  • At first glance it looked simple as crap jaja.... but an hour and some change later i'm barely finishing up. With rushing to get it on, I skipped a bunch of steps, and cost me to work triple lol. But overall any DIY'er can do this themselves.

    i did the charge pipe and burger tune on my 2008 335i and planning the same on my x1 35i. it made a big difference.

      I already know that opened it up!! I plan to eventually get to the power modding stage, but first maintenance before i blow something up 😂🙌🏾. How you liking your x1 man??

      @@JonSantiagoRAW it is such a fun little ride. Quick and agile but some practical. I also like that you don't see many around like the X3 (also a great vehicle).

      Yea its like a 3 series but with a bigger roof 😎👌🏾👌🏾. With the xhp flash it really makes it that more fun! I maybe seen 3 other x1s here in my area. So i feel pretty special 😂😂

    Have you ever thought of doing a performance air filter......e.g. K&N.

    • @JonSantiagoRAW
      @JonSantiagoRAW  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Matthew Turner man actualy i have 😁! But im actually ordering the burger motorsports intake instead. For the price of a k&n filter, i figured i might as well just order the full intake. Have you done it?? Just the filter?

      No mods as yet, be nice to know if the filter would make much difference....?

      Sounds like a plan man. Great to see your views on X1's, keep up the great work. I feel these are very underrated BMW's I've only had mine for a few weeks and already love it.

      Matthew Turner its actually the reason why i started making these videos. I couldn’t find any thing on here about the x1 exept a couple videos here and there. And especially for the 35i. I agree with you 100% about these x1s!! Super underrated!! Hope to prove that via this channel 🤓✊🏾

    I did my install recently and I came across your install video while I was doing some research on my install. One main comment I have is that if you look closely at time stamp 3:33 the OEM charge pipe has a ton of clearance to those power steering lines on the driver side. When you look at the final install of the VRSF pipe, the pipe is pressing against those lines. I am installing my pipe and saw the same issue, I am actually going to cut the flexible connection on the end with the smaller diameter so that the pipe will route inboard more and provide the lines more clearance. After time driving around with vibration, dirt, and heat I can see those lines getting damaged. Let me know what you think.

      Its funny you say that because every time i open my hood its the first thing i look at 😅. I have planned on re routing the lines. So far no issues and lines have held up with no sign of melting or tearing. But i do agree with you on the issue.

    Sooooo much easier than my e92 coupe. Didn’t need to remove a thing to gain access.
    1. Rubber coupling on the IC. 2. Pipe on throttle body. 3. Join the two together. 135/335i FTP works for me. It does contact the steering fluid bracket.

      Awesome!! Yea i havent gotten around to working out a way to not contact, but havent had any issues that i can see as of yet. Ill have to check again and see if it has rubbed into the hoses.

    Thanks for this! Crazy the old one was cracked. Did you notice any difference in the intake sound after it was installed?

    • @JonSantiagoRAW
      @JonSantiagoRAW  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      SunbatherProductions and cracked right at the seal too so i knew it was a matter of time 😂. As far as sound goes, no no difference really. I’ll have to prop hood open and give it a couple revs when i get home to really see if theres any noise difference. Ill get back to you on that! 😁✌🏾
