    Good to see the PD photocopier is back up & running again.😆 gotta say they seem to have done a pretty good job quite like the look of the blue dial one & to be honest, this actually makes more sense than the very expensive watch that it "homages"
    Great video my man.👍👍

      There’s nothing wrong with their photocopier mate they just needed to change the ink cartridge and Bosh, they’re back in the game 😜

    Good to see you back in the saddle but you still sound as though you have that pesky cold. I think this is the best colour way for this watch. The negative sub dials and matching minute markers give it a smaller and more balanced look as opposed to the other available colours. Take care buddy and get yourself well :)

      Very true mate, I’ve been struggling to shift this bloody cold and just when I think I’ve cracked the case, my daughter gets I’ll and tops me up. I appreciate you and keep up the good work my man - thanks for watching 👍👍

    Thanks for another great review Simon. I have a similar dial panda from Orient, a, JDM model so not another one for me. However I have been using my first Pagani for the past few weeks, the Mission to Uranus version of the Moonwatch with the same VK63. I wasn't expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. I reckon this one you're showing us will be a great buy for anyone who wants a traditional looking panda. The problem with the ghost date is that there are two Seiko movements as far as I know, this one with the ghost date and the VK64 which I think might not have the ghost date but has no running seconds hand which a lot of people don't like. I might be wrong about what I said there but might be worth checking if I'm right or wrong. As for this PD, if I didn't have a panda Chronograph I'd be buying this one.

I have 3 Pagani chrono quarts and 2 Automatic watches I bought 3 years ago and they still working fine I even swim with them so far no Issues with that been said I think I'll pull the Triger on this one. Aside from the the missed opportunity of making this one 37-38mm (which Tissot does not offer), the other thing missing here for me is the date window. Or better, if one of the subdials is for the date complication.

    Good-Looking Watch .. I have the PD1664 with the SEIKO mecaquartz along with many other Pagani Design watches. - Those of us who don't aspire to "watches that rule All watches" get GREAT value from 'Ali E' China eh.
    I have VOSTOKS too and love 'em. - Would you consider reviewing vintage SEIKOS at all? - I am building a bit of a SEIKO collection as I get a bit of spare $$ and can only dream of "Grand Seikos" in between afternoon naps 🙃🙃.

      @@Mikesmeyer88 Hi Michael, - Yeah I'm learning as I go & surprised myself by bidding for and getting a GRAND SEIKO Quartz with a champaign dial that now lives on my righu wrist (there's a SEIKO 'Kinetic' on 'tuther arm). This could get costly but I'll eat a lot of porridge eh 🙃.

    • @WatchtheTime
      @WatchtheTime  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tbh Michael given the way the strap conforms to the case, a bit like the watch it’s homaging, it would probably be a hard watch to find alternative straps for. Sorry I’ve not got better news but thanks for watching man 👍👍

    Its nice other than the bracelet issue. I have a $20 watch with a similar design and it has the same bracelet issue. Now I'm thinking, could both have been made by the same company and sold to other watch manufactures. The Pagani has a much better movement.

    Great review, I ordered, love the look of it but the bracelet is either too big or too small. The bracelet doesn't look good as my wrist can't be big enough and the last link like folds in and looks weird.
    Does anyone think it would look ok mounted on rubber and if so any recommendations?
    Thanks!

    My only complaint is the bracelet. Its abit sharp but more annoyingly theres no half links, so ive got to wear it abit tighter than i would want to.
    With that said, i've tried the actual tissot prx chrono and this really isnt that far off. I actually prefer the paganis thicker flatter bezel

    • @WatchtheTime
      @WatchtheTime  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I hear you but for the money, I think it’s more than acceptable and quite well done and as for the links, that is always going to be an issue when you don’t have any micro-adjustment or half links. Fortunately mine was pretty bang on.
      Thanks for watching mate 👍👍

  • @Mikesmeyer88

    Yea the case is the best but everything about the functionality is trash. I wouldn't trust it to time my food cooking. When you've used real chronographs the vk movements are just silly, remember its a "fashion" watch.
