This has got to be the most mismanaged rock bands of all time. They should have had much higher national success. They are with out a doubt one of the most talented Canadian rock bands of all time! They are great live too!
I would say Honeymoon Suite is just as good as April Wine and both bands I consider better than Triumph. Rush is still my favorite Canadian band. I agree Honeymoon Suite really should have been just as big as other Canadian bands.
Bit of a contradiction there, Canadian rock band. Only joking, totally agree, wish I was 40 years or more years younger. My fave is still "What does it take ? "
I remember being blown away by this track back in 1986 - I could hardly believe that this was the same band that broke into the recording industry with "New Girl Now". I think that Ray outdid himself when he penned this track, and his keyboard work, although subtle in much of this track according to my ears, just fits like a glove, especially the opening texture. Johnnie and Derry swung for the bleachers on this track, and each one hit a home run out of the park. Over the years I've heard and liked so many hard rock tracks that I don't think that I could possibly count all of them, but this one still ranks somewhere in my top 20. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honeymoon_Suite
Another gem by them. Always liked them, but didn't actually end up owning their albums until the 2010's. I was stuck being obsessed with Glass Tiger first and all other Canadian 80's bands second.
A GREAT song from a great band. I loved this song back in the day, along with several others they had. And it's still rockin' - all these years later. I'd love to catch them live.
I loved this song. One of the very first compact discs I ever brought. Great Album! Thank God I never saw this video. Music videos were best when it just showcased the Artists performing their music.
I'm right there with you, Mark! Turned 506 months ago, and this is right in my wheel-house. Definitely part of the soundtrack of my Life - for sure! Good stuff!
This was their only top 40 hit in the U.S. making them one hit wonders (atleast in the states), albeit their songs "New Girl Now" was in an episode of Miami Vice, and "What Does it Take" in the film One Crazy Summer.
Who was at the knightswood theatre show at Canadas Wonderland back in the day? Johnny broke that glass like a bad ass 😎 that’s all i remember given I was a little baby at the time but man everyone went nuts 🤣 great memories ❤️🔥
It has been so many years that Honeymoon suite came to the House of Lords hair design in St Catharines. It was 1985, I can't believe the passing of time. What a day that was..I remember there were so many ppl there..I was almost arrested for insighting a riot. Omg..all I could think of was the front window buckling to the weight of them pushing against it. Some meet and greet. Good times..hope you're all ok. Just brought back memories.. There were girls coming in afterward looking for Kleenex or your hair clippings...anything of yours.
You know one thing I learned a lot of times it's not that a band was underated it was they would get no airplay on the radio stations always play the same bands and songs over and over and over and over..........
Lyrics : If you would just be sensible, you'd find me indispensable I pray deep down to destiny That it places you with me, Whoa, wanting you here, in the sheets Wanderin' around incomplete, Waiting so long, to... [Chorus:] Feel it again (Feel it again) I thought that this heart would never mend To feel it again I know this is the living end To feel it again (Feel it again) I thought that this heart would never mend To feel it again I know this is the living end Another scratched or scribbled note To handsome men in overcoat Deception right in front of me A jealous fantasy. Whoa, something that sets you apart, Tightens your grip on my heart Don't ever let it go, 'Til I... [Chorus] All that I know (To feel it again) Is people may come and people may go I don't really care (To feel it again) As long as you're there As long as you're there [Chorus]
Honeymoon suite...ha! That would be really cool if we actually got to have a honeymoon and make love on our honeymoon, like we seemed to have missed out on before. I guess without true love, it all makes more sense looking back. Those people did not love us, like we love each other. It's just very different.
Ha ha!!! My wife and I slept in separate beds on our wedding night cuz she was mad at me for having too much to drink at the reception. 32 years later we still laugh about it.
If the video had been shot within the last 10 yrs it would have been much better. The song was released almost 22 yrs ago. These guys were as talented as any band in North America.
@@petersmith1788 Yes Peter, this was the mid 80's. The 90's introduced us to "grunge" with Nirvana. Other popular bands of the decade included Green Day, Soundgarden, Radiohead, Pantera, Guns'N'Roses, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Oasis, U2, Queen etc..........
Its likely no one noticed when it was filmed but when the video effects were added it messed up the colours, blurred it and make it look skin colour. His hair isn't even the right colour, looks too reddish
Lol: when I was in college I had it bad for a Rather attractive young lady who looked a lot like the one in the e video. I think i did even worse in my efforts to reel her in than our friend in the video
Great song; awful video. This video so desperately tries to outdo the truly innovative video for "Burning In Love" that it just comes-out completely garish. A performance video would have been so much better.
Great song but unfortunately a very bad concept video. A band performance video would have been a whole lot better with a little bit of a storyline at most. This ranks up there with Night Ranger's "Four in the morning" video as a great song almost ruined by a terrible concept video. This song would have probably gone Top 10 in the U.S. had they made a different video.
This has got to be the most mismanaged rock bands of all time. They should have had much higher national success. They are with out a doubt one of the most talented Canadian rock bands of all time! They are great live too!
Thank you for not saying "underrated"
Agreed, one of my all time favorites
I would say Honeymoon Suite is just as good as April Wine and both bands I consider better than Triumph. Rush is still my favorite Canadian band. I agree Honeymoon Suite really should have been just as big as other Canadian bands.
Bit of a contradiction there, Canadian rock band.

Underrated band, they sound incredible and are great live! Classic Canadian 80's rock!
This is one of the first cd's I purchased and the whole cd or album is good! My last semester of college I wore this out!
There's always the guy who posts the "underrated" comment. What mother were you all born from?
Definitely
Saw them in 84 Maple leaf gardens, I appreciate them even more today.
this was a cutting edge video back in the day!!!
Wow im 59 years young and doesn't this still jam!!
"Feel It Again" is in the top ten list of songs that defined the 1980s.
Best band that describes my feel for 80s rock. Amazing music and should have been more famous
This song always fills me with glee, great uplifting tune!
Feel it again? I never stopped feeling it!!! God bless
This song rocks! Great band. I love the music video also.
That's some fine and tasty guitar playing. As well as a well crafted song with some nice harmonies. Loved the 80's

I LOVE This song AND the video.......cheesy, yes, but wonderful; it was 1985 & you had to be there, so THERE!!!
Cheesy yes. So true
Cheesy YES but so good!!!!!
It was in 1986. :)
Another gem by them. Always liked them, but didn't actually end up owning their albums until the 2010's. I was stuck being obsessed with Glass Tiger first and all other Canadian 80's bands second.
What a beautifully crafted Master piece.. this proves that the pinnacle of music was the eighties
I saw them in the 80's when these songs came out. One of Canada's greatest bands. 🤪🤟
Just saw them at the Centre in the Square in Kitchener last night, April 2024, and they still rock!
I don’t always listen to Feel It Again, but when I do the neighbors do as well.
I do that too 😂😅
Yeah, my neighbors even broke one of my windows so they could hear it louder! 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😱😱😱😱😱😱
Uplifting track 😃😎
I don't always see the same lame recycled comment on videos, but when I do it's this one.
Same❤❤❤❤❤❤
Remember this from my teenage years, loved it then and still do, so underrated, they should have made it bigger, much like lover boy
Another awesome tune after all these years ❤️.
A GREAT song from a great band. I loved this song back in the day, along with several others they had. And it's still rockin' - all these years later. I'd love to catch them live.
Awesome song. Terrific band.
I miss the 80s!
Oh man, do I miss the 80's
Yes we do
love this group for almost 30 years
This escaped me in 80's, great song. Thanks to radio station "107.9 the mix" I'm listening to you at least now.
Everything great about 80s music💖
Can not listen to the start of that song enough times!!
I loved this song. One of the very first compact discs I ever brought. Great Album! Thank God I never saw this video. Music videos were best when it just showcased the Artists performing their music.
Saw them open for .38 Special at Pine Knob in Detroit back in the 80s. Great doubleheader!
I turned 50 this summer, but when the song came on the radio today my neighbors got to listen to it with me just like when I was a teen.
Hell yeah!
I'm right there with you, Mark! Turned 506 months ago, and this is right in my wheel-house. Definitely part of the soundtrack of my Life - for sure! Good stuff!
Lol
I guess you're 53 now I'm 52 I completely get it brothaaaa !
Great song! Great band. Loved listening to these guys from the classic 80s era.
I forgot about this great song.
Love this and love Honeymoon Suite. I got to see you guys at McNichols Arena in Denver when I was in high school.
Man, I'm rediscovering these guys 30 years later. I didn't realize that they had so many hits.
Me too 👐
Name more than 2
Are you from Canada?
@@wiegajc Heres three: 1) What does it take 2) Bad attitude 3) new girl now

This is a great song!
Miami vice forever... Greath quality... Thanks
Derek Miller honey moon suite feel it again rocks north of the border from 1986 and keeps rockin as feb 14 2023
Their only American Top 40 single as it reached #34 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1986. Rocking tune that I have loved since I heard it then!!
THEY ARE CANADIAN! NOT AMERICAN.
Their only Top 40 hit on the American Billboard Hot 100 chart for the Canadian group!! GEESH
It should of been higher. People don't have a taste for songs
Love it!!
Honeymoon suite they played Oshawa on New year's Day I couldn't believe it it was great

Wow I saw this guy's there cool I'm a Canadian girl I love them still listening to them n watch the video s Wow go guy's
Happy 59th Birthday John Richard DeGiuli 10/20/61 And many, many more.
Canadian Metal is so underrated.
Except this isn't Metal. Hard Rock, yes, but Metal? Not this band.
@@bobthebear1246 Agreed. But Bad Attitude and New Girl Now are close to metal...
I saw them live a few years ago. They were great!!
This was their only top 40 hit in the U.S. making them one hit wonders (atleast in the states), albeit their songs "New Girl Now" was in an episode of Miami Vice, and "What Does it Take" in the film One Crazy Summer.
One of Canadas finest

1:20 guitar solo is amazing
Great full to live in Eastern Michigan

I think you mean like 32-33 years ago. It was definitely the mid 80s, not the 90s. The 90s didn't produce any rock and roll at this level.
I agree with you I'm 60 and I still listen to this hot song and music on FM radio
1985

Getting his steps in!
Mtv music television
Starting at 1:28- Who chose the colour of what is hanging out of Johnnie's shorts? I did a major double take.

lol, you made me go see what you were talking about....that's funny
As bad as this video was, I seem to recall it being in the top 10 of MTV's most requested videos for a while.
awesome song also the most 80s video of the 80s lol 😅
feel it again, when you watched you might think , and wanted to duplicate the video with 5,000 dollars. Still a fantastic song, very timeless.
One of the very best CDs I have ever bought. Every track is great. Awesome cover art. They just don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
Directed by Daniel Kleinman, who does the newer James Bond opening credits.
Perfect song to play if you successfully return to the gym after a long absence.
Soooooo much better than New Girl Now
Can agree with that
Ok I think I got the "Federico Verteramo,"
The 45 dislikes better be for the video and NOT the song!
Trust me; they are.
Ummm. could the man be any more suggestive than he is at 1:28? LOL

Talk about a low budget video. HA!
This video is terrible lol but so very 80s. Even the most terrible 80s videos have that certain charm to them lol
Bad video,
better if we just forget about it.
No away guys you just have to listen to it twice day
I love the heart bed of nails love hate pain forever Hell iz my Home yummy
I'm not a fan of any group I made I love my Words and my Sound that's it besides they all ripped me off
