If you can't afford a Mesa Lonestar..and what to achieve a creammy as hell tone do this: Buy A vox AC30/AC15 (either 1x12 or 2x12) - buy this pedal and use them like this: On the amp - top boost channel: bass and treble at 75% out of 10, tone cut almost all the way up - 95% - and then use this pedal: Air dial it in at 25% so barely engaged (9 o clock) and EQ at noon - then volume and gain up to your liking - trust me..you'll get an amazing tone by doing this!!!

The JHS AT is as good as any high gain distortion pedal IMO. Angry Charlie mod with the headroom variance.
