Nice video. Thanks for spending the time to show us whats involved. Even with a smaller tractor I was impressed that you got that stump up in such a short amount of time. 👍👍
Thank you!!! I think a real key help is to leave the stump high so you have some leverage to push on it. I still use it every once in a while and it's very good to have on hand. When you need it, you need it.
Great video and very informative for me. Thank you for taking the time to share!! I am trying to decide between a short one or a long one like yours. After seeing your video, I am leaning towards what you have.
I have a stump bucket and use it for prickly ash on my property. I cut the brush- move the branches out of the way and then go in for the roots with the stump bucket that works really well. cheers!
Small scrub bushes are definitely easier with it. The full size bucket, even with a piranha bar (or similar) just has too much surface area. Thanks for the comment!
Just found your channel. Regular guy just learning and doing things we can all learn from and that helps. Been looking at different stump buckets myself. Different front ends, different style or type cuts on the sides for ripping/sawing through roots, replaceable teeth versus just a point like the one you showed us or 2 or 3 teeth up front that aren’t replaceable. Lots of options. Appreciate all the info, demonstration and commentary as you learned.
Nice video, been on the fence about the stump bucket. They have gone way up in price. I'm surprised you kept the mower deck on. I take mine off when. It's in the woods.
I hadn't bought under armor at that point and the mower deck adds some protection. It is a bit of a pain because it reduces clearance and widens the tractor.
Good idea. For my uses, I don't want to have to unscrew the ball each time I want to use the forks. Nice to be able to just plug it in to the 2" receiver when I need it. Plus the receiver accepts several different kinds of hitches.
Thank you! I use DJI Osmo action cameras and every once in a while, I will use my Nikon DLSR, which I did in this video. I also use the Rode Wireless Go 2 microphone set. I edit everything in iMovie on a MacBook Pro. Thanks for watching!!!
Great, vid, I just pulled the trigger on the "updated" version a few hours ago. Looking forward to getting it in a week or so. You ever use yours for rocks?
@pshep123 Thank you very much! I have dug a small rock or two out with it. Sometimes it helps to put a piece of 4x4 under the middle of the bucket to get some leverage. Enjoy! 🤠👍
Nice! Let the machine do the work! Finally someone is not trying to damage thier equipment. I've been considering one of these for my tiny tree farm. I have some 3yr old trees I wanted to relocate. I really want a tree spade but YIKES! a decent used one in 5k. So I wont be investing in one for now
Shouldn't the teeth/cutter on the sides face forward so as you push in on the bucket it cuts on the incline rather then as you pull out. Seem like it would put more pressure on the teeth that way?.
The technique I'm using now is I'll dig in, then tilt back and pull up as I back the tractor up. That makes those teeth grab and rip on the way out. Works pretty well. Sure beats a shovel 🤠👍
Hey, welcome to the channel! I got my pallet forks from Redline Systems Inc. Thanks again!
Have you had any issues with damaging your loader arms while using that? I have a kubota l3301 and would like a stump bucket but I've seen some discussion boards about loader arm damage while using a stump bucket.
I have not experienced any damage to my machine while using the stump bucket. I think it's like any other implement in that if you are careful and don't push things too hard, you'll be fine. One thing i learned is it is always better to "push" into an object rather than "ram" into it. Hope this helps!
You certainly can damage your loader using attachments like that, the forces on the loader arms from digging and prying at odd angles will definitely damage your loader...it wasn't designed for that stuff...one of those right tool for the job type deals. I wouldn't put anything like that on my tractor as I'm the one paying the bill for repairs. If you need to dig and pry get an excavator or you can rent one cheaper than one of those stump buckets cost.
@@wildbill23c I can see where you're coming from and yes, I could damage something if I'm not careful. It is certainly not a highly used implement and I appreciate the words of caution. Thank you for the comment!

@@samsdoinstuff thanks for replying so quickly. One last question. Does it attach to the Kubota quick attachment alone or does it need a it’s own quick attachment frame?
I mostly liked the demo on the Titan Light Duty Stump Bucket. It seems to be the most affordable stump bucket for light duty tractors. I have an L2501 that I am thinking about getting a stump bucket for. Nice video.
Thank you very much! It seems to be holding up well and is certainly better for that type of digging than the standard bucket even with a tooth bar. I'm sure I'll get better with it over time.
Bucket is too long for a loader with such limited capacity. If it was half that length, you would have much more capability increasing the torque to lift
That is a good point. I do think it is the best option out there for a sub-compact tractor and was worth the price. Heck, every minute of tractor time is worth it, right?!? :)

They say it's best to take small bites and short jabs to cut roots. There is a learning curve. Nice attachments getting a stump bucket soon.
Thanks for the tips!

Thanks for the video. I was hoping to see what a stump bucket could do in place of a backhoe. Well done sir!
Thank you very much! Glad I could help 😁👍

Welcome to the channel! I really appreciate the "regular guy" comment! I want to keep it that way!
Surprised you tube didn't get you for using Bill Dances intro song lol.great review.👍
I’ve been wanting one of those and I like what I see! Enjoyed
I am still using mine. I don't use it a lot, but when I need it, it really works.
Great video. Thanks for sharing your experience. Looking forward to more.
I’ve got the titan stump bucket too. It is nice. The tip has not bent yet.
I haven't bent anything on mine yet either. It sits around a lot but when I need it, it's definitely worth it 👌
Hello From Northern Virginia, just subscribed, Nice intro, reminded me of a Bill Dance fishing intro😂 Handy Log Holder, Take Care and work safe🚜🪵🇺🇸

Good insight on the attachments. And i am glad to have avoided a Kabuta sub compact
Thank you! The BX certainly has its limitations. The rule of thumb is usually get the biggest machine you can afford. You'll never be disappointed 😁👍
Thanks for the vid! I appreciate your explanations along the way.
You're very welcome! I'm thinking of doing reviews on all of my equipment, new and old. Thank you for watching!!!
Wow! Just ran into your channel. You got great content good choice in tractors and saw. Had to subscribe for more!! : )

Drill a hole in one fork. Take a ball and attach it. You can move large trailer with a 1” 7/8 ball.

Definitely take it slow and you'll be fine. Hey, it's way better than a shovel and a pick-axe!!!

The Redline forks weigh 178 lbs. The only lighter forks I've seen are Ai2. Curious how much your Titan forks weigh? TIA
