I remember watching my friend Barry put 3 on the neck, 2 on the chest, 2 on the stomach AND 1 on each wrist!! And then 3 other friends of mine including Barry got into a 92 Ford tempo each wearing like 3 sprays of joop. It was UNBEARABLE
Agreed, this is a great fragrance IF USED WITH 1 or 2 sprays in cold weather in non work situations. FACTS. Also, it is soooo similar (DRYDOWN) to Individuel that the hate is socking...🙄
Bobby Bobson .. Hey Bob, I agree today’s version is weaker. The opening is still a beast don’t get me wrong. But as it settles it becomes very subtle within about 30 mins or less. It’s definitely not the power house it use to be! Because i rock about 4 to 5 sprays and in closed spaces and it still sits close to the skin before you know it, so the sillage and projection has definitely changed. I still rock it and get lots of compliments but from people that are right next to me most of all!

I agree... I bought this blindly and have regretted it... Waaaay too sweet... More suitable for a teenager or young college student. Too sweet and definitely cloying. Will be a donation to local thrift store.
I have the Coty version Joop Homme it's good smells more synthetic but still good longevity I had in 2008 and 2009 and 2010 the Lancaster version Homme Joop definitely better and worth it more solid notes and spicier and more nuclear .....

Correction. The vintage of this is one of the best and most potent fragrances ever. Todays version is pure garbage. Smells different and does not last or project very well. Doomed by reformulation like all the rest. Reformulation like this should not be allowed. It just renders a fragrance useless. Whats the point of wearing it?
Not a great fragrance anymore. A common trend today. Weak non projecting fragrances in fancy bottles and boxes for years now. And we the customers keep on buying this shit. Last few times i have been to macys the fragrance section totally empty

Two sprays of current formulation is nothing. U need the vintage for that. Todays joop is junk

There was a creepy guy at a club in my town that always wore this, you could always smell this on him through the club full of people, it's strong.

Vintage was a masterpiece. Todays version is sweet cough syrup with no projection

joop is just a Classic
This was the sauvage and one million of the early nineties. Now one million is reformulated also and sucks and probably sauvage also who knows
