I don't get why some people always feel the need to scrutinize everything you do, Bjørn. From lane choice to doggy passport and seat belt blah blah blah. Just press play, lean back and enjoy. That's what I do! 😉 Great video! Nice family including dollythedoggy.😃
When you drove in the tunnel in Göteborg, did you know the locals call it "Tian"? (10) Because it runs "under Älva" (the river / 11). So I think the planned cableway across Göta Älv will be called "Tolvan" (12). Gothenburgers just can't help making puns.
13:20 Well, there are plans to use overcapacity in the electric system due to sunny days and lots of electricity by solar panels in the form of hydrogen production...
When we go to Hamburg we usually stay by Hotel Heimfeld it is 600 Meters from the Supercharger, no restaurant and a little old fashion, but not so expensive like Lindtner, I start the charge before breakfast and after eating breakfast we are fully charged and ready to go. PS: maybe you should tell other Teslafans about Norway and road tax system, how to register, before you drive to Norway, and don't make the mistakes I made, keep up the good work!
Very nice video. This is a good demonstration of how Tesla's Supercharger Network can be accessed during road trips. Unfortunately, Big Auto will never pay attention.
Idea: car charging on the Rødby and Gedser (and other) ferries. Of course, the caveat is the ship is burning lots of bunker fuel and spewing that exhaust, but might as well take advantage and charge the car, and the time savings from not having to go through Jutland.
Maybe but I am not entirely sure (I don't live in Europe). I don't think that Tesla intended the Destination Chargers to be for other EVs, even in Europe.
Because IN USA it sure the contact is only Tesla. I remember a French who is channel "Le guide de la voiture électrique" (the instruction of electric car) only french tell me this destination charger in Europe can Charge the Zoé.
Exactly. Now that I think about it, it is possible that you can charge the Zoe there, but I just don't know for sure. Sorry for jumping to conclusions.
Nice vid. I'm glad the dog survived the doggybag and wasn't eaten! I hope they will leave it alone in part 2 too...By accident stuck in the red light district, did the wifey really buy that?Just kidding. Nice vid and keep up the good work, it was really funny too!
A different style video, but the quality and emotions are the same!! Well done again! ..do you think one can do the same trip with a standard Model 3, or the range is too low for the distance between a supercharger and another, even adding some supercharger stops? Thank you! Have a nice trip!
Because the trip planner doesn't always make the right decisions. And the trip planner doesn't know when the passengers need to eat or which places are good to stop.
Hi, I am thinking about buying a Tesla model S P85D. But I want to know how it is on longer trips, do you have to go like, max 120 km/h, not running out of power too fast? if I were to go for example 140 km/h, would I run out of power much faster?
Depends on a number of factors. The Model S range estimator can give you a first idea, but it only calculates up to 120 km/h. www.tesla.com/da_DK/models
deziking so we've done a few road trips and some how we time ourselves pretty well for restroom breaks / eating. The trip computer also tells you when it's ready to go so you don't keep charging to 100% all the time. Maybe from one Supercharger jump to another you may need to add 20-50% charge, which when lower it ends up charging faster. (Lower state of charge = faster charging)
Like i thought a long while ago.. Commercial establishments can be the new .. "Petrol" stations.. Like real petrol stations, we need big investments.. And constant supply of gas.. From the oil well.. To the refinery.. To oil depo.. Then to gas stations.. We only need wires for electricity to be transported. And electricity is cheap and stable.. Unlike gas stations on its infancy.. Plenty of infrastructures are to be built.. But unlike EV chargers.. Electricity is now an established infrustructure.. The only thing needed is the installation of chargers.. no more no less
Peter Robann Sobrepena "all we need is wires" And land to bury cables in Pylons for areas that can't have cables buried in Substations to terminate the cables Increased electricity generation to cope with the higher demands on the grid But yep... "All we need is wires".
"We have bull shit and we have good shit". What a fantastic quote - thanks Bjorn

Exactly :)
How does the Tesla Auto Pilot do when in a long tunnel? Does the tunnels concrete interfere with the GPS and sensors in anyway? Would love to know :)
Its the internet, you got all kinds, even on my really small channel people have something to say. Its just comes with the territory.
cool name dude
when i was in Croatia i saw a tesla from Norway.. He must have travelled quite far... Its 2500km to to drive from Oslo.... :)
Nice video, makes us feel like we are part of the family.
Keep uploading awesome stuff like this!
Lol, 19:20 when one of the dogs from my family poops. I point it out and someone else cleans it up. Love your videos man, keep it up!
great Hostel in Hamburg - enjoy your trip and greetings to your family
You know how to make a road trip video entertaining.
i like to watch these videos and pretend i am going on vacation. it remains to be my dream.
Cool video, Bjorn! Love the new vlog-style road trip edit!
Fricken awesome ending where doggy poops in bathroom. LOL. Better there than in Optimus Prime.
doggy just improved the value of the room at 29:20 lol!

Nice video. The car is impressing big. Even the frunk is worth. The white seats look well. That is a very useful family car.
Joyous shared experience. Thank you.

23:23 Did you really needed to stop there when you had almost a full charge at the stop before that?
+Volvo Dashcam Yes, of course.
Hello old friend :) @Volvo Dashcam
The last part was the best part 😂 funny :)
hey Bjorn I really want you to go to Tromso
Awesome Vlog man. We need a large network of chargers like that in Canada.
We have a pretty good L2 Network thanks To Sun Country, would be nice to see more L3/fast DC chargers though
Question in 7:48 the video sounds loud, what caused it?
Idea: car charging on the Rødby and Gedser (and other) ferries. Of course, the caveat is the ship is burning lots of bunker fuel and spewing that exhaust, but might as well take advantage and charge the car, and the time savings from not having to go through Jutland.
hearing the fans of the model x hammering
How often does your wife drive the Model X?
Bjørn, love the videos, man. Keep them coming!
I love your vlogs man
We love your family, what a fun trip! Great vlog!!!! Keep up the good work :-)
Great videos!
8:33 What's this noise? Is someome vac cleaning his car or is it your battery cooling?
But with destination charger we can charge the Zoé epera e and ioniq EV to ?
Théophile Zellmeyer Nope. Only Teslas can charge there.
With european Norm the AC type 2 ?
Maybe but I am not entirely sure (I don't live in Europe). I don't think that Tesla intended the Destination Chargers to be for other EVs, even in Europe.

Are there solar panels on the roof of the covered superchargers? Looking forward to seeing you guys in Zurich on Monday.
At 00:19 what is the beep / strike against you ?
They are mole hills in the grass. It's a small, almost blind mammal that lives underground and eats worms.
Great Video Bjørn
I'm glad the dog survived the doggybag and wasn't eaten! I hope they will leave it alone in part 2 too...By accident stuck in the red light district, did the wifey really buy that?Just kidding. Nice vid and keep up the good work, it was really funny too!
That girl is cute
You driving a model X for road trip?..That is nice!..
When the dog took a shit in the bathroom had me dying LOL
A different style video, but the quality and emotions are the same!! Well done again! ..do you think one can do the same trip with a standard Model 3, or the range is too low for the distance between a supercharger and another, even adding some supercharger stops? Thank you! Have a nice trip!
that station in Denmark is solar powered station ???
Indeed it is.
Nice to see a fellow Aussie coming with you. Do you know where she lives in Australia?
She's from Canberra :)
Did you drive over 200 km/h | 124 mph on Autobahn with 5 family seats
Nice videos Bjorn. Just out of curiosity, can I ask your age?
Cool trip! Why do you plan each Supercharger-hop and not just enter the final destination?
Because the trip planner doesn't always make the right decisions. And the trip planner doesn't know when the passengers need to eat or which places are good to stop.
Shit you have nice roads in eastern Norway.
Are destination chargers only compatible with teslas?
Yes
You cannot eat spicy stuff? You must be Norwegian ;)

The faster you go, the more energy you spend.

When You go to Spain?
I love Europe, and I'm definitely going on vacation there Next year.
So Wifey, Wifey’s parents, her sister, Bjørn, and a doggo. Seems legit.
Even the dog knows that place was crappy lol

21:00 haha Bjørn, why do you change your voice when speaking Thai?! Sounds funny, but thats cool
Thai is a tone language. If you change the tone on the same word, it will have a different meaning.
you speak nativ Norge?
What a cool family. I was almost killed by my entire family for trying to make a short video during Christmas.
Is not from Rabbit is from Mole

"at least Dolly poop in the toilet" XD .... good dog ;)
Too bad you can't turn off the speedometer. That would help avoid getting nagged at in Germany!
+Tor-Erik Skorstad Type 2 and maybe CHAdeMO adapter.
