Man I absolutely loved this game. Played it for countless hours. My favorite was always thumper, the fire special just melted enemies. Plus all the other things like freeze bombs, napalm, was so fun.
It's so funny how people are complaining about Horizon Zero Dawn, Death Stranding, and now Days Gone are getting PC releases and yet their not aware that this and the original Twisted Metal got PC releases as well.
I don't think that Sony fully owned the Twisted Metal IP untill after the first 2 games had been released and even after that SingleTrac still owned the games engine.
Not sure why people complain about games coming out on more platforms. Weird and I agree with you. A lot of immature grown ups in the gaming scene that never mentally got out of high school.

Listen, I play this game endlessly. It would be NOTHING without Spectre. Those ghost missiles traveling through walls is the game-changer of this game. A genius character. And he's fast!
This level is more creative than all of Twisted Metal Black's levels combined. All of TMB's levels look the same. Whereas its predecessor had a wide variety of scenery, and on an inferior console at that! Where the fuck does that make sense?
@@jmackey0718 I tried the game tonight with no luck. In the past all you needed to do was copy and paste the setup disk into a folder on the root of the C:. Everything ran perfectly and now yup get the memory error.
It works for me on windows 10, XP Service pack 3 compatibility mode(with disabled full screen optimizations). I copied the CD files to a folder, the installer not working for me. I still get memory error sometimes.
My game is loading till 43 seconds and after that nothing comes on the screen and only loading sound is coming. after that nothing and game exits. I have loaded registry also and still nothing is working. this is my favorite game. Pls tell me how to make it play. I am using windows 10 now.
Dude.. how the heck do you do special moves like freeze, shield, jump, etc.. I know how to do them on the PS1 but PC they just flat out don't work. Even with all the correct locations mapped to my controller it still doesn't work. Left, Right, Up doesn't freeze. Up, up, left doesn't jump.. etc.. It's killing me. I can't play this game without being able to do these.
In Twisted Metal 2 for some reason dgvoodoo 2 does not work for me. Either the game does not see it or omitted it, I don't know what the problem is. I have to play in freaking 800x600 resolution and with a lock on 25 frames.
wow it actually looks worse with the resolution smoothed out. The missiles aren't really colored like they are supposed to be and something seems just empty... can't put my finger on it. Outlaw don't sound right and only seems to be doing one hit instead of 2 with the special. The computer is acting super dumb
Look at how fast the games selection and loading is doing. I promise you the game was designed to run on the older cycles of the processor and it's not running right because the game is trying to run at light speed because modern processors are stupid fast compared to the older processors. It's using code to correct this and as a result, it works but certain things break.

If you aren't getting any music in your emulator, it may be because of the type of file you downloaded your game as. If it's Bin/Cue, it may be an improperly written cue file. If ISO/mp3, you should try changing audio settings or use an emulator that supports different audio plugins.

I believe L1, Up, Down, Left at the Character Select is how you get Minion. If that's who you are referring to that is, lol. The only other army vehicle is Warthog & he's default.
