@@dots.sounds btw thanks for doing this. There so few demos out there for this pedal and the ones that exist don’t really do it justice! (Btw JPTRFX did not pay me to post this! Lol)
Great demo! I’m very interested in this. As something to darken/fatten my clean tone but retain the clarity while adding a bit of grit. Does this pedal basically do that? Mostly curious if it retains the clarity or loses dynamics when engaged.
thank you so much! as grit or saturation basically compresses the sound by nature I would say "it depends". This thing can stay very clean and picking dynamic but also go into blown out sounds. It basically is very dependend on the settings and how you play with it because you could use it just to slightly fatten your sound but also go in very squished drive territory.
It is hard to find a video on this pedal for guitar, as most are on bass. I have to say the term "saturation" for this pedal is exaggerated. The effect is pretty mild, it's not much drive at all, not like other tape machine Overdrive pedals can get to. Maybe you just didn't push it? Or I missed something? Or it's just subtle. Thanks for guitar version.
Glad you find it helpful! For me saturation is a pretty low amount of drive - less than most overdrives are capable of and more like the beginning of breakup, when preamps start to get a bit hairy for example. The same as you'd get from something like a Strymon Deco (even if that works completly different).
I feel like I could live in this sound forever…of course with verb and delay blended in. Great demo!
One of the most underrated dirt pedals out there! It’s so useful!
love how it just adds grit without bending the sound to much.

Gracias por hacer estas demos tan claras y sin nadie hablando. 💯💯💯💯💯💯
gracias y de nada! (that's probably everything I get done with my little spanish) :)
