OMGOSH THANK YOUU I’m going to be Gwen for Halloween (specifically the scene where she meets miles parents) and i really wanted the watch to go with the costume
This is awesome, I was taking screenshots of every scene with the watches for reference photos, cos I was planning on making it, but this video came at the perfect time
Look very sick. From my personal experince working with magnets i think superglue is better for the magnet cause sometimes the hotglue and the magnet dosent stick well and when the magnet attracts the magnet might like rip through the cardboard
Interesting. Thanks, that's a good point. I was a little worried about that happening. I think it's okay in this case because of the multiple layers of cereal box cardboard between the two magnets. They dull the magnetic attraction, so it isn't too strong.... they connect, but it isn't forceful.
Idk if you still want it but the chanel "manualidades geek" has a tutorial on how to make one and also provide us his template for free, he speaks Spanish but I think you can still find it useful In fact I did one for myself today hah
You sir rock 🤙🏽🙏🏽I wasn’t able to purchase a watch for the Comic-Con here I. Florida came across this video in time and helped so much I was little worried that I wouldn’t be able to do it in time but this here topped my cosplay I am very thankful an happy to come across this video th aka man awesome job hope to see more 💪🏽
Thank you! The brand? I used Craft Smart for this project. Sometimes I use the brand Apple Barrel. Both brands are inexpensive and easy to find at Walmart, Michaels, or online.
I made it! I got all the way up to the painting portion and realized the magnets aren’t sticking 😭 I’m not sure what the problem is but it won’t stay closed
Hm... the cardboard on top of it may be too thick. I didn't have that problem, but that's my guess. Would you be able to cut a little bit of the cardboard away so there aren't so many layers between the magnets? That could help, but be careful...I don't want you to ruin it haha.
@@CardboardCosplay I did try that! I tested the strength of the magnets and they could connect through things thicker than the cardboard I used so I’m not too sure! I still love the watch though, thank you a bunch for the tutorial!
@@tete683 Hm. I'm not sure what could be wrong if it worked in your tests. Did glue get on the magnetic side? Or did you glue it in the opposite way so the two magnets repel each other? I wish I knew how to fix it for you haha
Please pin because I am first
You got it 👍
i hate poeple who beg to be pinned
@@MLoHim 😂 lol

This is so awesome thanks for making this! It’d be cool if you could make Spider-Punks (or your own version) of a multiverse watch!
You're the second person to suggest the spider punk watch! I need to find some good photos of it first...
@@CardboardCosplay good references are in the art book! They have a few variants you’d be able to choose from (or be inspired to make your own)
@@PaintimentiOoo, I haven't see that book. I'll look it up, thanks!
