There were a couple different broken specials. Mr Slam's (if you could get to hit) would either outright kill or do like 80%. Minion's was crazy because of the sheer damage, free freeze missile and the insanely fast regeneration time
@@TheRealBDouble well most of them come with some caveat. grimm gets killed easily, thumper's is hard to land the whole thing because they start moving around, like you said slam's takes good control to use. You gotta be good to make them work. (minion is a secret character, he's supposed to be broken)
Dude, ya almost got me crushing on ya with how good you are at Twisted Metal. The way you destroyed Slam and Roadkill in Moscow was amazing. Your personality is funny and enjoyable too, subscribed!
He's also good to keep alive due to how docile he is, and he often burns himself. I've noticed that AI tend to take full damage from fire (not direct shots from napalm or even his flamethrower, but being on fire for a short period) compared to taking very little damage from everything else they fire at each other. What would've been interesting with the AI would be infighting based on some form of rival system (i.e. Mr. Slam always attacking Warthog, Twister randomly throwing anybody too close in a cyclone, or Spectre just randomly spamming ghost missiles at anyone who accidentally attacks him). Them doing minimal damage to each other would be less broken if they'd occasionally infight. Twisted Metal 3 & 4 was interesting because you'd sometimes have a CPU die without doing much damage to them or seeing them although they still had a habit of focus firing you when they could.
@@mr.bp-dcbg Yea I noticed that they take full fire damage if yo hate close to them as well. I feel like the game would be too easy if they took full damage from everything. That’s why I can finish TM3 in like 20 mins sometimes.
nice! I still have twisted metal games & them, & vigilante 8 games, & other vehicular combat games made during 90's shall always have a special part inside of this heart I have
Never really got into Vigilante 8 although I did really want to play it whenever I went to Blockbuster. It's essentially Arena Shooters, but with vehicles. Sadly none of these ended up in arcades where I think they would've had more longevity than what we see now.
I don't see how I didn't notice that one, but something like that isn't too uncommon...No clue what she was on there. Usually the game makes it less obvious, but that was nutty even for the them.
All vehicles will be done, deathless and must be faster than any current upload. I can see Outlaw 2, and Minion being the hardest for me to get the better time. Not so sure about Roadkill though.
On moscow i think you just unlocked a hidden attribute to grasshoppers special she initially hit you with her special and then proceeded to do extra damage while she flashed red snd then did the second special or sm i reaching lol shadow was disrespectful in paris
my question to u is at 14:50 if u knew u was gonna use richochets why didnt u gran the extra while u was down there? u drove right past them im sure that cost u time
I already had 4 which is usually enough since you pick-up two more on the island. In most cases about 4 opponents come through the teleporter in a timely fashion, and then after that you might as well go fight them. I do have some faster times with some vehicles sitting on my hard drive, but I'm not going to upload them anytime soon.
@@mr.bp-dcbg alright makes sense i havent played twisted metal 2 in years but as a kid thumper was always my favorite to play and minion of course cause hes overpowered
@@mr.bp-dcbg On Amazonia and Los Angeles it seems like the power missiles are following their targets. Maybe I am just imagining it but that is what seemed to happen when you attacked enemies with them. @@Zach_Bloomquist On Los Angeles I didn't even fire a power missile, and on Amazonia I only fired powers at close range. Because they're right next to each other in the inventory it seems like they're homing when it's just a regular homing missile.
@@mr.bp-dcbg that makes sense. I am going to watch all of your play throughs. I am getting ideas like how you defeated minion by dropping a bunch of mines in a line with a remote on the amazon bridge then attacking from the side on the lava. Never saw that done before.
Man Thumper’s special was so busted. He was my favorite character cause he could get quick kills.

Happy to see someone still playing old games like this
Bro these are sick. Thanks for uploading
Appreciate the comment/view, and compliment!
I love how these bring me back to 90's decade so greatly! 😀❤
Awesome speed run. A Minion speed run would be crazy. Can't wait to see that
That'll be for last. With how this game has been treating me, that'll be a little bit.
@@mr.bp-dcbg lol ok
My favorite car in the game the flamethrower is the best special ever lol
I think his special from Small Brawl fit his theme better.
@@WalknTalknStevnHawkn this is best version of him
Wow that was pretty fast! Thumper is another car that is really good to speedrun with due you his special being kinda broken.

I liked New York and Antarctica the best. You never had to fight all the enemies cause they fall to their death
