.
They should add actual stealth.
My thoughts exactly, I just commented, but basically I just wish that every big heist objective was on the map from the moment you start a new game. Maybe not marked, maybe not easily obtainable, but in the same way you could always rob an armored truck, I'd like to have the same for trains, ships, planes, etc... Just add more random money making as well as heists you can try to complete on your own whenever you want. The main story missions can provide you with allies and tools (such as helicopters with lifts) or intel on heists. The trade off becomes: Do an impossible task you shouldn't really know how to do but can try vs. Get hints, help, and equipment to complete the job, split the loot and pay for the equipment.
Personally, I'd like the main story to revolve around Epsilon's Caribbean HQ, learning the true nature of their "power" and having to side with or against them with the FIB and IAA. When the main objective of the game is to make a gazillion dollars so you can put $100k into a nice car and have no missions left. What's the point of earning a billion dollars in the game if I'll never spend more than a million of it? I'd prefer to have ways to make big money early on so I can have a fully kitted character long before I attempt to finish a big final mission.
3D Era games actually gave you some freedom in missions. HD Era mission fails when you take 5 steps in a different direction.

Maybe people don’t like it as much as I did, but I LOVED the Euphoria physics in GTA IV. Some people thought it was goofy I guess, but I thought it made gameplay so much more fun.
Who didn't love euphoria physics? They are realistic and fun to play around.

China town wars was so underrated
And for me personally i enjoyed its story more then any other gta it was funny goofy had great twist and there were small mechanics like breaking the glass to exit the car underwater hot wiring the car to hijack it and assembling the sniper from the suit case it was so much fun for a small scale game
10:I won't to see human shields and if your in a corner you can fake surrender then take a police officer a shield like in hitman.

8: The burglar side mission from San Andreas best side mission ever in GTA.
7: More unpredictable PEDs certain areas PEDs are strapped and might wip out an AK and try carjacking you if your stopped at a red light for whatever reason and where other noc PEDs can get carjacked like you can.
6: Dismemberment and more gore.
5: More consumable items like adrenaline which can be armor over your health that is armor that is constantly wearing off even out of combat that can help survive falling.
4: Multiple cities and towns highways and back roads and more like SA.
3: Free roam robable enterable and useable casinos that automatically get the swat team on you for robbing.
2: Girlfriends with unique perks more indepth.
1: Less annoying police.

The character swap scenes - I remember one time I swapped over to Trevor and I was suddenly in the midst of being chased by police with a 2 star wanted level. On brand for Trevor, but I just wanted to go to my next mission

6 star wanted level was not just a "3D universe" thing. GTA IV and Chinatown Wars both had 6 stars, and they are HD Universe, same as V. GTA V very much stands out here.
Things we would like to see in GTA 6:
1. More inner environments, interactive too
2. Girlfriend through dating app, hangout and all that
3. Being able to purchase a new phone
4. better meele combat
6. Bigger map size
7. Totally functional Airport, railway station
8. Gym, food and muscles
9. Better looking cars
10. Be able to purchase car from the showroom.
They should add a feature where you can hide weapons in your safe house. Considering it looks like GTA 6 will only let you carry a few weapons, they should give you the option to hide some at your safe house. I believe the only GTA game that did this was GTA Advance, which no one played.
since lucia has an ankle monitor, i think when you go to a zone which u haven't unlocked u should get either an immediate 5 or 6 wanted stars. kinda like how micheal and trevor weren't able to leave sandy shores when martin madrazo was after them.
A few small details from mafia games that I would love in GTA is when you can park your car with its wheels turned, speed limiter/speeding fines and bribing the cops, functional fuel stations, openable boot and trunk of vehicle.
And also the ability to personalize vehicle like your horse in RDR2.
An environment where you can go into literally every home: they all have residents etc - now THAT would be the ultimate GTA

I think they should add unique sounds for every car. Most cars in a certain class sound the exact same. Also the hellfire (hellcat) and dominator GT (mustang GT) do not sound nearly as good as their real life variants
No.3 VC stories businesses also had 'Daily Income' (effectively automatically paying you every day at 4 in the afternoon, unless on a mission, in which case you'd be paid after that mission ends) so that you could get on with having fun. I wish they'd done this with GTA: Online!
With point number 1, something to note is that they did bring FiveM on board to the Rockstar team and are completely open to third party servers with mods. Sure, it took them making an absolute killing off of GTA:Online first to finally come up with open arms, but as long as we are moving forward with allowing the community to get a certain level of access past the games core content and mechanics, I think something as simple as Cheats in Singleplayer will be a no-brainer.
if there are going to be cheats in 6 they need to LET US SAVE THE GAME after using cheats. it's the one thing i hate about cheats in modern games, so many of them won't let us save after enabling cheats making it pointless to use them while playing through the story, even RDR2 does this.
For thing in the game to change. In GTA IV near Times Square there were road works that never completed or progressed. Would be nice for it to be fixed and the road opened as the game develops.
I could write a lot of things,but as a hardcore gta single player fan,i always missed having a large variety of well written evwryday missions with depth with the other story protagonists after the main story was comoleted.i know you could hang out with them,but the dialogues and stuff where limited.Always when i finished the story,i was feeling i miss the actual interaction you can get with the other charachters with the use of cutshene.Maybe we could get to now their personal stories and backround more,because while on the main plot,the game doesnt have plenty of room for this,as the story has to go on.

For gta 6 I would love a deeper look similar to gta online. I would love to be able to own business and illegal business to earn money throughout the story mode. Bring the cocaine, weed and fake documents to single player. Let me buy warehouses and do drug deals in single player. I wanna be able to build a criminal empire. As someone who loves to replay games that would keep me interested so much. Also owning legal business like the los santos customs and then getting a discount when using it. Do the same with Ammu nation. Let us buy stocks and so on. Also let us buy houses and different vehicles that we can choose as the players main vehicle. Also on topic of looks. More ranges with hair styles, clothes and let us buy jewellery and accessories.
I haven't played GTA Online, but playing Red Dead Online I find myself making solo sessions to avoid 15 year olds breaking the immersion the fantastic world tries to give you. Besides, the content is fairly well adjusted for solo play anyway. It would be really fun if I in the story mode eventually can start a moonshining business, pelt trader business, do bounty hunting etc. Really hope something similar from GTA online can be translated to the story mode so people who cba with online modes have more longevity with their games.

like gta 5 has heists... I want to see tht back but I'd like to see hits too... where you plan your own hits on people I've always liked the idea of being a hitman in a gta world especially the vice city setting
I miss cheats in games. They complimented the sandbox aspect of GTA so well. Especially GTA 4 where the cheats were saved on your phone and you only had to look them up once. I think GTA 5 had that too but i never got around to trying it. I hope they keep that going.
I want to see the ability to buy and open legit business. Food franchises, laundry mats, gyms, gas stations, etc

You hit the nail on the head for most of everything I want to see back again. Only things i can think of adding or coming back is more characters. I think the two main ones will be fun but i hope there will be 2 DLC with four more. So we could have six playable characters total in GTA VI. I think that with those characters so be map additions like Las Venturas, a mission in Las Santos (like GTA: SA did with a mission in Liberty City), missions in Liberty City, multiple cartel mission in Carcer City/Central America and San Fierro. I miss these locations especially from GTA: SA and had hoped they would appear at some point in GTA V: Online but having them included in GTA VI (Vice World) would be hella fun so we could have six major locals in it. Working airports, cruise ships and trains (Plains, Trains and Automobiles) would be so cool. Plus putting some sort of mansion or mega yacht or massive heist scheme or something where these 6 playable characters interact and cross paths like they do in GTA IV and Episodes from Liberty City and GTA V (which technically has 5 playable characters if you count the two extra ones in online mode). I'd love for dating and activities with friends to return as well as respect level, maybe allowing a major rank in the cartel or gang of your choosing. I'd like the legacy of the mafia to be maintained and a mention to Tommy Verceti, Vicor Vance, Lance Vance and Yusuf Amir. Luis Lopez should make an appearance or have a reference to with him running or starting up clubs in Vice City. I'd like an Atlanteans vs Aliens vs Army mode in either base or the online version of the game. Also more interiors. Maybe a museum robbery, mansions you can rob, and advanced military weaponry you can get your hands on. I'd love a super power feature in the Aliens V Atlanteans mode with super punch, super speed, flight, invulnerability, invisibility, and indestructible lungs for deep sea and space as a way to have an homage to the cheating era and a tip of the hat to Saints Row IV. Plus more property you can destroy, buildup or buy/sell. Lastly many more TV shows and a Princess Robot Bubblegum cosplay outfit for the female player.
Am I Only the one that hears a sort of slight Echo whenever Jake talks? Like in an empty room or something?

I love realism a lot and the game should be realistic. Driving around in a tank with max wanted level and the best the police can do is throw SWAT at me, I find that a little unrealistic. Especially since GTA5 even has a military base.

Always thought a random fuel system would be an interesting challenge/addition. Not every car would be same levels or consumption; gotta fill up if you want to keep the car.
By the way GTAIV did have 6 STARS; just no military. Easy miss since it was decades ago😂

What we need is to hire NPC’s and order which will help manage our criminal ventures and businesses, I’m talking from soldiers to lieutenants as well as completely destructible environments
Along with the interiors-I’d rather see a smaller overall map if they’d make what’s on the map FAR more interactive. Add depth, more immersion to the buildings, fun random AI/NPC interactions and events that you can engage in or ignore. Just more of that stuff on a granular level. Rather than “the map is the size of the universe!!! But you can’t go inside.”
There’s a ton of stuff they could do with a smaller map. If they do character switching again they could leave the characters on the map the whole time. Having more spawn memory would be awesome
I do worry that they'll mostly focus on Online stuff right from the start and the single player mode will suffer greatly. I do hope the game isn't toned down either. GTA V came out a long time ago and since then games have been toned down quite a bit in certain aspects.

I think GTA 6 will be GTA 5 with graphic improvement and new maps with new many guns and cars, nothing special!
The six-star wanted level system makes it so much more interesting with the military playing a major part in the police ranks at six stars.
I’d like for GTA VI to make the police more realistic like they were in GTA IV, where they flank, try to detain, etc before just pulling out their gun.
To me, GTA V was immersion breaking because of this.
One of my favorite things to do in GTA Is just mess around so any of the sub missions like police and that are great. I did enjoy the tow truck missions in GTA 5 so more of that as well as different tow vehicles would be great as well
I feel like in the online mode, there should be more customisability for the player, allow us to choose their weight, size, sorta like Saint's Row level of customisation, but also add gyms that we can use to lose the weight and gain muscle, add activities such as bowling, enterable bars, golf, tennis, many types of activities, just make the whole thing more interactive and less of a grind
They need to bring back the driving physics like in gta 4 some cars have a different feel to the weight and speed It was hard to drive around sometimes but felt realistic with the handling and the cars can be damaged in many more ways than gta 5. If you speed up and crash you go flying out the window and you can shoot the tires and see the air slowly coming out.

One thing I wish they had in GTA V which they had in Midnight club is the option to customize cars more like rasie and lower cars.
Should be able to grab stuff and interact with more miniscule things in the environment kind of like RD2 except a lot more effort Like how you could throw trash and stuff but way better than GTA IV Small things like that really make the game fun and unique more ways to interact with NPCs special combat moves like human shields would really make it fun that kind of stuff really adds to a games overall feel and let's face it GTA IV had a better combat in hand-to-hand fist fighting way cooler than just the two punches you get in gta5😂
