I'm currently learning the piece as well. You sound wonderful- don't quit again! I expect for you to reply to this comment when you finish it, and I can't wait to listen
Thanks for the encouragement! How is it coming along for you? I'm not sure I will ever be finished with this piece, but I will let you know if I upload a performance recording next month.
@@fitphile It's coming along alright- I can do the whole things hands-separate, but I think doing that Coda at full speed will be the end of me haha. You're honestly so close! I'd love to hear it when you feel complete. I also just watched your Beethoven Op. 110 1st movement, and it's absolutely beautiful. I love the website as well! Do you have an instagram or anything?
That's a smart approach! I'm discovering so many blind spots because I didn't do diligent hands separate learning 😅 Not such a big deal for recordings, but scary for performing! Thanks for watching the Beethoven! It's a wonderful piece too. I'm trying to stay off of social media but recently started a IG account @imperfect_and_impromptu with the idea of getting some live stream performance practice...
@@fitphile Just requested to follow- i'd love to watch live streams!! I 100% feel you on staying off of social media. I now only have stuff downloaded on my pc so that it's less of a temptation throughout the day. I hope you had a great weekend
Dont listen to mean comments! The overall structure is there. I think you need to zoom into each of the parts of this piece and refine them step by step so that your technique is clean. I think you can do it if you keep at it 🎶 🎹
I hope you can play this piece on day too! That's a great question... Since I restarted learning this piece a month ago, it took about 15 hours of work to be able to playthru the entire piece from memory and not have to refer to the score to get back on track. (I purposely held off on memory work for the first week because I was preparing to play another piece from memory at a Zoom recital.) At the time of this progress video, I had accumulated about 23 hours of work. I would note that 6 years ago, I had worked on this piece enough to be able to stumble through it from memory (I hadn't started tracking my practice stats back then). And I've attended several classes where classmates worked on this piece, and of course listened to several recordings. So all of that has helped the relearning / re-memorization process as well. Hope that answer helps!
Beautiful
Thank you!

Amazing! Id love to play this piece one day. How much do you practice with the sheetmusic before practicing without looking at it kt?
