+Huw Rees Music He has changed our relationship to some extent with the red card system but it depends on how often that'll be used, the whole migration thing is a compromise I think, Cameron did want 13 years but we got 7 which is the same for other western countries. But the EU has agreed to extend it to 13 years if we stay in. We might not have got what we or what Cameron wanted but at least we got something.
I agree with Mr Cameron. if I was the part of UK . I wouldn't leave EU . because UK is very important part of EU . I have to stick with EU it's better for everything . that's a my point of view.
+ERNESERNES If we stay in you will have all these lovely people from iraq syria turkey et al coming here with their middle ages religions and their hatred of women, especially white women. if you want a culture of rape, go for it and vote yes.
Why do we have to fight at all? Look around the world, look what our fighting has caused. The EU is imperialistic in ambition, vote leave! the UK is stronger by itself.
+Dodgy Dez I would say people are more concerned rather than scaremongering, true we would have more options in trade like Switzerland for example or we could have a free trade agreement with the EU. But Switzerland still has to abide by many EU rules and have to pay to access the single market, Negotiating a trade agreement could take years and if you completely break away then we could rely on the WTO but exports would still be subject to EU tariffs and production standards. Really this is all speculation and hypothetical the only way to find out for sure is to vote out but if we do and it all goes to shit, I bet its a lot easier getting out than it is getting back in.
Dan Chube There hasn't been enough education or facts on what: 1. The EU actually is 2. Pros and cons of the EU If these were cleared up during this campaign then i believe it would help make up the minds of people who are undecided.
Rommel Gag Have you noticed that the remain camp are celebrities, bankers, lords and baronesses, highly educated and privileged people of society and even our own teachers who i guess are in favor of privatization of our education system and turn them into academies.
"the other countries who've got that (unimpeded access to single market) have had to sign up to all the rules of the EU" those are Cameron's words. Note that he doesn't say rules of the single market, he says rules of the EU. That's because the essence of the EU is actually the single market.
I'm not convinced that leaving the EU is the best thing for the economy. It's still in a fragile state and is still recovering from the recession and leaving the EU would expose far too many vulnerabilities. The leave voters don't appear to have any comprehension of international economics and demonstrate this very well by dismissing any valid economic argument or concern as "project fear" rather than coming up with any sensible counter argument. As for sovereignty, what kind of "sovereign" country can we be when can't even put in enough money in industry, defence, counter terrorism and basic public welfare as a result of crumbling economy? So simply for the sake of our economy, it is much better to stay. we can still be sovereign and in the EU
I dont have a passport and he talks about giving more jobs.... what bs. I have just been on job seekers and 90% of the jobs going went to other people with passports... so foreigners were getting put forward for jobs instead of a British citizen as they actually had passports. (utter bs) And all the job centre would offer me was jobs at freaking Mc Donalds... All those years of studying was worth it! And when I turned it down they threatened to stop my job seekers and from getting access to job seekers for up to three years! And another thing that annoyed me is a majority of the staff at my job centre were not English and you can see them being nice to the people from their countries but as soon as you sit down they treat you like crap. Also what about homes for British citizens? Rent around my area for a one bedroom is between £800-£900 a month..... for you to be able to live on your own in my area you have to be lucky enough to get a 20k+ job. ..... but immigrants get given a house or apartment on council rates. (£400-£500 a month or sometimes free!) This country treats British citizens like crap and always puts immigrants first, so I am voting out so British citizens will come first always in their own freaking country.

Cant believe at 1:40 Marr asked Cameron to be honest. What a total waste asking him that. Cameron has never been honest since his mother shat him out and its not likely to ever happen in the future unless pink Elephants grow wings.
What most people do not understand is that the EU is fundamentally flawed: It is NOT a democratic institution and is really totalitarian in nature. The so called Parliament of the EU does not make laws and is a mere assembly of rubber stamps.
Didn't think I'd say this but I agree with him. People should pay in before they can get out. I've paid in for 15 years. When I went to Australia I had to have a load of money to support myself and a visa to live and work in the country.
+TehDanimal12 how did Britain survive *before* the EU? Oh yea, *very* well. We were the innovators, inventors and producers of the world. We've given up our fisheries, laws, regulations and border control to the EU. We are far worse off in.
+SteveFusionX It was a time of the Cold War, European economies were the biggest of the free world along side the US and Japan and exploding the rest of the world was easier. Will any single European country still be in the top five of the biggest economies by 2050... or even in the top 10? I don't know.
"Staying in a reformed European Union"? What reform? He could not get any significant concessions. As long as UK is subject to the European Court of Justice, the EU can overturn any policy made in UK, including immigration matters. And we pay more to the EU than we get out? That alone is a reason to leave and keep all our wealth here!
Britain is the european leader in Airbus aeronautics, in renewable energy, in banking services and global services, and annual growth, so England is at the crossroads of its own future. It's up to the British people to decide his own destiny by this coming referendum involving the high stakes for generations to come.
I like how he was the person who started this entire argument and then makes a complete U-turn and now wants to stay. I for one support the decision to stay because I don't trust Cameron to keep the bill of rights the same. you just know he's going to get rid of a lot of privacy rights and make the country into a police state.
i just hope that people look at the bigger picture when they vote in the referendum. Whatever the the outcome, it will be the younger generations who will be most affected. Older people like myself will only be marginally affected as change takes time, so it behoves us to think and vote unselfishly
All Britons; Vote to leave the EU. You should always vote to maintain your sovereignty. Lately the UK has become the lapdog of Germany. I can hear Winston spinning in his grave from across the pond.
So... as of 1-Jan-2021, UK has left the EU but still have access to EU market with free trade agreement, have no free movement of people with EU, ECJ has no jurisdiction and UK not in their customs union. Boris Johnson has in fact achieved what you were claiming was not possible.
There are many much smaller countries than the UK in the world (Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and many others) doing extremely well on their own creating wealth, improving the standard of living of their people, and made them proud of who they are, without being dragged along by a declining imperialistic regulation bound Union which is slowly dying because it is too undemocratic, and too German dominated. The Germans are very good at manufacturing things but not much good at promoting the interests of the non German parts of the Union. The EU is dying a slow but inevitable death. We don't have to die with them. GET OUT NOW
Well, Cameron was spot on. Without power and influence sovereignty means F ALL! And to believe that the UK would have more power and influence outside the EU was total delusion.
From being in the EU Britain has gained: "The longest uninterrupted period of peace in modern history" "The world biggest single market of 500 million to sell our goods and services into" "Guaranteed protection for workers so that big multi-nationals and right-wing politicians can't force a race to the bottom" "Freedom for all of us to travel freely in Europe" "The ability by working together to tackle more effectively big challenges like climate change and security that no country can deal with alone" None of that has meant giving up on independence ... we're independent countries that choose to work together for the greater good, let's keep hold of all of these gains. - NICOLA STURGEON
Idiot. If you leave the EU, you can reduce benefits to new comers to zero. You can reduce new comers to zero. You don't have to try and negotiate with the EU if you are not in the EU. The EU will not "reform". If it had the integrity to reform, it would had the integrity not to sink into corruption. The no-go zones have got to go-go. Said Ben Franklin, "those who trade freedom for a little bit of safety, deserve neither" Sovereign autonomy but does not mean surrendering the UK as a colony to a foreign power. If UK has lost so much faith in herself that she dare not sail her own ship through uncharted waters, then she is already sunk. "No, no" says Cameron "Let's chain ourselves to the oars and let someone else take the helm. The seas are too scary."
He was right ... just how right is becoming clearer and clearer. Where exactly are these new markets to replace the 44% of exports going to the EU? When do the trad talks start? Will they conclude before Brexit is less than two years? We are heading to economic disaster?
What fantasy world are you living in? The UK has lost billions due to Brexit. A 4% GDP hit in total. It's the greatest self-inflicted tragedy a country has ever done. Remainers were right about EVERYTHING.
If the deal is so sweet, why does Cameron need to give such lengthy answers?
+Dicky Weaver It's called turd polishing.
+jon smythe The work of a true artisan.
+Dicky Weaver I guess it`s like trying to explain how X²+5X+6 = (X+3)(X+2). There are going to be a few people that just don`t get it right away.
Ps, (X+3)(X+2)=X²+5X+6 is the shortest answer you`ll ever find, so don`t come back on me on this one.

+Dicky Weaver Because when having a long shit from the mouth can be lengthy.
He should never have called that referendum.
i think electing cameron was a step into the dark.
I'm not British citizen, but if what I hear about ex-PM Cameron is true, I agree with you. Electing such man step into dark in any country.
He was actually a breath of fresh air compared to Borris or “fighter” Truss who had the shortest PM term in history
Excellent performance by Andrew Marr, remaining courteous and acute at the same time. Not many interviewers achieve that combination
Leaving the EU will be the best thing for us, Cameron saying we will be in the dark is absolute shit.
do yo regret what you said
6:35 - Completely avoids looking into the camera and saying that Britain has sovereign control
+Jake Levi he spends the whole interview looking at andrew marr
Exactly
+outeu outeu it's all capitals so it must be right. you see, you have this thing called xenophobia and that's not good
+Tim Rosenburg
xenophobia is wisdom with ballz

+Dodgy Dez We've got more out of this deal than you've ever contributed to Britain.
Cameron thinks he's done well, but the leave side are mauling it to bits. As will the EU and ECJ if we vote to remain.

idiot,,
+Brandon Atchinson Yeah sorry but you sound like a moron.
I agree with Mr Cameron.

I love Europe but cant stand the EU as it currently stands.
Yes the common market was a great idea : then it became super political.
We should stay unite Europe, we're stronger together. Alone we don't stand a chance. Why can't we fight together to better what we have?
Why do we have to fight at all? Look around the world, look what our fighting has caused. The EU is imperialistic in ambition, vote leave! the UK is stronger by itself.
+natural91LC You are a very foolish person.
Wow, if you hate staying so much, then we're far better off without you. Good luck with everything lol
It all good saying that we would be better off on our own but have you thought about what would happen if we left?
+Dodgy Dez I would say people are more concerned rather than scaremongering, true we would have more options in trade like Switzerland for example or we could have a free trade agreement with the EU. If he wanted UK to stay in a reformed EU why not reform it with other members of the EU rather than holding a referendum.
It is not possible to Reform the EUSSR.
The amount of people who are undecided and will not vote will favor the remain vote.
We will not be leaving because of this.
+Fuji Wuji Undecided people that you know need to be persuaded to watch BREXIT THE MOVIE. Any intelligent person will make up their mind then. Peace

Thanks for uploading.
I'm voting to leave and so is everyone in our street. immigration immigration immigration. David Cameron hasn't got a clue ....
… so he was right. 😂
#Brexit is the only answer, Cameron seems like he's trying to convince himself he's right.
Well well well.. seems Cameron was right after all. Brexit is a disaster
This man was a plum.
With cameron's track record, how could anyone believe a word he says ? OUT !

David you'll always be my PM ❤👑

Hello somebody could send me the written record of the video from the beginning up to 1:37 please ? :)
All he can say is, "We're better, safer, stronger in the EU", but never gives any details as to why and how.
Five years later: labour shortage, HGV driver shortage --> fuel shortages, care home workers shortage, 1 million vacancies. Lots of fun.
@5:45 Cameron "It's taken 7 years to get this agreement... ". That's why we want to get out of the EU.
It's gonna be a propaganda shitstorm
nigel farage started one hell of a debate!!
Vote Leave.
Finally a good PM
Thank you for all you did PM Cameron.
Where I can find the transcript of this interview? I'm studying English and I think I could use it.

but I think it's best to stay.

Ask anyone from Greece, Ireland, Spain or Portugal.

I assume it has to do with exchange rates being favorable to the British?
Vote To Leave The EU people.
We've never got things done with conservatives.
if Britain leaves the EU :))we expect Scotland and Wales in the union after their independence of course :)) ! :D
51% to leave 49% stay.
It should be more like 80% leave, 20% remain. I have yet to meet someone who wants to remain.
Funny how he said he would join Brexit if he never got any demands from his failed meetings with Merkel etc.

From being in the EU Britain has gained:
"The longest uninterrupted period of peace in modern history"
"The world biggest single market of 500 million to sell our goods and services into"
"Guaranteed protection for workers so that big multi-nationals and right-wing politicians can't force a race to the bottom"
"Freedom for all of us to travel freely in Europe"
"The ability by working together to tackle more effectively big challenges like climate change and security that no country can deal with alone"
None of that has meant giving up on independence ... we're independent countries that choose to work together for the greater good, let's keep hold of all of these gains.

If UK has lost so much faith in herself that she dare not sail her own ship through uncharted waters, then she is already sunk. "No, no" says Cameron "Let's chain ourselves to the oars and let someone else take the helm. The seas are too scary."
Brexit is good for Britain
Cut off the benefits makes the people think and deserve, respect the penny.
I support the UK'S membership of the EU.
greece,portugal,spain,cyprus...you want more examples???????
So we ask once again when will they get ANY benefits...not a hard question But yet he does not answer it
Cameron got fucked up like Commodus when he faced Maximus #1
I'd prefer to be like Iceland.
Instead of been in and fighting against the parts we don't want. Why not leave and work with them for the parts we do want to cooperate with?
what about non-eu permanent residents? do they have to wait 4 years?
He was right ... just how right is becoming clearer and clearer. Where exactly are these new markets to replace the 44% of exports going to the EU? When do the trad talks start? Will they conclude before Brexit is less than two years? We are heading to economic disaster?
Cameron sounds like a second hand car salesman....
Why the people do not know the real England ?
It’s not quite been the disaster that the politicians was saying it was going to be
What fantasy world are you living in? The UK has lost billions due to Brexit. A 4% GDP hit in total. It's the greatest self-inflicted tragedy a country has ever done. Remainers were right about EVERYTHING.
Cameron l will. Vote out and Britain will be sunshine instead of darkness Europe.
