The Korg Volca Keys sells for $150 USD (£134) so I do not understand why people think this should cost £200. On the other hand, the Uno Synth Pro Desktop sells for $270 USD so I think the increase in price is excessive for essentially the same synth with more knobs / better interface. I expect to see holiday sales that will reduce the price by 20 - 25%. I will be interested to see comparisons between the Uno Synth Pro X and the Behringer PRO-800 which is similar in price.

Every demo I've seen of this unit seems to REALLY want to push the overdrive feature on this thing, but (at least over youtube videos) it sounds like an overdrive that is particularly lacking any kind of depth of texture or nuance, especially if it is supposed to be a core selling point of the unit. Judging by the specs I get an impression something like "let's take inspiration from a MiniMoog, but shoehorn it into only being useful for acid techno."
Always enjoying your videos and enthusiasm! The synth however, not for me. I guess you'd *really* have to value the analog circuitry to justify this price point for a portable synth without a proper keybed. Maybe it was just bad luck, but none of the randomly chosen presets impressed me much.
I think this video might have an undesirable effect on sales of this device, which is rare for an Andertons Synth & Keys video. To be fair though, I’ve watched a lot of videos on this new synth which have all been effervescent with excitement and I am yet to hear any sounds from it that help me to understand why.
Let keep it simple. This synth is "meh" imo. I honestly haven't heard any sounds that have blown me away at this price point. I can do more with the Roland S-1 and it's crazy parameters. I was really waiting for this to be released, too, given the company's great reputation.
I just don’t see what all the fuss is about. It sounds good and it looks cool, but not much more then plenty of other synths out there. With all the excitement I was expecting something novel or at least a synth that sounds awesome for the price.
Have fun mapping to a midi controller that would cost almost as much as this synth. Just saw a B-stock one for £339. I think I'm going to pick one up just to run VSTs through the filters
I have the first model and that is a toy in feel and sometimes sound. The touch buttons are a very bad idea.......Been trying to sell it for over a year

It seems universal these days... Korg little drum machine goes for 6 US hundreds... dear god.
The Ultranova is hardly a knob tweaker's synth though. The most inaccessible interface ever. I sold mine.

This one is exposing the manufacturer/ reviewer hype eco- system...and not in a good way
I wonder if you can run the sequence with plenty of automations but without notes in the seq, to play notes from a keyboard

A little expensive for what it is, anyway this is the best synthesizer that IK multimedia has released, I think it's great.
