this sounds like such an amazing adventure! I wish the best for everyone who goes! Sadly, I am a Bilbo Baggins in the age of Frodo and I fear I only have but one adventure left in me. And I would rather avoid traveling with the elves just yet. And so I, regrettably, will have to live vicariously threw all the amazing stories I hear from amazing people like the ones here :)

I love that this will be continuing in the future. I won't be able to attend this year, but I would love to join in the following years. Going to a new country and joining a large community of unknown people can be scary. Yet, having a smaller community with familiar people, won't be as daunting. I can't wait to see what you all have in store.

I wish I knew how to LARP. But I’ll definitely be on the lookout for videos telling of the adventures there. I role-play characters at Renaissance Festivals and Anime conventions but that’s a whole different ballgame from LARP. So cool to watch, though :)

Loved the intro, it was fantastic! I sincerely hope you can get enough people signed on and look forward to seeing how this comes together. I would love to be a part of that adventure, but traveling outside of the US these days is not within my means at least at this time.

I want to go but I can't this year :-( I'm going to DrachnFest the week before, but already have plans for Conquest week (but I'm making a note for next year). This sounds so amazing!

I really wish I could go. I've wanted to go back to Germany for a long time. Mostly comes down to cost though. Also August tends to be a difficult month for me for various reasons. Maybe it will come together though.
Hopefully we will see you there! We tried to keep the cost as low as possible with the help of the travel agent.

After going through, all of your videos; again. I noticed your water proofing white canvas from HFT's is missing, or was taken down by you, or some evil Karen. 😠😡💀 (my opinion, that is) I know the 2 main ingredients, but not the ratio of the 2 items. Per canvas, to liquid, to silicon, to 5Gal bucket to soak in. And the 24hr + drying time, depending on volume of fabric. Can you please reply. The PNW, just loves to rain on almost every event, or just camping trip I go on. And the emersion input is what i am going for.

How am I supposed to trust if I have any chance of winning this. I can’t even get people in my area to drive me to events how am I supposed to trust that I have any chance to travel to Germany. I keep being disappointed and frustrated and hurt because I just want to have good larp experience and people in my area are standoffish and keep leaving me behind.
I encourage you to keep trying and not give up, if going to a larp is something you genuinely want to do! The contest will be based on encorporating Burgs products into a LARP costume and the winners will be picked not on crafting ability, but on the story and creativity they put into their character and costume!

I apologize there is a lot of hurt and frustration behind what I am saying. And I have a lot of hurt feelings because I just can only dream of having a true larp experience
