Good content, I'm glad Chris mentioned you and brought his car over. Didn't know about your channel. Trying to start up my own. Have alot of projects of my own for customers. Keep it up
Really cool car. Looks like somebody did take some time under the hood it all looked clean. Ought to name it Christine she was asking you to fix her when you grabbed the wheel and the horn kept blowing. Trans doesn't want to park she wants to stay in gear and go! LOL
The car colour for your Chevy was called salmon.and the engine was a blue flame six .i have an original model still in the box ready to be assembled the same colour.
My '68 start 6 last lifter was a bit tricky. I was told that was the usual. The last to get oil and wore faster. I ran that car forever and it never got louder.
You just have to appreciate old stuff. The simplicity of it yet if you think about technology of the day how complex it was. Keep the videos rolling even though it's a job within itself. Thanks
@@bitlittle457 yes back then they probably thought who designed this contraption? Lol. I was pulling the dash cluster out yesterday to clean and retrofit it with led’s and I was like who designed this mess ? The wiring harness wasn’t long enough to put it back in dash connected… so I was upside down under dash hooking it back up😂
Lol I was thinking the other day that back in the day a car comes rolling into a garage with a problem and the mechanic is like these cars are so hard to work on and figure out the problem yet at the same time compared to today they were so simplistic.
@@BiggChris1972 soon! Got a lot to film and edit! Been very busy in shop and this 100 degree heat not helping. Should be a video around end of the week on all the other stuff being done to the Chevelle. Stay tuned!
it is a risk lift the car like that with that arm lift...safer with a lift you drive up to with the wheels lifting the car.... depends on how rusty the car is under,

@@jackbrydges7673 I like that color. This car was beautiful in its hayday! Im working on it now on the lift trying to square exhaust away
Six and Powerglide might be slow, but it will get you there and back with economy every time.

The auto choke on mine drove me crazy. I finally installed a manual pull cable attached to the column. No more choke headaches.
