Great video, was pleased to see that the bike is easily manoeuvred. I’m 70 and am picking my 502c up next month. I will have to push mine up into my shed but could walk next to it in first gear. Coming back out of the shed down a ramp and turning it 180 degrees May be more of a challenge so seeing you move it so easily was reassuring. Thanks
Well im only 5'7" so it has shocked me just how easy it is to handle the wide bars are just right giving great low speed control so walking it or riding it up to the shed will be a doddle and its so well made and the value for money is outstanding.
So as you are doing a long-term review I have now had, mine since March 2020. I am in the flatlands of Norfolk with amazing coastal roads to go to during the summer or loads of decent riding to and from. I have only done circa 5k since new as I'm a summer rider as I work from home very rarely used for anything other than blasts in the rays. A couple of issues I have had to replace the petrol sensors set in the fuel tank just outside of warranty. This apparently was due to leaving it with H10 high-grade fuel and not filling it up completely over winter so air gap and high ethanol ate a seal. I have in Feb 2024 replaced the battery £25 for exactly the same one off eBay and got the RAC at home to come and replace it rather than the garage which would have cost me £125 apparently for battery fitting. Overall its been a trouble-free ride outside of that and a great for cruising all day on.
Nice bike Dave your video's are getting better and better, keep it up ,I usually watch for the darts but that brings back memory's been over there loads in my youth, live on the south coast now in Dorset but always nice to see where you where brought up,Keep um coming👍
Same here been riding bikes from about 14 full licence at 17 back in the 80s and i have always loved pulling engines apart bikes then cars and rebuilding them OMG buddy you name it ive had it from a Fizzy 50 and a Honda ss 50 Honda CDBenley 200 RD400Mx to R1s Bandit 12s 1250 Triumph TT600s to sprint ST 955s Hyabusa to Honda Fire storms 4 of them VTR sp1 and 2 TL100s and R even had a bloody Virago 535 lol all it needed was peddles lol... So glad you like the vids and i am getting better stuff as i go cameras sound gear Etc.
Excellent video Dave. I've recently bought a 22 plate brand new Rebel 1100 DCT and I can't get on with the automatic box when doing slow manouvers. Not having a clutch to feather is doing me in. I'm seriously considering having one of these instead. Please can you tell me what hand guards you have fitted please because they look really great ? :D
they are off M&P direct carbon fibre look with indicators built in now i have to take mine off every time i put the bike away so i have the side lights on them on a a 9v battery. www.mandp.co.uk/search?q=Hand%20guards&p=3&hFR%5Bcategories.lvl0%5D%5B0%5D=Accessories%20%3E%20Bars%2C%20Grips%20%26%20Footrests
would you put the side panniers and take this for a long trip? say around Europe, 6000km, one month on the saddle, maybe a little in the woods offroad to set up camping tent? right now im looking to buy my 1st bike and im in between Benelli TRK 502 X, CF Moto 650 MT and this one. btw, also aiming to use the bike for day to day town drive, but main interest in long travel trips.
O Hell yeh wouldn't think twice about it buddy, Not long after i filmed this video i went on a 470 mile run that's about 750Kms in one day it didn't skip a beat some of it was at motorway speeds 120kms+ and some on nice windy roads and the best two bits were i did over 250 miles without stopping no aches no pains just a big silly grin on my face and the best bit of all is i got 430miles to a full tank of fuel. So yes i would buy one all day long im just waiting for the 800 to come out Have a look at this video i repainted it over winter and now its the best looking bike as well th-cam.com/video/jtW9bO0Pm-Q/w-d-xo.html
@@DynamiteDaveLlewellyn thank you for the reply! greatly apreciated it! and i know it has 21 liter fuel tank but that economic? kinda hard to believe youve reached 430 miles with one tank, thats too good to be true.

@@DynamiteDaveLlewellyn impresive milage, clearly you can forget to take a visit to the gas station. ive talked to some pleople who have also ridden it and they both said something about big vibrations through the pegs starting 4000 revs. how bad is it? not that i want to race the bike but in a take over would not be pleasant to feel shaking legs. thx for the update on efficiency!
@@TheLostBoy01 This was something muted when i was doing my research on them for my videos so i spoke direct to Benelli uk and here is what the very nice lady told me. Hi i know that 2019 and early 2020 models there is a production assembly flaws. I am living in Turkey, in first they sent parts to Turkey in 2019 between 2020 and assembly here to sell. Probably they also sell Europe and UK it can be that problem. But i know that after 2021 quality and problems are gone they don't assemble in Turkey and they directly sent from China.
