animated movies could save a lot of money by casting this girl for every single role
And Brian Hull for the Male roles
It’s very common in animated shows to have the same actor do 2-4 characters even up to like 6-8 in some cases.
If you look it up, it’s common for one person to voice like maybe 2 or 3 main characters/big roles, and than do a bunch of supporting characters as well
Animated movies have the last two/three decades focused a lot on getting celebrities or big names to create buzz and draw people in to theatres.
The casting is basically their main marketing towards adults, so they want to cast as many different people as they can for their money. More names to put in the poster, and more people to write articles about and who can do interviews.
Its kind of sad development with animated movies because a lot of movies would have benefited greatly from having people with more experience with voice acting.
