After watching the entire video it’s amazing he got the gun from this mad man. He was getting punched in the face, in the back of his head and eventually was hit with a glass bottle on the top of his head yet still held the man back from the gun. Even after all of this he never pointed the gun back at the mad man while telling him to leave and get out. He never once used violence towards the assailant, like a true super hero.

So again, we’re not the only country to experience this issue. Are they becoming more frequent? Yes. But suggest that the pervasiveness of guns in this country is what is the cause of these mass shootings is simple-minded. Guns have been pervasive in the country for hundreds of years and only in the last few decades have mass shootings become more prevalent. The issue isn’t the guns. The issue is complex and likely has to do with the growing turbulence of our society and politics post-9/11 coupled with a growing mental health issue that we can’t seem to resolve.
