So when you see that these mental events like happiness, sadness, regret and so on are just movements of the energy of the mind which are there, like and illusion and yet not there like an illusion. Then we start to see what meditation is for, it's not trying to make us a better person or to improve or change anything but rather to let us simply see what is there to be seen, rather than imagining what we see - James Low
