Matteo Siefert I don’t really I understand what you meant by that but they have been a Le Mans since the ford Gt came back in 2016 and this year was theyre last year.
@@cristianromero5790 Indeed and that was one hell of a great journey but the FIA released the new ruleset for the 2020/21 season where you can either build a prototype or a hyper car based on a production car and Ford competing in that classement for the overall Le Mans victory would be amazing to see!

Up to the release of this gt, the old gt40 and the lamborghini miura was the most beautiful cars, in my opinion, now its this gt, and the old gt40. Miura 2nd place. No 3rd place 😀
Agreed, this is an example of why I like to style cars around the areo, rather than just tacking it on near the end of the design process. The is car just looks so clean, stylish and sexy compared to most other cars that prioritize aero.
I've gotta say, the new DeTomaso P72 is more better looking

Hmmm, a car for lemans. Well the mustang may do it, nah it has that V8 making it guzzle fuel fast. If only they had......... looks like it's back to the drawing board either to make a I'm thinking of a 4L TT + Supercharged F5 Engine that makes 700 hp or more. And active aero and name it something like The Falcon or The Salmon or maybe The (what ever name).

The Mustang will actually be a good lemans racer and wouldn'tbe penalized by BoP like the GT was. The GT had such an advantage in aerodynamics over its competitors that BoP ended up punishing it with weight increases, power reductions and other things. It was the least powerful car in the group due to BoP.

This may seem like a dumb question but aren't all Ford GT's limited edition?
And one final note this car should have had a V-8 it would have made it more special.
But the main down side on this particular version is that it's not street legal so it's semi pointless.
So its ok for Ferrari and Lamborghini to make a track only car but not Ford? I'm pretty sure there welcoming the competition. This car can pull 2G's in the corners, I'm sure it's up to par.

Lol no one is walking away with one for 60k after dealer mark ups. It’s still a hell of a car at 80-100k. But to compete with the other super cars you would need to purchase the ZR1 that’s supposed to be around 600hp the more expensive model coming because that 490 HP base model ain’t gonna cut it.

Too bad its not a 4.0L flat plane crank twin turbo V8
It would never fit into the GT's smaller engine bay because of the teardrop shape. This is why they swapped from V8 to V6 for a reason. Their twin turbos and aerodynamic performance will do the rest.
