Thank you, I appreciate your support and kind words! It is an honor to have you as a student. Do you have plans for another certification now that you have earned your PMP?
Your videos, and the PMP prep course have helped me immensely. (Anyone studying for the PMP should take the prep course!) If you ever create a refresher series, I'd be interested. I think there's a market for PMPs working in non-traditional PM roles (who may also be aspiring to move into roles/fields that more closely align with the framework you teach) that may forget some of what was learned for the exam. Though, these videos certainly help. And, I am not sure if it's in your wheelhouse, but another idea for videos could be something geared toward the PMP job seeker. (Where to focus, buzzwords, current trends, etc.) Thank you for all of your amazing content!
Thank you for your kind words of encouragement, referral, and excellent suggestions. I appreciate you and am honored to count you as my valued student. You have added some valuable feedback here that is certainly content for my team and me to work on putting together for future videos. What learning goals can we help you with as you move forward into 2023? Are there any courses or certifications you are working towards that we can assist you with this year?
Useful tips sir. Like to know how to go about becoming a Trainer coach and build a career as independent consultant coach or work with pmi authorised ATP
I am glad you enjoyed the video and I hope it brings value to your future success. I hope you will watch the other videos in the series as well. Our team will certainly add these topics to our future videos list for consideration. We appreciate and value your input. #keepmovingforward
I have been an HOA Manager for 13 years. I am looking into starting the journey of becoming a PM. Can I use the experience from the projects I’ve managed in the HOA industry as experience hours on my application?
It is very likely that you can use your experience on your application. For each project, you should document: Project name and description Dates you worked on the project (start and end) Your role and responsibilities within the project The organization or client for which the project was conducted The number of hours you worked on the project For each project, write a brief description that outlines the project's objectives, the challenges you faced, and the results achieved. Be concise but clear. Focus on the project's relevance to project management. You will need to provide contact information for individuals who can verify your project experience. These should be colleagues or supervisors who can confirm your role and the details of the projects. I hope this information is helpful and I hope to celebrate with you when you complete your courses and pass your exam!
I got your training long time ago, but didnt get exam. Can you also share some short information on Twitter? It is better to see major items daily. Thanks

How to know what industry to choose for a New Project Manager after CAPM certification. Please answer this, I'm confused because my background is in Software Development but I'm not good at coding. Thank You
Choosing the right industry for a new project manager role after obtaining the CAPM certification involves a thoughtful process. Some considerations to help you determine the most suitable industry for your career as a project manager would be self-assessment, industry research, networking, Market trends evaluation, consideration of transferable skills, and job market analysis. Remember that the right industry for you depends on your personal preferences, career goals, and the alignment of your skills with the industry's needs. Take the time to thoroughly research and evaluate your options before making a decision.
Hi Joseph - Your Udemy PMP Prep course and your TH-cam videos are really helpfull and very informative. Actually I would like to ask for your guidance on level of technical skills that a project manager should have in managing IT projects e..g if a non technical PM try to get in IT domain then what would be the minimum level technical knowledge that he/she should have. Also I would like to know on any specific technical areas in general a project manager should have to be able to successfully manage projects in today's dynamic changing environment.
Thank you very much for being one of my valued students. I appreciate you! This is a loaded question that I cannot answer completely because I do not know all your background information. However, you always need relevant knowledge in the domain discipline where you manage the progress (e.g., healthcare, construction, It, etc.). I wrote a book on IT project management that you can check out here: www.amazon.com/CompTIA-Certified-Technical-Trainer-Guide/dp/0071771166/ref=sr_1_2?qid=1669980268&refinements=p_lbr_one_browse-bin%3AJoseph+Phillips&s=books&sr=1-2 Agile is becoming more predominant in IT project management.
