Oh, yes, I did, Deborah! SAGAFJORD was stunning despite some overwrought modifications. I documented her several times but probably best when she was the ROSE when I guest lectured during her penultimate cruise. The kind captain gave me complete access to the ship, which was such a privilege. Wishing you a wonderful 2024! :)
I loved the Sagafjord. She was part of that amazing year, 1965, with the advent of the Oceanic, Michelangelo, Raffaello, and Sagafjord. Purists might add the Queen Anna Maria. I was 15 & close enough to NYC to be able to visit each of them within weeks of their arrivals. It was almost the last hurrah.
Anything with a Fjord in it is instant click bate. Especially the Sagafjord! It’s funny my late grandmother always hated the Bergensfjord and Oslofjord always sailing on the Stavangerfjord! Why cause she was perfect and the others two modern. Yet she loved the Saga Sisters.
Fantastic! STAVANGERFJORD was of course a great classic and beauty but I'm mad for OSLOFJORD and BERGENSFJORD (which was decorated by Tien Hoven, who did ROTTERDAM). Every NAL ship was gorgeous, just like the SAL ships were. Perfection afloat. Thanks for posting and Happy New Year. :)
Sagafjord! Day made
loved taking photos of the sagafjord with her norwegian america and cunard colours while visiting vancouver
And no better backdrop on this planet. Happy New Year, Jeff. :)

Lovely video. I enjoyed it a lot 😌😌. I'm sure you visited them too. This was a treat to watch, thank you Peter.😊😊
