@@xeezere8857 it’s been great so far. It’s easy to make a few typos because they’re sensitive, but you get used to it and it’s no longer an issue. Love it 100%.
I bought a K100 for my home gaming PC, and I like the feel of the keys, as well as the features and comfort of the wrist pad. I notice that I'm able to type a little faster with way less typos than the K95 that I previously had at home. I ended up getting another K100 for my computer at work. As for the little keyboard stands, so far it has not been an issue with them extended. I find this keyboard much more comfortable to use than the K55, K70, and K95 that I've used previously at home, and the basic Dell keyboards that I've used at work previously.
When my beloved k70 low profile gave up the ghost, I opted for the K100... The metallic ping of the K100's keys made it the most obnoxious keyboard I have ever used, leading me down the rabbit hole of 'custom mechanical keyboards' ...
I was waiting for your review. By far the most down to earth and honest reviewers out here on youtube. Ive based a lot of my purchases from your reviews and i haven't been disappointed. Keep up the awesome reviews!
All Cherry MX actuate at the same distance (2.0mm), while Speed Silvers actuate at 1.2mm and Cherry Silents are 1.9mm due to the sound pad. Clickies (Green & Blue) actuate at 2.2mm. I'm more of a boutique mech keyboard fan and tend to keep far away from any large brand "gamer" product. That being said, as far as a gaming keyboard goes, where speed takes the "W", this is the current king. I just might cop one to swap out when gaming. I may even use the unicorn shit from time to time (thats RGB for anyone who is unaware).
extremely solid but this trend of $200+ brand prebuilt keyboards just bothers me, this has the (great) build quality of the alloy origins but the latter is $90, so how are pbt keycaps which arent expensive to produce, optical switches which aren't expensive to produce, and macros/knob resulting in a $140 price difference? They would probably profit MUCH more making this available at a cheaper price because the average person isnt gonna dish out over 200 on a gaming keyboard
My Son just picked up Open Box one at Best Buy for $150.00. Thought that was a great Value for $100 off MSRP Pricing. Open Box but looked like it had not even been used.. everything was included..
I actually love the large font but I don’t mind change. I do have to say that I feel they made the font smaller so that they could use less of the inside plastic since it’s pbt caps.
It looks like the secondary commands on the number keys across the top row are lit but the ones on the number pad don’t seem to light up. It was almost perfect.
I love mine, getting used to the extra keys on the left htting the G1 instead of esc on games ahhh but ill learn. Bought a nice esc key cap that replicates an old pc so its x2 size and working my way round it with fingers
Veeeeeeeeeeryy nice vid thanks for your review:) what do you mean, should I change from the k70 mk.2 low profile when i want the fastest sctuation point? k70 mk.2 low profile has cherry mx low profile speed (1mm actuation point) Thanks and hope youre stayn safe
hey, I am considering buy the k100 but i am not sure which version to buy, the silver speeds or the OPX switches? I think I've tried them both and it felt like the OPX switches were more loose compared to the silver speeds which felt more solid and high quality... what are your thoughts? I would go to try them again but we are currently in lockdown so I can't try them out before making a decision.
hey techne could i ask what you think the best TKL mechanical keyboard is my budget is around 140 CAD and under. also, what is the keyboard your using right now? thanks in advance!
should I get the Fnatic miniStreak TKL or hyperx origin core, tbh I want it for mostly gaming but for typing as well, I saw both reviews however they both seem like a good option but with one is better? btw this will be my first mechanical keyboard.
Hello, I’m wondering if you can review this monitor BenQ GW2283. It’s 22 inches and 99 dollars. It’s a fairly budget monitor. I’m not sure if you’ve done it yet i was looking on your channel to see if you had reviewed this already.
He's the kind of dude I want to hear say "Badabing, Badaboom" lol.
Whenever I hear the word “stinkin” I just automatically say it in his voice lol
lol
lmao!

@@TheTechne is this keyboard still stinkin solid and the best for 2021?
@@TheTechne so is this is the best gaming keyboard you have ever owned?
Yo you grew so much congrats I remember being here when you first had like 1k and you had your old background
Looks like an awesome keyboard.
seriously how many times he said “Stinkin” though😂
"Stinkin" is just *his* word, man😂
It's in the stinkin title.
I love his energy when he says it 😂
You’re the first person I come to if I wanna watch a tech review. Love your videos keep up the amazing work
My k95 has been running strong since 2017. The keyboard has been running like a champ.
0:15 nice transition
Just got my K100 in yesterday. Spent all night playing with the RGB configs, and macros. It’s definitely worth the $230!
hows your experience with the switches?

I went from K95 with cherry speed which i used for over 4 years.. No issues. The only reason i upgraded was stabilizers. Very rattling on k95.
This video is perfect for a drinking game. Just take a shot every time he says "Stinken solid".
Nice vid and keyboard

Damn i like your style lol! Totally subbed! You make hardware reviews so much fun and thoroughly enjoyable!!
The upside down space bar has made another appearance 😂
IM NOT CRAZY
Let’s go!!!! 100k, Big Congrats!
You were right!!! this keyboard is stinkin solid!!!
Great keyboard, there is some spacebar ping though. Mine had the same, I just stuck some o-rings on the stems and it solved my issue.

Honestly would’ve been a perfect keyboard if we got more than one switch choice because both switches are way too sensitive.
What is the absolute BEST keyboard for gaming?
so much personal preference. size, build, price, switch
nice video
thank you
I love this keyboard. It has everything you need. The Elgato features, keys are so stinkin' smooth... lol
Would love to own one. But a bit over the budget as of the moment. But love the vid techne! Always love your vids! 💕🙏🏽

Sounds good although those customized keyboards sound much better in my opinion, however they spend like 800$-1600$ on those.
