Might want to update the title there, calling the president just "Ramaphosa" is disrespectful never mind getting the name wrong
He's useless any name will do, you can even call him "that thing" 😂😅😂😅
"amaphosa" 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Zimbabwe we are already enjoying starlink, 😅
Who's amaphosa ?
😂
@Kholmi.28 They looking for money...shares! Greed
I think people don’t understand the product, if you have a school in the out back of SA you can set up starlink for the whole school and the kids can get fast internet, so it allows kids to get fast internet so I’m sure it will allow the kids to be connected like our schools in big cities. Great product, it’s already in other African countries.
amaposa must be stopped. Devine God and ancestors of SA please stop hiim
He won't give you 50% of His company said don't even try
He is in partnership with the Chinese for tesla to the Chinese, why can't he give 50% of the South African operation to South Africans ? or are we only good as a market for our American overlords ?
That's why elon musk must give him his favorite cap and hat #GFY like he did 2 the rest that want to dictate with their destroyer mindset that benefits them and exploits the rest of us in this beautiful country
Not enough people are talking about the impact that starlink would have on the workforce in our telecommunications industry in south africa
Let urban people deal with that. We annot suffer for thar in the villages!
Starlink will fail in South Africa. Too expensive 😂
😂
If people in Zimbabwe can afford it why can't we afford it
@@thembinkosindabula6063 who said they can afford it? Majority of zim population don't even care about starlink because it is too expensive.
@@HumanRaisedHerit’s at capacity in 65% of Harare as is. I know because I’ve been trying to buy for the past three days.
Amaphosa like funny things: we are still waiting for smart cities and fast trains.😂😂😂😂
Starlink wants to come to South Africa? We already have Rain - it’s not perfect, but at least we know what to expect! 😂 Starlink might just leave us broke and staring at the sky. Better the Rain we know than the Starlink we don’t
Low iq reasoning
Isn't starlink's purpose to be used in villages with bad signal.
@@thembinkosindabula6063 Starlink is great for places with bad signal, like villages, but it’s also meant for cities and towns. The real issue is the price-it’s high for most people, whether you're in a village or the city. Let’s be honest, we all know how our economy is. If the guy in the interview says it’s expensive, imagine how much harder it will be for villagers.
Mark rural Areas out of this, Starlink services are expensive
Once we have Starlink we can roleout AI security to fight crime with realtime data, all over SA.
The great 'R' or Ramadollar🤣
Truth is the starlink is not going to be useful for South Africans. It’s very expensive. I wish we could look at local providers and see how we can innovate locally to make internet available to even the most remote places. We also need to reduce internet prices. Internet is expensive here. We don’t need another international company to come exploit our people with crazy prices. We don’t need star link. Let’s fix our local issues, let’s get the pricing right.
I agree with local infrastructure but they can't even give my money which they stole everybody knows what happen 2 me yet I am being deprived from spending my money
We dont have a local launch industry so we cant replicate it
@@olafnilsen1641 it does not have to be satellite though, we can go with Fixed Wireless Broadband, Community Mesh Networks, etc. I m sure the smart people in SA can figure something out that is affordable for our people. Our problem is not the tech but the pricing of the tech.
I don't where you live but it's going useful for people living in remote villages.
Wasn't there someone on Twitter asking Elon when is Starlink going to be launched. As this will transform education specifically
City dwellers are not going to tell us what is going to be useful for us and what's not. Infact, seat down and watch, this matter is for villagers, remote famers, business people and government.
How much would the Starlink satellite dish and monthly premiums cost in South Africa?
Why bother apply for rain only 600 pm you are sorted ,starlink is $53 about R950
Who is bigger ... ICASA or Starlink?
Of course Starlink!
ICASA is by far the junior of Starlink and therefore ICASA must apply for a license agreement to connect to Starlink.
As the senior partner, Starlink must dictate the terms of licensing to ICASA and not the other way round!
Starlink must demand non - racialism from ICASA as precondition before approving an ICASA license.
ICASA has no idea of it's own (in)significance in relation to Starlink.
We now need adults in ICASA to secure this Starlink deal!
If he can't afford it, how can we?
We dont want it
Ngubani igama lamanyani le President ? ✍️
Dont connect public sector to this, only citizens
TH-cam title writer on tik again?! 😂😂😂
No
We dnt need it, there are cheaper options.
Have some respect for our president! We don't want Starlink, Elon can kick rocks!
I do
Do you even know how to plant one seed?
Bro Who is we? 😂 we are tired of being fucked in the ass by Vodacom
Naledi you need to go. You speak up for criminals instead of innocent victims and citizens. Naledi must be cancelled
This a clear cut deal but will come with a lot of resistance. It is a simple cyber technology that can be implemented in a blink of an eye without any tender. Unfortunately that is the downfall for the ANC and would want their fingers in the pie. Who in their right mind would spend billions to benefit the world and then when they come to South Africa share their hard work with BEE .
Great point you making that's why I will not invest here because of this on going bs sad how a country should suffer by the likes of greedy humans as you mentioned
Starlink is a NSA/CIA spy tool, if ramaphosa pushes this through, he's the biggest sellout of all time 😢😢🎉
Yall make up some wild conspiracy theories. How did you think of this one buddy?
Will he be the sellout 2 Russian propaganda that South africa still keep alive
LOL like the CIA doesn't already have access to EVERY single piece of technology you touch already
Amaphosa 🤣🤣😂😂
😂
Starlink is expensive and it's bad for local Telecommunications companies
So it's all OK we get ripped off with expensive mobile data and cellphones?
Same local companies that sell data in Mozambique CHEAPER than they do in SA? Can't milk South Africa forever.
What has starlink coming to south africa has to do with Ukraine war? white realy like Ukraine and hate Russia.
CIA SPY
Even if the company is outside RSA must abide to the rules because its potential customers are here! Other foriegn companies abide by SA rules. screw starlink.
Stay in the city and shut up! We need Starlink
@LukeRev480 why then have laws if Starlink will not abide ?
Ever think the laws are actually detrimental to economic growth in SA?
What's amaphosa?
a traitor
amaphosa
aMaPhorisa
DJ Maphoria
Get a life..he is not right wing...
ukranie war???
lies, yall have not been in space
