Joop Extreme is my Favorite Flanker because it's not as overwhelming after 2sprays and it's has more of a masculine appeal for a sweet floral scented fragrance.
The vintage version has more of that “cherry sucrets” smell than the current version. Vintage has some polarizing mojo yes but the new (2020-21) version is smoother all around and less cherry/ more cinnamon, there is not hardly a difference other than that, both are beast mode perfumes....!!!

It has puzzled me; people pronounce the J three ways, like the j of juniper (hard), the y of yo-yo, and the zh of Zhivago (symbol is like a z with loop [ ʒ ] and is called 'ezh.' (That's a voiced postalveolar fricative, for you phoneticians.) The vowel of Joop! is pronounced two ways, the long o ("oh") and the long u (like poop and juniper). Wolfgang Joop, the German Joop! is named after (and his countrymen), would probably have pronounced his name "yope" BUT... the company has put out ads with different pronunciations in different markets. I spoke with the British voice actor who recorded for that market, and he confirmed that the ad pronunciations are market-specific, and he was instructed specifically in how to pronounce it for the ads. Makes sense: why confuse or contradict people who are saying it a certain way in their country? The five common pronunciations are (in no order): Jope, Jupe, Yope, Zhope and Zhupe. And I actually heard someone in a TH-cam video the other day say, 'Jop' like hop and I just about had a cow.

You could but it depends how you will carry it on you. I will just suggest to keep it to one Spray and only winter for casual. It's too sweet for hot days and can be extremely cloying and you do not want people to have headache around you. But one spray and winter then yes. You could pull it off. Just have confidence in you and everything else will just fit.
I'm also crazy about Joop! Homme, have been since it came out in 1989. The perfumer, Michel Almairac has a really splendid resume of great colognes, including Dior's Fahrenheit and Dunhill's 2003 eponymous cologne.

My issue with that cologne in 2021 is that I can't seem to tell if I'm getting knock offs or the authentic cologne (I think I definitely got a knock off at least once) when I buy it. I know the style of the bottle has changed. The price variations I find of it when trying to purchase online are huge. Like, a 6.7 Oz spray for 31 dollars (usd) and change. Then seeing a 4.2 Oz bottle for 117 and change on a different site? Do you have any idea why this is? Or how to be sure you're buying the right one?
My go to men's fragrances are JOOP AUQA DI GIO HUGO BOSS BURBERRY (BRIT) Dolce and Gabbana and I'll make exceptions for a few others here and there but I'm definitely wondering what's going on with the price variations with Joop since I recall it being over 40 dollars for a 3.5 Oz bottle.
I've seen people I know buy knock offs too many times to repeat the mistake. I just only get fragrances from a reputable source (Notino is my favourite in EU). Find a drugstore you can trust. My experience with prices in EU is that they seem to be somewhat similar in big chain drugstores. Sure, you can get Joop cheaper online, but if the price is too good to be true, then it probably is. I'd rather spend a bit more and have the real thing than to save a little and then spend more on the real thing. I'd suggest finding a a reputable (not necessarily the cheapest) seller and sticking with it. Good luck on the fragrance journey!

Even called it cotton candy with piss on it haha so I am just finding this whole conv amusing so i will indulge. i bought myself 125mL of it at a price around $25, sold and shipped by Amazon itself.
