kanade almost always sings quite softly but she puts so much feeling into how she sings I feel like it makes up for it and then some. it's so interesting and really makes you feel it
I used to not love this cover. However, relistening to it made me realize that you don't have to scream in singing. Just singing with emotional conviction is enough to make a song still feel emotional. Kanade is a soft spoken character, and also has a struggle between living and disappearing. To have her sing this is the right call, as it proves that even soft singers can show power in their voices through conveying the song's feelings right. I really love the nature of this cover standing out with its melancholic touch.

Yeah cause all mental illness struggles can be summed up to an emotion like screaming 💀 - this version far surpasses any other version of this song for me it perfectly encompasses how I feel about life and my own struggles with mental health. There’s more ways to express grief and sadness than just screaming your sorrows
Her voice actor isn't bad. The voice is just to fit the character. Kanade is very tired easily because she barely leaves her house so to reflect that, the VA makes herself sound soft and like she's out of breathe because realistically someone who barely goes outside and fails to take care of themselves wouldn't have top tier vocals
If you wanna hear her voice actor at max power I'd suggest listening to Chase-Setsuna Yuki Setsuna Yuki is a character that the VA used to voice. (She had to quit because she's ill) but Chase is a good highlight of her abilites

Kanade is very tired easily because she barely leaves her house so to reflect that, the VA makes herself sound soft and like she's out of breathe because realistically someone who barely goes outside and fails to take care of themselves wouldn't have top tier vocals
If you wanna hear her voice actor at max power I'd suggest listening to Chase-Setsuna Yuki
Setsuna Yuki is a character that the VA used to voice. (She had to quit because she's ill) but Chase is a good highlight of her abilites
