I'm a native of San Francisco, always lovingly with great appreciation visiting the Tea Garden, nearby some small lakes, you can find all types of ducks, birds, turtles, etc., sharing the views with the visitors. And across the street is the beautiful huge area of Botanical Garden. The weather was so lovely few days after 2019 Xmas, I went and enjoyed it very much.

I grew up 3 blocks away, and would often go down in the early morning before it opened and sneak around without anyone else there....I remember the day it snowed and my older brother took me to the Arboretum and we squeezed through the bars and walked through before school - magical!

I'm glad this park just popped into my head, I need the feeling of it here in the future! I was born in San Francisco in 1957, my parents were artists and real live Beatniks. We were only there until I was four and then they took me adventuring in Europe for a year. With all that wild input, I never forgot the Japanese Tea Garden. Probably went there only 2 or 3 times in the first three years of my life, but it's still in my memory now! I remember crawling over that bridge, even! So glad to know it's not a big stack of condominiums today and is the same as it was 60 years ago... Did I just say that? Ouch!

So glad you could get that memory from my video! I grew up 3 blocks from there, and this place was an essential part of my youth....

nice video it portrays very well the peace of mind you can get there in contrast with the hustling and bustling of the financial area

Exactly. I used to LOVE taking people there who'd never experienced that. It would always surprise them.

Went here August 2017. So beautiful, so peaceful. This video brings back memories that I cherish forever with my ex wife. Someday I wish to visit again and view this amazing place and amazing city
