Good video but aluminium expansion tanks are not as good of an idea as they seem The expansion tank is meant to be the first point of failure, so other parts don’t leak or fail Genuine expansion tanks are perfectly fine, it’s just most are failing now because they’re 20+ years old and fragile

I use it on all 3 of my Vehicles as preventative maintenance for the past 5 years . Mileage 250k 140k 80k. I have no Engine issues. I get it on Amazon & Walmart for $10-12 and usually purchase 6-12 at a time along with Costco Kirkland Full Synthetic oil, Good stuff 😊

I've got issues with rough idling and miss firing/lack of power, it idles rough all the time but when it starts misfiring the idling gets worse it's a 320d, any ideas?

Does your aluminium expansion cap release the pressure? I dont think so, they designed the oem very well.... dont do this guys there is a reason why does it crack and not because its plastic .... you supposed to change the cap to be working properly. Catch can FTW or replace whole ccv system every 90.000 km BUT for OEM!!!! By whole I mean CCV valve and all 4 houses and UN clog the dipstick tube to the oil pan thats it, never had any problem.

My e39 with went into limp mode and ran horrible from dirty TPS sensor and multiple vacuum leaks.

Weld a washer to it or get a small drill bit ,drill two hole on each ear of the opening and screw a piece of rectangular sheet metal with a hole for the size of the bolt.

You can't expect direct results man, stuff have to mix well with the engine oil, the best thing you can do with your engine is to use Liqui Moly Engine flush Proline, then change the oil with quality 5w30 and premixed it with Mos2 or Ceratec. Change your spark plugs if they are old.

As soon as I saw this i tried it and mine was broken from the bottom piece was no longer attracted to the top. So you need to make sure the bottom cap really sits in place, if it is detached from the body it will not work. So in my case i hat to make sure to glue it and taped it in case so the body and the bottom piece are attached. The pin you pushed is not a reset button. That's just a tap to pull the connector out.

Great ! I have a mercedes 2007 c230 ! Do you really need the reservoir ? It has not been in use since who knows ! I live in Miami fla , the freaking reservoir ocuppies a volume of at least 1/4 of cubic foot and it is so low located that makes it prone to be hit by any debry one might find in the road therefore I thought that I could send the reservoir to the garbage can and hook the entrance and the one that goes out little hoses and " It is the ' problem solved ? ' or I shoud expect additional issues because of it ? " Thanks for your unique video Sir !

I don’t use washer fluid or use my wipers. I use rain-x and clean my windows with chemical guys stream free window cleaner. My windows always look clean. Seeing the washer fluid symbol annoyed tf out of me lol.
