Good video but aluminium expansion tanks are not as good of an idea as they seem The expansion tank is meant to be the first point of failure, so other parts don’t leak or fail Genuine expansion tanks are perfectly fine, it’s just most are failing now because they’re 20+ years old and fragile
I've got issues with rough idling and miss firing/lack of power, it idles rough all the time but when it starts misfiring the idling gets worse it's a 320d, any ideas?
My e46 sputters when i give it gas and I have no check engine light on I already cleaned my MAF and my air intake boot is not torn I don't know what it can be.
Does your aluminium expansion cap release the pressure? I dont think so, they designed the oem very well.... dont do this guys there is a reason why does it crack and not because its plastic .... you supposed to change the cap to be working properly. Catch can FTW or replace whole ccv system every 90.000 km BUT for OEM!!!! By whole I mean CCV valve and all 4 houses and UN clog the dipstick tube to the oil pan thats it, never had any problem.

If you can find an M56 valve cover you can convert to a PCV system. 50's Kid has a video on it
