Do you have any suggestions of what I should do to prepare for trying to become a voice actress? I've been acting since I was 5 and I've always talked to myself with specific different voices. I've recently noticed that I get very uncomfortable when people watch me act and I can't control my face when acting, so I thought I should go into voice acting. I just want some tips on how I should go about this at an early age. Do you have any suggestions on activities to do in my free time? Just for context, I'm a freshman in highschool. Theater and improv are probably the best things you can do but singing and stand-up comedy and on-camera acting are also helpful. :) just keep performing and having fun!
I wonder how many of these various characters over the years are done by the same voice actress, just out of curiosity. I always thought you nailed a lot of some basically legendary VAs from 90s-2000s, but that's just me. What about the old stuff, like the really old Disney stuff, were those the same lady for several years, or no? I'm curious if it was like... "Oh this character was a so-and-so role, but she tweaked it some way" ... I could probably look this up easily, but that's less fun.
