Stayed in St Maarten for a week in June 2023, download map of island before you go. Google maps will take you everywhere with no signal required. Also with the exception of the obvious fame of Maho beach which speaks for itself....baie rouge beach is close and by far the nicest beach on the island. Go. Be there. Or go to Anguilla because well it's Anguilla you'll figure it out

😂 France AND the Netherlands, both countries, drive just like in the USA. I don't know if this is not common knowledge, but in Europe, only the UK drives on the left side.

What do you expect from a video made by a dumb burger?

The French side was a dump before any hurricane. Insurance has nothing to do with it. Stay on the Dutch side. Orient Beach was ok but unless you are buying at a bar or restaurant you had to pay for public toilets.
We went to a restaurant at orient . Ordered burgers and asked for well done and were delivered rare. We specifically asked for well done and the waitress was telling us they eat rare burgers all the time. Well we dont . My wife ate only the edges. $20 Us in 2014. Each .

Where did you rent the jeep at and how much? Did you have to refuel when returning it?

We rented ours through Blue Bubbles Rentals. I wouldn't recommend them if you can find another option. The jeep we got had a broken speed odometer and gas gage. It reminded me of an old, rundown farm Jeep. I don't remember exactly what we paid, but it was around $150 for the day. Most Jeep rentals are renting for around $140-$200 for the day. And yes, the required us to bring the tank back full. That was another thing, the gas tank had a lock on it and they forgot to give us the key. The gas station attendant had to find a key to get it open.

Do you have to buy insurance for rent or a car there how much they charge for insurance there? What a good company to rent thank you.

We rented our Jeep with Blue Bubbles Rentals. We went through a company called Viator to purchase the rental. They also have other companies to choose from. Here is their link. www.viator.com/. As for insurance, it’s always good to have, but not required. The cost will vary depending on the coverage you purchase and how many days you have it rented. Check with your current insurance company because some will cover you without needing to purchase any extra. Also, some travel credit cards will also cover you if you purchase the rental using that card. Hope this helped. Safe travels.
