Honestly I've found Adam Neely's "5 Hour Scale Practice" video to be super helpful. Once you feel fully familiar with running scales say in 3rds, move on to fourths, fifths, sixths then eventually sevenths. and don't rush! take your time!

Giuseppe you are a star explainer and thanks for telling the truth, like, to master the fretboard is not a couple of weeks exercise ;-) more like a couple of year. I love the truth. :-) and one needs commitment to it ;-)

I‘m a Bit confused in this fundamental stuff. Maybe someone can help me out. Let’s say I’m starting with a C and I want to practice the major scale in 3th. If I think correctly the next note would be an E. now the confusion starts…do I switch the key to E major and the next note I’ll play is the third of the E major scale G# and than the third of the G# major an C? Can someone clear my mind?

Yeah! Interesting masochistic approach to practicing!!...I do agree with it though and if I find it easy then it is sort of useless. But learning shapes does not equal learning what note you are playing; I have practiced all sorts of scales and modes in all their positions, for years bro...but the entire notes sequence on the fretboard...I still struggle with it! But I am not a pro I am just an amateur and focus becomes an issue after a day in front of the computer.
And I enjoyed your D arpeggios in the package, very nice and a good challenge to fingering. Arpeggios are an interesting business, just like intervals which, I intend to tackle next.
Thanks for yet another insightful vid mate...I'll tell you as soon as I see some space and time ahead in my work load I can think of joining your classes and maybe you can help me put together and make concrete years of fragmented guitar play.
Grazie ancora Giuseppe and have a good day.

Hey Guiseppe, I really enjoy your videos! Also, you have a killer tone on this one and many others. I assume those are Fishman Fluence pickups? And the amp you are using is the Neural DSP you recently showed? I have a Kemper and would like to get somewhere close to this tone. Any suggestions regarding amp model + OD pedal etc.?
