Remember you can move rooms by just holding left mouse down on the room for a while before dragging
Felt I remember seeing the game mention it too but started second guessing myself
I missed the game saying that too. Super cool though! Game should probably like force the player to do that as an early quest since it's so unintuitive.

I verified with the devs on their discord server and the sneak mechanic was removed from the game for a variety of reasons including significant changes in the rogue-like aspects of the game and player feedback etc.
@@fullmoonshadow6967 The devs are constantly working on the game and just today released a major patch so it still might be something you'd like. Obviously your taste is your taste and I'm not going to tell you what to like but letting you know it's still evolving and might be worth looking into again. There'll probably be another major patch in a couple weeks too.

not sure if you’ve realised but i think blast on the shamen isn’t actually random, it cycles through the character it’ll hit with a blue arrow overhead them when you hover the action, so if you time it right it’ll hit whoever you want @Retromation

Based on 18:38 and the other ambushes I have seen in your videos, I am guessing ambushes happen if battle starts *while they are walking away* from you. (Although I saw another commenter say that left-shift or right click act as a sneak button, so who knows.)

Great series! For the traits can you change the active traits or is it more like the inactive ones are “recessive” and are only available through alchemy? I could have sworn the tutorial said something about that but I guess I won’t know until I buy the game for myself 😂

Ah! I think it makes you put another staircase on a brand new level first so you don't accidentally not put one.
The devblog from a year ago claims sneak is left shift. Or left bumper on controller. Dunno if that changed.
Bleed is too OP if high dmg, and often useless if even medium dmg. It's hard to balance! Like, really, DOT is one of the hardest things to balance in games.
I used to work in a game dev company, right. I was in a certain MMORPG dev team. I was a debugger for the most part, but also part of the rebalancing team after every major update.
Anyway, at some point, the game I was working on introduced DOTs: Bleed, Ignite, and Poison. Oh, what a hell it was to balance, we had to change Bleed into, "Prevent the use of physical skills," instead of DOT. We gave up making Ignite a DOT, and instead, turned it into a skill that can kill full-resistance, extremely low HP monsters in one or three ticks. Full-resistance monsters can only receive 0-1 damage from any source except Ignite, but they typically only have 1% of common monster health (typically 12000 at the time), so Ignite became useful in the end.
Poison..... It was hard. I quit the company before we get to successfully solve its rebalance. Now, FIVE YEARS LATER, they decided to release Poison Assassin sub-class, that can stack poison DOT and either explode it or absorb it for health. They completely gave up rebalancing the base poison DOT and just make a new class for that, it's hilarious 😂
Anyway, yeah, DOT is hard to balance, because big number smack is easier and faster

goblins are built to be sacrificed - I mean retired
