    Tamil Nadu is India's second richest state with a GDP of ₹31.5 Lakh Crore or $378 Billion. It contributes almost 9.5% to the country's GDP following Maharashtra.

    The top 5 reasons
    1. Disiplicined, Hardworking and high work ethics of tamils. It's not boasting or exaggeration. You can feel the difference between TN and other states.
    2. Women empowerment and role of women in workforce. Many will be startled to know that 60% of total Indian women workforce are from tamilnadu.
    3. Focus on not only service oriented industries, but on manufacturing, agriculture and other types too.
    4. English speaking Skilled Work force. TN is one of the few stated where STEM became a passion. You can find a stem guy/girl in almost every house providing a steady stream of workforce for requirements from abroad as well as local.
    5. This is top reason. But I mention it as the 5th reason for a reason and that i I don't want to be blamed as a pro DMK. The dravidian governments like DMK and to a certain extent ADMK worked for social equality and inclusive growth and education as a top priority. Women empowerment was a passion for dravidian government. These ensured all sections of society started contributing to growth inspite of no support and blacking out by the union governments since 1947.
    Now TN is in a advantageous position to propelll the state further.

      If you compare it with northern state, always take in account how much destruction and poverty has been caused by thousands of years of Invasions, genocides, jihad movements, colonization, famines, wars, partitions, illegal infiltration and cross border terrorism.
      Southern India is shielded from all that by rest of India. Be grateful and have some sympathy for those who were oppressed for millennia.
      Yes many things you said are true but that's not an entire picture.
      Some Historical scars take long time to heal.
      Note : I'm not from Northern India. I'm from Western india.

    • @EriOliyanVaenthi
      @EriOliyanVaenthi หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      @@theniravpanchal I'll tell you something. While what you said is true. It cant be said as a reason for backwardness of the northern and some of the western and eastern parts.
      Let's take how india stood at 1947. The bimaru states were the richest in 1947. Bihar was the most industrialised state in India. Every public sector govt offices and manufacturing units were started in UP as it decided who the ruler is (even today it's the same). This trend continued well till the 1960s.
      Fed up with the biased treatment for the south, and abject poverty and unemployment the southerners particularly TN and keralites started to move to the gulf and the east asian counties on job. The elite started to love to USA and western European countries.
      In addition, despite abject poverty, the dravidian governments stood on certain basic principles with respect to education and equality. This is where the northern states missed. But still the poverty continued. In the 90s when india was liberalised and opened up, the western multinational started to place.and build their companies to south as they found it had better education, right qualifications and work ethics.. And they found a good English speaking population. So this was the key that eliminated the poverty of southern states.. So blaming islamic invasion as the reason may not be applicable from 1947.

    I am from Tamil Nadu and many people think how our state achieved many things for that main reason is our state focused mainly on manufacturing related economic growth when in India 🇮🇳 many states focused on service oriented growth after 1991 liberalization at that time itslef we understood that to develop fastly we should focus on manufacturing related jobs just as same as like service related jobs.Take example of our state's districts such as Coimbatore which is named as Manchester of South India 🇮🇳 , Tiruppur ,Salem , Erode etc..these districts heaviely contribute to state of Tamil Nadu's manufacturing output at the same time our capital city Chennai contribute to both manufacturing and service fields and being having one of the largest coastal line state in India 🇮🇳 our state also drastically focused on developing new ports such as Chennai and Tutucorian ports 🏭 which connects most of the goods coming from South east Asian countries(🇲🇾,🇸🇬,🇻🇳,🇵🇭,🇮🇩,🇰🇭,🇹🇭), Japan(🇰🇷) ,China(🇨🇳) with our country India(🇮🇳).I am not saying our state is 💯% best it is true many of our politicians are corrupt 😤 but our people will surely give them the punishement in elections if they did wrong in Economy at the same time when compared to all states in India our state achieved many things which still many states in our India 🇮🇳 are aiming to achieve which always makes we tamils proud of our achievement and contribution to the overall development of our nation🤗.Jai Hind 🇮🇳.

    • @PikaPluff
      @PikaPluff หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      It's not that simple. The onus isn't just on hindus (the majority) knowing the "difference" and promoting peace. It's about all being peaceful period. South india didn't face the brunt of islamic invasions, and the sizeable minority of muslims in india is concentrated in the north.
      Religious harmony is also a debate itself. Is it harmonious when one religion claims to be the only way to heaven, and that non-muslims are bound for hell? There is bound to be conflict, as shown with history. Unsurprisingly, one more likely to start it than the other.
      To understand hindutva, you must consider both sides of the story. When that happens there will be peace.

I'm having a sincere request not to idealize that we do not have any problems, We have our own set of issues, We have had naxalites infiltration in western ghats, veerappan issue which made Karnataka and TN into loggerheads, Rajiv Ghandi assasination, A weekly dispute between our beloved fishermen and The Great Sri Lankan navy , We faced a devastating Tsunami in 2004 which took away innumerable people of Tamils , having port is happier at good times, but residing closer to water is always a must watch situation. Every year December sends shivers across the spine of dwellers in the coastal zones. He kept aside the politics, religion, rich or poor, boy or girl, caste. he started giving free food inorder to encourage the study. then CN Annadurai followed it, then M. Karunanidhi, then MGR started the Sathunavu thittam which was a mile stone in 1980s, and most of the poor family kids found a reason to go to school and parents particularly the fathers of the family did not stop, so it gave a big opportunity for studies, and all the later govts including both DMK, AIADMK Puratchi Thalavi Amma even bought the Amma food with less price, which has brought so much change in poor people life.
    MK Stalin further improvising the same by offering morning breakfast along with lunch to the govt school kids and now quota for govt school kids for medical college admissions. Both DMK and ADMK ensured whatever may be their internal policies, but they hv kept the people related schemes on top, so it paved the way for the betterment of the state. 1. Availability of qualified resources. Lots of colleges and every year we have numerous people passing out.
    2. Infrastructure setup
    3. Stability (Political, Religious, etc.)
    4. People attitude - Although not as good as international standards far better than most of North states.
    5. Most of all - Growing up from root level. Enabling education for all and steps to eradicate caste dominance.

    History is not always a good indicator of where a state stands today. It all depends upon a good management, having a good vision and staying focused on that vision today. In my opinion, TN was mired in poor management during the 70s, 80s and probably 90s. I think they have slowly turned the ship around. BTW, Gujarat, Karnataka and Telengana have done as well as TN in the last couple of decades.
